5 months later...

July 5th

3:30pm

It was late Wednesday afternoon and Andre popped up at his moms crib to check on his family since he haven't been here in a long time. Due to him dealing with working and spending time with Evelyn he barley came over here. So since he had no plans today he decided to pop up.

He used his spare key he head and opened the door to see his little sister watching tv.

"Oh hey long lost brother" Selena smiled.

"You got jokes" He chuckled. "Wassup, where mama?"

"She's in the kitchen making a pound cake. When you gone let us meet her?" She asked referring to Evelyn

"Soon. I promise. Ill be back though I need to talk to mama about something"

"Okay"

Andre headed to the kitchen to see his mama mixing something up in a bowl.

"Wassup mama"

"We'll look who it is.. my long lost son" She smiled.

"Chill out" He walked over to her giving her a hug.

"Hey baby. How you been?" She kissed his cheek.

"I been good. Working and spending time with Evelyn"

Shelia smiled. She don't remember the last time she has seen her son smile about a woman but she loved every bit of it.

"It's been 7 months and I still haven't met her." She gave him a look.

"I'm working on it ma." He chuckled. "I actually gotta talk to you about something though"

"Okay I'm listening"

"Aight so Evelyn birthday is this Friday. I wanna plan a party for her. I already talked with her best friend about helping me and she said she would so I was wondering if you could too. "

"I'd love to help you baby. That means I'll finally get to meet her"

Andre chuckled. "You will ma. But it's also something else I'm wanting to ask.."

"Okay.."

"I wanna ask Evelyn to be my girlfriend also"

Shelia held her hand over her heart. "Oh wow.. you really do like her"

"Nah I think I'm in love with her" He spoke seriously.

"Oh lord my baby is in love" She cooed.

"Chill ma.." Andre chuckled. "How you think I should do it?"

"Well what's the theme you doing for her party?"

"My club. I was thinking announce it in front of everybody but I feel like that ain't enough"

"That is enough and then maybe y'all can get y'all a hotel room afterwards for just y'all"

Andre smiled. "Yea I like that"

"Then it's settled. Friday you'll have the party at your club. Now I don't do clubs so I'll meet her the day after her birthday and we can go to lunch"

"Aight that's cool. So that's what ima do"

"Sounds good. "

Andre was about to say something else until his phone vibrated. He pulled his phone out his pocket to see it was Evelyn and he smiled. He unlocked his phone and went to his message thread to text her back.

He smiled locked his phone putting it back in his pocket. He looked up to see his mama smiling.

"My baby so in love. I love it" She smiled.

"Yea it's safe to say she the one"

"Well if she's the one why we ain't met her yet?" Selena asked coming in the kitchen.

"You and mama meeting her Saturday so shut up"

"Oh okay that's what I thought. And she better be pretty"

"She fine as hell matter fact. "

"We will see"

Andre buckled at Selena making her roll her eyes.

"Y'all stop. " Shelia said sternly.

"Ma how long it's gone take for you to bake this cake?"

"It's one already over there finished go ahead and get you a couple slices and get some from Evelyn."

"Alright"

Andre washed his hands and dried them off. He went to the table and opened the cake cover. He grabbed the knife that was already in there and starting cutting.

"How many pieces can I cut?"

"However many you want. I have another one about to put in the oven"

"Bet"

Andre cut a total of 8 slices and then put the cake cover back over it. He went to the sink to wash the knife off and then put it on top of cake cover. He grabbed a to go plate and put the cakes that were on the napkins in the plate.

"Alright ma it's almost time for Evelyn to get off so ima see you Saturday"

"Alright baby. Tell Eve I said hello"

He walked over to her and kissed her forehead and then walked out the kitchen. He walked back into the living room where his sister was watching tv.

"Alright peanut"

"Bye duck face" Selena said and Andre chuckled.

He walked out the door closing it and headed to his car. He unlocked his car and got in putting the cake on the passenger seat. He started his car up and pulled out the driveway heading to Evelyn house.

Andre has been at Evelyn house for about 30 mins now. He was sitting on the couch watching tv while she was taking a shower.

"Okay I'm back now" Evelyn said and Andre turned around and smiled admiring how good she looked.

