Chapter 16

The whispers stopped through the guests and the royalties looked at Aoyama, getting doubtful again.

Todoroki raised his hand to have the word again. "Gender doesn't matter when it comes to love." He briefly said, a glimpse of annoyance showing in his tone.

Aoyama tilted his head in confusion, raising his hand for whenever he wanted to have the word. "But you need to have a child who'll be the next one to rule when you two can't." He said. "Like, who'll be the next King or Queen when you two have reached your ends?" He explained a bit more.

Todoroki sighed, raising his hand again. "There can always be a solution to that." He simply replied, finding it utterly ridiculous for caring about such things.

Endeavor spoke out of nowhere, getting everyone's attention. "And what sort of solution would that be?" He asked, staring at his son.

Todoroki raised his hand again to speak. "It's not important for now. We can find a solution to it whenever. We have good time." He simply replied with, dodging the question.

Endeavor kept silent, still staring at Todoroki, whom also stared back at him. "May I have the word please?" Midoriya's mother, Inko, got both of their attentions.

"Go ahead." Endeavor let her have the word, quite shocked to see her actually speak.

Inko took a deep breath and straightened her back. "I think that we shouldn't worry much about who'll be the next to rule. As Prince Shoto Todoroki said, we have good time to think on that. We don't have to rush things." She said in a calm, yet brave tone. "There can always be a solution to anything, am I right King Endeavor?" She looked at Endeavor, whom didn't reply. "Weren't you the one saying that there will always be a solution? Isn't that your life motto?" She said, this time wanting him to reply.

He didn't answer at first. He just stared thoughtful at her, trying to find the right answer - or well, the answer he thought that was right. He finally decided to speak after a couple of minutes."You're right about that." His words gave his own family a shock. It was unusual for them to see him actually agree to someone who isn't royal. "We can wait. We have time." He nodded his head in agreement.

Midoriya let out a sigh of relief, meanwhile Todoroki was trying his best to not smile, which was also sort of surprising to see from him. Todoroki smiling? Pshh. Never heard of that.

Anyways, the whole situation seemed to go well. Questions were asked and Todoroki answered them calmly, finding always a solution to each question. The guests seemed to have calmed down and the royalties didn't seem to have any doubts.

As a long time had passed, Endeavor decided to take a break from all this talk. "Listen up!" He stood up, getting everyone's attention in the room. "We're going to have a short break! We need to clear our minds before we make a decision! So may you all! There will be a bell heard when the short break is over! Be sure to be here by then!" He explained, loud and clear. "You may all enjoy this break!" He then let everyone go their own ways.

Kirishima noticed Bakugou quickly getting up from his seat, entering a door that probably lead to the outside. He also noticed Todoroki pulling Midoriya with him to another room, probably to spend some alone time together. Endeavor kept sitting, thinking hard to himself. Some other royalties also left and some stayed. A lot of guests as well left and many of them stayed.

Kirishima was one of those guests who decided to leave. He wanted to follow Bakugou, to see how he was doing.
He quickly ran out of the room, trying to find his way outside. He asked for directions a lot, from the guards at least. The guards were familiar with Kirishima, since he was staying over with Bakugou and all that, so one of the guards actually lead him outside.

Kirishima thanked them and started to look out for Bakugou. It took only a couple of seconds before he saw the blonde man, sitting on a bench, looking up at the sky. A smile crept on his lips when he saw him. He took a few breaths, trying to catch his breath from all the running he just did from looking after Bakugou.

He inhaled. "Bakugou!!" He shouted. Bakugou snapped out of his daydream, turning his head, only to see Kirishima waving both his hands at him.

"Ugh." Bakugou groaned in irritation, thinking that he didn't want to be bothered by someone so loud, yet Kirishima ran up to him, sitting next to him on the bench. "Hey!! Who said you could sit next to me?!" Bakugou snapped, already being irritated.

