Keigo was sitting on the couch using a feather to play with Kitaro, you were in the kitchen cooking up some dinner. You could feel something was about to happen and it wasn't good, Keigo although holding his act seemed more on edge, He had changed into his hero costume and asked you to wear your satchel, you had been reading books while cooking trying to produce some hornet pheromones and crow pheromones, you secretly even made a red one indicating it belonged to Keigo, just in case you needed to send him far away. He hadn't seen you make it and you hid it in your pocket instead of your satchel so he wouldn't take it away.

You sigh watching your stew come together, closing the third book you were reading. You hear something buzz. "that must be the 'security' guard," he says sarcastically unlocking the door and going to the gate. you giggle "I knew you had one" you say to yourself tasting your stew. You hear a strange yet familiar growling. You peek around the kitchen and look at the door. You hear whispering and walk to the door peeking out. It was Hound Dog and Ectoplasm outside talking with Keigo. You try to hear them but they were whispering. You sigh and go back inside.

'what's about to happen?' you think to yourself 'he probably only called them because his wings aren't full-grown back he can't fly with you with him and he can only use so many of them before he can't even fly himself to safety' you were so lost in thought you hadn't realized Keigo and the others walked in. "Hey Epithymia" you stiffen up at the sound of your hero name "Hm? yeah?" you turn around pretending you hadn't already seen Ectoplasm and Hound Dog "OH! hey, guys, it's been awhile, so you're the security guards Hawks relies on" Ectoplasm chuckles "No tonights the only time Hawks has asked for help" he says "I see why he was so concerned" he adds. You blink and look at them "what do you mean by that?". "Only a few of us know about your situation but last night your house was attacked, when we couldn't find you we started to gather pros for a search and rescue. That is until Hawks told us you were with him".

You stagger and fall back Keigo runs and catches you "H-hey it's okay your house is okay, they only went in there to look for you the pros showed up before they could do any damage," Keigo says reassuring you. "A few of us from the Hero association are working to stop the league of villains but when Hawks told us they need you to control thoes Nomu things you became a high priority." Ectoplasm finishes off. You sit down at the table trying to process everything you were just told. Keigo kneeled in front of you "you're safe there's no way they can take all of us" he whispers. "I'll sniff them out before they even get to the house" Hound dog growls, "I'll send clones for you if it gets to that point, giving you time to run away," Ectoplasm follows up.

You look up at them "I can't just run away, they'll hurt you guys" you say feeling like everyone is putting more on the line than you. Keigo grabs your hand "We can't let them take you". you shake your head "You said it yourself they can't take us all, I'm fighting!" you say looking at him with passion in your eyes. He sighs "if it gets too dangerous you run no matter what," he says "they want your quirk and they aren't going to give it up easily". you sigh knowing he had a point. "okay" you give in. Keigo walked outside with the others and showed them around. You went to your stew and checked on it, you turn it off and take it off the heat. you sat on the couch and wait for Keigo to come back.

~Hawks POV~

I sigh going back to the house 'damn Hound dog asking so many questions' i groan and walk into the house seeing Y/n sleeping on the couch. I smile and adjust her so she's laying down on the couch, 'if she needs to run it'd be better to let her sleep for a little bit'. I walk to the kitchen and see the stew, I grab the ladle and eat a bit out of the pot, my wings twitch and I turn around shooting a feather towards the couch. "hey there careful with thoes" my eyes narrow seeing Dabi hovering over y/n. "leave now" I growl. "shh wouldn't want to wake up the princess would we" he says grinning. "Overhaul has another plan, just pretend you weren't here and I won't have to kill you," I said stepping forward. Dabi chuckles "you still think this is about Overhaul's grand scheme," his hand grazing her cheek. "No this became something else when you decided not to bring us this perfect specimen".

I shoot another feather hitting his hand "I said back off". Dabi laughs "Well aren't your feathers in a bunch" he starts to pick up y/n before I'm able to charge him I hear stomping and growling, Hound dog runs in through the window, I go out to reach for y/n but she quickly moves her hand telling me to stop. "great you have a pet," Dabi says "guess ill get going Kurogi--" Y/N kicks Dabi rolling over the couch almost in synch Hound dog tackles Dabi into the wall, breaking through.

"Epithymia!" I help her up "it's okay, I heard you talking," she says standing up, she runs to Hound Dog I follow behind her seeing him holding his arm. I look up and see Mr.Compress in the room instead of Dabi. "well well well you must be the target" I hide Y/N behind me. "careful his quirk screwed up my arm" Hound Dog growls, "if it wasn't for you Epithymia I'm sure this would be more painful." I take a glance back 'she must have used her quirk to draw Hound Dog to us he's probably running off sheer adrenaline at this point'. I look back at Mr.Compress, he's holding something in his hand.  Outside I hear Ectoplasm fighting as well. "well I think we'll be taking her from you" He raises his hand before he's able to release the ball in his hand I shoot it with a feather, smoke filling the room as it decompresses. 'shit,' i turn around pull y/n towards me. I hear glass break and not only does Hound Dog go berserk breaking through the wall but I hear howling all around us "Go!' Y/n pushes me towards Hound Dogs crater. I grab her and barley able to get off the ground fly us out into the clear outdoors. she sighs in relief "I threw a Vial forcing him to attack through the wall, but I'm not sure how many more times I can control him before I start making him feral" she explains. I try to fly us out further but my wings start giving up 'crap' I manage to turn myself over wrapping y/n in my arms as I hit the ground.

