A/N:  From here we are following the movie Hero's rising if you haven't seen it yet there are spoilers in here, I highly recommend watching the movie if you can otherwise I'm sorry if that ruins these next few chapters for you!

-A month later-

"What are you planning to do today Bakugo? All the others have been running around doing jobs but you seem content sitting over there reading the same magazine" You say sitting on the back porch cutting up some watermelon. "What does it matter nothing has been worth me going out there to help" he grumbles his face still buried in his magazine. You roll your eyes "at least get your butt over here and help a pregnant woman cut up all this fruit for you guys" you say in a teasing manner. Bakugo sets the magazine down "you needing help, you'll be having that damn kid and still try to work." he says as he gets up you throw a piece of the watermelon skin at him. "get over here before I throw a watermelon at you" you say trying not to hurt him.

"Hey L/N how much longer do you have?" Kirishima asks from across the room. You put the knife down "any day now honestly, I'm thinking by the time we get back I'll be ready as long you kids don't stress me into it" you say smiling. "Whoa, aren't you worried Hawks won't be there for your baby's birth?" Mina asks surprised. "Honestly with his work schedule and how bad he is at picking up his phone I don't know if he would be there regardless of me being here. He at least gets a pass since it'd take him forever to get here even if he flew" you say going back to cutting the watermelon. "On the plus side I don't think this ogre over here is gonna let me out of his sights, it's secretly why he won't go out on jobs," you say teasing Bakugo.

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU NOTHING HERE IS WORTH MY TIME YOU DAMN HAG" Bakugo starts shouting, everyone starts laughing. "all alright whatever you say. Come on guys I got some watermelon and apples over here eat up so you can keep on going" you say trying to get up. You feel someone taking your arm and help you up, you turn your head "Oh! Hi Deku your back" you say getting up "Yeah we found the missing kid, but it was a strange interaction." he says stepping back. You let out a sigh "Yeah? What happened?" you ask rubbing your belly. "His sister called but she was more curious about how fast we were going to show up," Deku explains. "Oh weird, sorry Deku I need to get some air, I'm feeling a little claustrophobic right now," you say exasperated. Bakugo gets up and grabs your other arm "Start walking Deku!" he says annoyed. The boys start helping you outside. "Kirishima! Can you get her some water" Deku asks as you three walk by.

Deku and Bakugo sit you outside "Do you need anything else?" Deku asks worriedly. You shake your head taking in some fresh air. Kirishima walks out and gives you a bottle of water. "Thanks, Kirishima" Deku looks over and sees a boy peeking over the fence, "s-sorry I'll be right back!" he says running off. Bakugo sighs and crouches down next to you. "You know you look really pathetic right now," he says scratching the back of his neck.  "I know but you can only do so much when your body is growing a human inside of it," you say drinking your water "It's amazing and scary don't get me wrong but at the same time, I wonder if I'm cut out for this."

Bakugo shakes his head "Didn't you mess up that burnt idiot, weren't you the one that took down some of the league's stronger villains. I don't know exactly what you're going through but you're strong and that bird brain of yours is stubborn. Your kid is going to kick ass just like you two." You chuckle "I think that's the nicest thing you said to me this whole time" you rub your belly and smile, without warning you grab Bakugo's hand and place it on your belly.  "hey! what are you doing?!" he asks embarrassed. "shh" you hush him and move his hand "You're going to scare them if you shout like that" you move his hand a little more. Bakugo's hand tenses up before resting where your baby was kicking. "doesn't that hurt?" he asks looking at your belly.

You shake your head "no it's startling at times but it's a nice reminder of what I'm working towards right now" you say letting him feel your baby. Bakugo looks tense and uncomfortable "relax will you, I'm not gonna break if you set your hand down that baby is fine. You're freaking me out seeing you that tensed up"  he sighs and relaxes his posture, and rubs your belly gently "Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?" he asks. You shake your head "No, we wanted it to be a surprise honestly, as silly as that sounds." Bakugo looks at you "I think it's a girl" he says confidently. You chuckle "Oh yeah? what's your reasoning?" you ask curious of what nonsense is about to come out of his mouth. "You're always eating sweet foods, my mom said that when a pregnant woman is constantly eating sweet stuff it's a girl but when they're eating salty foods it's a boy, last I checked you're constantly snacking on fruits and candies," he says confidently.

You burst out laughing "s-sorry but that sounds like an old wife's tale to me" He groans "that's the last time I'll try being nice to you" he grumbles standing up and walking away. You sit there and try to stop laughing. You look at your belly "whatever happens I think you'll kick his butt in the future."

~Nines POV~

"I finally found it, don't worry I won't kill you. But I will take your quirk" He grabs Shimano by the head a blue aura coming out of him. Shimano struggles groaning in pain before passing out and falling. Nine lets go of him letting him drop. Nine looks over and starts using his weather quirk making lightning strike and causes multiple fires in the city. He groans and falls to his knees, he covers his face while Slice runs over to him "what's the matter?" Nine groans looking at his hands. "t-this quirk it doesn't work on type B blood.."

Chimera frustrated shouts "After all this work, we're back at square one?!" Slice smiles picking up a phone from the ground "No! there's still a chance," she says seeing a video with two kids on the screen. Nine looks at the phone "you're right.