"Me?" Kirishima quickly replied in confusion. Bakugou just clicked his tongue and decided to not waste energy on something simple as that. "I missed you, ya know. Hehe ~" He bluntly said, making Bakugou blush and sprung up from the bench.

"W- What the fuck did you just say to me?!?" Bakugou almost stammered, meanwhile Kirishima wiped off the sweat from his forehead, completely ignoring him.

"Gosh. It took me a while to find ya." Kirishima said as he wiped off the sweat with his sleeve. He even waved his hand at himself, which was just a gesture that showed off how warm he was from all that running.

Bakugou swallowed hard and sat back down next to him again, looking away. "Why did you come here?" He asked, sounding embarrassed.

"As I said, I missed you! I wanted to talk and see you again." Kirishima, as usual, bluntly said out loud. His words made Bakugou's face burn and his smile made him question a lot of things, such as why Kirishima was so cute while smiling.

...

Cute?

Bakugou just realized what he had thought. "C- C - Cute?" He stammered to himself, making Kirishima confused about whatever he was on about. His face turned red and he, again, sprung up from his seat. He shook his head like crazy, almost crushing his head with his hands.

"B- Bakugou? Are you-" Kirishima worryingly stood up, about to walk over to Bakugou, but got right cut off when Bakugou turned around as quick as possible.

"You? Cute? Pfttt! Never! That's just stupid! Haha!" Bakugou coughed. "Haha!" He continued.

Kirishima frowned. "Your face is really red. Maybe you're sick?" He thought out loud, and he was right, almost right. Bakugou's face was quite red, almost matched with Kirishima's red hair - but it got even more redder when Kirishima placed his forehead against his.

Bakugou opened his mouth to speak, but no words left. He just kept on making weird, not understandable noises. He tried to grab a hold of the situation. "Hmmm. You're not warm at all." Kirishima said, while pulling himself back, so their foreheads weren't touching. He thumbed up, a smile showing as well. "Yup! You're healthy!"

Bakugou just stood there, looking down at the ground. "You-" He gritted his teeth. "You fucking bastard!!!" He yelled, pushing Kirishima, making him fall down on the ground, and then he ran away, back inside the house.

Kirishima just sat down there, watching Bakugou run back inside. "What just happened...?" He quietly mumbled before the bell was heard. He sighed and got up, then walked back inside to the room where the meeting was held. He went back to inside with the large crowd and sat down where he sat earlier.

Every royalties were on their seats as well, but Kirishima's focus was on Bakugou, whom was still red as a tomato. Kirishima could tell that Bakugou's mother straight up asked why he was so red, especially since Bakugou seemed panicked when she asked him.

Kirishima let out a chuckle from the sight of Bakugou trying to make up some lie to why his face was so red. It didn't seem like his mother believed him, and he seemed to be struggling with convincing her that he was doing fine. It made Kirishima snicker, the people sitting around him giving him weird facial expressions. He noticed, cleared his throat, and went back to paying attention to all of the royalties and not just Bakugou.

Endeavor took a sip from his green tea, before speaking. "So, any other questions?" He asked, expecting more.

The royalties seemed to be hesitant at first, not really knowing what to say or to do, but then someone raised their hand.

"Go ahead, Tamaki Amajiki." Endeavor nodded his head at the young boy, who flinched when he heard his name being called, and he also had his head lowered, making it impossible for him to see Endeavor's nods.

"U- Um." Tamaki scratched his cheek, before peeking up at Midoriya and Todoroki. "I- I was just curious about- uhhh- ummm." The way he handled his words didn't seem to go well. He just kept on stuttering them.

There was also a boy behind him, who seemed like to be his bodyguard - which was what Kirishima thought. He had blonde hair and very weird-looking eyes. Kirishima didn't thought it was quite unique though. He also was buff, especially more buffer than Tamaki. He just stood behind Tamaki and put his hand on his shoulder. Kirishima came to the conclusion that maybe that buff guy was supporting him, because Tamaki did seem to be having a hard time speaking.