"Hawks!" I groan "it's fine it's not my first crash landing," I say before y/n is able to get up all the Toga attacks swinging a knife. "Epithymia!" I get up and look for them "We've been looking for you~" Toga says in a sing-song voice. I watch Y/N go toe to toe with Toga I groan and shoot a feather a Toga's hand knocking her knife out of it Y/N immediately tackling her into the ground "Careful Epithymia she's going fro blood" I say running towards them, just as I reach her, I  see a wrap gate form around them both 'No I won't let them take you away' i force my wings to the limit getting just enough to fly and grab her from its range. I groan rolling onto the ground holding her in my arms.  Ectoplasm running into us with clones following him "Get up, there's too many of them and Hound Dog is holding them off so you can escape"

Y/N grabs my hand pulling me up "are you okay?!" she asks I nod and look at Ectoplasm "I can't fly not like this", "we'll stall them I'm sure Hound Dog alone has made enough noise for other's to show up, take her and run get to the safe house we spoke of" Before he's able to finish his sentence a blue flame engulfs one of the clones. "Y/N! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?" Dabi yells cynically. "Go!" Ectoplasm yells sending his clones towards Dabi. I grab y/n hand and start running, I can feel her digging through her satchel.

~Y/N POV~

you dig through 'come on come I can't let Ectoplasm take him alone' a million thoughts running through your head at once you pull out a vial and toss it behind you, A loud thud is heard in the background, "what did you do?" he questions weaving through the forest trying to reach the fence's end. "Just sent some help, the brown bears won't hurt Ectoplasm but they sure as hell won't let Dabi off easy". You look up and see Mt.Lady along with a few other pros going in to help. Everyone was doing everything they could to protect you and you were running away. You shake your head 'no, I need to stay away or I'll be the reason All might falls' you try to put the whole thing into perspective. Just as the fences end come into view you see a Nomu jump down from a tree and tackle Keigo. You stop in your tracks he had his wings pushing back holding it off "RUN!" he screams but your legs wouldn't move. "Y/N RUN!" he shouts again his wings struggling to hold off the Nomu, you clench your teeth and start running away.

Keigo falls back the Nomu grabbing him by the arm and squeezing, Keigo's screams filling the air. He shoots some feathers into its arm falling down as it loosens its grip. He gets up and flys up enough to get out of Nomu's reach. He dives down attacking with his feather blades. The Nomu, however, grabs him by the leg throwing him onto the ground. Keigo lets out another gut-wrenching scream, his wings hitting the ground immobilizing him. The Nomu walks up to him and grabs his head lifting him.

"STOP!" you running in towards it throwing a vial of pheromone at it. It screeches dropping Keigo to the ground, the pheromone not only confusing it but the glass hitting its eye. You run to Keigo seeing him in so much pain, his wings flattened behind him. The Nomu screeched jumping towards you "I SAID STOP!" you scream a dark pheromone leaving your body, the Nomu falls back looking at you curiously, the scent was horrid. You held Keigo's hand he was unconscious from hitting the ground so hard. Another Nomu approached ready to attack without a word you look at it making it stop as well. You Stand up and protectively stand in the way of them and Keigo. You smile and lift up Keigo with an arm over your shoulder. 

You walked back to the house slowly carrying Keigo, Toga and Mr.compress come at you "Attack" you command the Nomu screech and attack them back, "great Kurogiri! Get us out of here!" Mr.compress yells grabbing Toga and compressing her taking her away. A warp gate forms and Mr.compress takes off into it.  You eventually run into the pros fighting the other members of the league "assist them" you command sending the Nomu's in to aid the pros. You groan feeling lightheaded "Epithymia?! what happened" Ectoplasm runs to you helping you carry Keigo. "A Nomu ambushed us, he's really hurt," you explain trying to stay focused. "Where's Dabi?" you ask looking Ectoplasm in the eyes "Seems the main members got away we managed to capture all the rookies", you fall down "you need to capture the Nomu before I lose control" you manage to say. Ectoplasm sends a clone to relay the message. "we need to get you and Hawks patched up" you shake your head "I'm fine I just need to rest, he needs medical that thing was ready to kill him" you say "Recovery girl is on her way, Hound Dog also got some bad injuries, that frenzy you put him in made him a walking tank he tried taking everything on even if he only had one arm to do so" you look around for Hound Dog "I didn't want to use him but I panicked." you look around seeing the destruction brought onto Keigo's home. The horrid smell and pheromone subsiding.

                                                      -Later that night-

A few heroes stayed behind making quick repairs to the house, You sat on the bed next to Keigo, recovery girl did everything she could, his wings were looking normal and the bruising on his arm and head where gone. However, you couldn't erase that memory from your head seeing him risk it all to let you escape. You shudder trying to think about something else. You had a few bags packed and Kitaro was in a travel kennel. "as soon as Hawks wakes up we're relocating you to another safe house outside of all the main cities" you hear thoes words ring through your head over and over. you pull your knees to your chest and look at Keigo resting. he looked so peaceful. you sigh fighting back tears. you rest your head on your knees "I'm sorry they hurt you" you mumble slowing tears running down your cheek.

you feel something touch your leg, you turn your head and see Keigo watching you. "what the hell happened?" he asks, you smile crying some more hugging him tightly. "H-hey what's going on? why are you crying?" he asks sitting up before your able to say anything Ectoplasm walks in.

"it's time to go"
