Silk

You didn't rip me apart at the seams

Though you might as well had

You took your time

Clipping string after string

Making sure there where no loose ends

That the ties where knotted tight

Two pieces of silk

You where left standing with

They represented before and after

One was white

One was black

The white one turning red

The black one burning turning into ashes

White

Innocence

Me before I met you

Black

Emptiness

Me after I met you