Kirishima thought that the relationship they had between them was quite wholesome, especially since they seemed to be quite supportive of each other.

"I'm- I was just curious. I- I hope it's not personal to ask this." He lowered his head again, almost as if he was bowing down. "F- For how long have you two been together?" He shyly asked.

Midoriya gently smiled and looked at Todoroki before he answered Tamaki's question. "I think we've been going out for, uhh, five years?" He looked back at at Todoroki, to see if this was actually correct, and it seemed to be so.

Tamaki peeked up, looking at Midoriya. "That was all I wanted to know." He then looked at Endeavor. "I think it shouldn't be a problem for them to marry." He said in a quiet voice. All the royalties could hear him, but not the guests who sat high up in the crowds. "They also seem to be comfortable with each other, so I uhhh- errr- ummm-" He started to panic again. "W- What d- do I- I d- do?" He looked over his shoulder, up at his bodyguard who looked down at him. He wasn't allowed to speak at all, because he was just a bodyguard, which made him unable to answer Tamaki. "M- My mind is blank." He still looked at his bodyguard, whom still didn't answer.

Tamaki gave up and looked back at all the royalties, then back at Endeavor. "I- I want to go home!" He slammed his head on the table. This time the guests could hear him clear, so they all got confused of whatever that was happening, Kirishima being one of them.

Endeavor sighed out. "Any other questions?" He asked, getting a glimpse of everyone by the table. No one raised their hands. "Doesn't have to be questions. It can also be what you all think about them in general." He reminded them.

"Hey! Old man!" Someone from the table called out, his tone and choice of words being very impolite. He didn't even have permission to speak, which also counted as being impolite.

"Pardon?" Endeavor asked, sounding quite annoyed. Todoroki and Midoriya facepalmed, while Bakugou's parents seemed to be in panic, especially his father. He seemed to be almost pissing on himself from just looking at Endeavor. The mother on the other hand had the urge to just bring Bakugou back to his senses with a help of a chair.

Did I also mention that she wanted that chair to just be thrown at his face several times and head, then Bakugou being thrown out the window right after his pretty face got smashed by a chair?

That's what she felt like doing to her soon, but she kept it all inside and she was doing her best to keep her desires hidden.

"Can you just accept their marriage already? My ass and legs are almost falling asleep from just sitting on this stupid pillow. Why do we gotta do everything Japanese-styled. Geez. Just end this meeting with a, I accept, and bam!" He said, yawning to show off how tired he was of this.

Endeavor almost seemed to be blowing up, causing a huge explosion - that didn't happen though. "I guess you'd like to see them being together, huh?" He asked, still sounding annoyed.

"Tch." Bakugou clicked his tongue. "It would be more bothersome for me to seem them both bawling their eyes out after being rejected. Your stupid son over there would probably even run off if he got rejected." He rolled his eyes when he saw the look Todoroki gave him.

Endeavor kept quiet. The other royalties kept quiet as well. Some of the guests were whispering and Kirishima was holding back his laughter.

"Fine then. If there are no more questions then I guess I'll just cut to the point." Endeavor inhaled and stood up.

All the guests got quiet.

Kirishima locked his hands together, almost as if he was praying. He closed his eyes, afraid to open see what will happen.

The royalties stared at him.

Bakugou stared as well, staying calm.

Todoroki had a very calm facial expression, but inside he was a living mess.

Midoriya panicked. He tried to calm down, but couldn't help to almost burst into tears.

Todoroki noticed how much panic he had, and held his hand tightly as ever. It showed how afraid he was as well. How much in panic he was in as well. Midoriya understood that. After all, they loved each other quite deeply.

"I-" Endeavor started, which got everyone tense.

There were only two words to choose from, which could change everything. It was either I accept or I reject.

Just two simple words could make everyone go tense.

"accept."
