I swim towards the edge of the pool and the boy who waved grabs my arm and helps me up. As fast as I get up our eyes lock and I stare in too his Sea Green eyes they are beautiful and remind me of someone else I know.

"You okay?" He asks and I'm speechless until I see the girl with blond hair give me the death stare.

"Uhm yeah, thanks!" I say and turn to look at my feet.

"Your welcome!" The girl says but still has the fire in her eyes.

"What was that thing?" I ask seeking some type of logical explanation. "I mean other than not being my teacher."

"It's kind of hard to explain but just putting it out there so that you understand a little." The boy says but is interrupted but the boy with goat hooves.

"It's a big monster that is trying to kill you." He blurts out and my mind fills with thousands of more questions.

"Grover!" The girl shouts and Grover jumps.

"Sorry!" Grover mumbles and turns to look somewhere else.

"Just forget about that. I'll introduce us, I'm Annabeth. This is Grover." She says and points to the boy with hooves. "And this is Percy." She says and point to the boy who helped me get out of the pool.

"I'm Laura." I say.

"Well Laura, do you know what this man-eating monster wanted with you." He says and gives Grover a stare who turns the other direction.

"She says she wanted a golden trident necklace." I say. "I kept repeating that I didn't have it hoping that she would leave me alone. But I was lying, I do have it." I say and take the necklace out of my shirt.

Annabeth and Percy look at each other and then turn back to me. A chill runs down my back. Maybe I wasn't supposed to tell the either, what if they want it as well. I take a step towards the door and Percy sees right though me.

"We don't want your necklace." He says with a comforting tone. "We just want you to be safe."

"And right now, this is the least safe place." Annabeth continues. "Monsters will be coming back."

"You mean there are more of those ugly creatures?"

"Thousands more." Percy says and I can feel myself become dizzy. THOUSNADS? How come I never knew anything about this?

"Well what are we waiting for lets go!" Grover shouts and heads towards the door with Annabeth whiles Percy follows me to my bag.

"What about my mum?" I say.

"She will be fine. She is safer when you are not around her." He says, and I nod. "Lets go before another few monsters appear."

We run towards the door and join Annabeth and Grover. I know I just met these three but I feel like destiny has something important for us and for now I trust them with my life.
