A cat demon takes hold of one of the dogs and bites its head off, smiling menacingly and showing its full set of blood soaked teeth. The remaining dogs start to howl and scatter. "Rover, grab something quick!" Sparky shouts with a hockey stick in hand.

Rover starts to scramble up the bleachers, to grab the baseball bat he left up there. Sparky rushes to get the ghost off of another dog, using his hockey stick. From the corner of his eye, he sees another ghost rush by, right towards Rover. Sparky turns around and shouts, "Rover, watch out!"

It's futile though, since the howling of many drowns out any semblance of Sparky's voice. The ghost takes hold of Rover and decapitates him. His limp body rolls down a few seats before coming to rest. Sparky can't bear to watch, so he turns around, but discovers that the distraction allowed the demon to kill the dog he was trying to save as well. All around him, there is only death, he can only hold his hockey stick close and attempt to defend himself when the time comes.