Evelyn had on some tights and a white t-shirt. Over the few months of them talking she got use to showing her skin a little more. She looked good to Andre even without trying.

"Wassup mama" He smiled.

"Nothing. I'm tired and my feet hurt really bad. Me being in the shower for so long didn't help either" She sighed sittin on the couch.

"Put your feet up here"

Evelyn put both her feet on Andre and he started to massage one foot at a time.

"Thank you.. that feels so good.." She threw her head back.

Andre chuckled. "You welcome mama. Now tell daddy about your day"

Evelyn chuckled. "You want me to call you daddy so bad"

"Hell yea but I ain't worried about it. You gone be calling me that soon" He smirked.

"Whatever we'll see" She chuckled.

"We will. But nah for real ma. Tell me about your day"

Evelyn sighed. "Where should I start? I had a lot of rude customers and then Ana had a attitude for no reason today"

"What?" Andre furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah.. she never has attitudes with me so it was weird.."

"How was she talking to you?" He asked starting to massage the other foot.

"She was just telling me to do stuff harshly, rushing me.. stuff she never did before"

Andre frowned. He didn't know what was going on with Ana. He was gone make sure he talked with his cousin about that.

"It's okay though. Maybe today was just a bad day" She shrugged.

"Probably so baby. " Andre responded.

"What about you?" She asked. "What did you do today?"

"Well I'm glad you asked." He smiled and Evelyn chuckled. "I handle some business early this morning and then went to my mama crib to talk to her about sum. She was making cake and I got us both 4 pieces each cause my mama can make the best cakes.

Evelyn chuckled. "What kind of cake did she make?"

"Pound cake. The best pound cake ever. "

"I gotta try it then. "

"Yea you better for I eat yours and mines"

"You better not!" She gasped.

Andre chuckled. "Anyways your birthday coming up. 22 ain't it?" He smiled.

"Yes! 22 beautiful years of living. I'm ready for my birthday but I don't have any plans for it"

"Well what do you wanna do?"

"I don't know. I just wanna have so much fun and just live"

"I feel you. Well we can think of something ight?"

"Okay" She smiled.

Evelyn had no clue that Denise and Andre were planning something big for her 22nd birthday and Andre wanted to keep it that way. He wanted her to be clueless as possible.

"So who's turn is it to cook?" He smirked.

"Ugh shut up. Don't remind me"

Evelyn and Andre been taking turns cooking whenever they were with each other. They both wanted to slow down with eating out so they started to cook more. Evelyn was really surprised that Andre could actually cook. She loved his cooking and wanted him to cook every time now but she had to stick to the bet they made.

"You tired so I'll cook mama. What did you take out?"

"Thank you so much! I owe you literally. But I took out hamburger meat. So it's either hamburgers or spaghetti.. it doesn't matter which one"

"Hamburgers. If I can't eat out might as well cook them"  Andre shrugged.

"True" She chuckled.

"Alright mama lemme go get started on this" He tapped her leg so he could get up.

"Kiss first" She smiled.

He chuckled and leaned in pecking her lips twice.

"Hold on.." He pecked her lips again. "Your lips taste like strawberries" He licked his lips.

"I put strawberry chapstick on. It's healthy for your lips"

"Gimme sum of that shit. A nigga lips been chapped" He said standing up and stretching.

"Yea I was gone tell you but.." She starched her neck and he smacked his lips.

"Girl you love these soft sexy plump lips. Stop playing wit me" He leaned down pecking her lips again.

"Stooppp for you make mines hard" She giggled.

"Bye man" He smacked his lips and walked into the kitchen.

Evelyn laughed and got on her phone until he came back.

It was going on about 8:30pm and they were both chilling in bed. Andre was laying between Evelyn's legs while watching tv.

As Evelyn was strolling through twitter a message from Denise popped up on her phone.

"Andreee!" Evelyn squealed making Andre jump.

"Evelyn now why the fuck you do that shit in my damn ear?"

"I'm sorry! Denise is pregnant!"

He sat up and looked at Evelyn.

"Say you lying" He smiled.

"Yes she's pregnant she sent me the test and everything.

Evelyn phone started to vibrate and she looked down to see it was Denise. I quickly answered it putting it on speaker.

"Evelyn you didn't really tell him did you?" Denise laughed.

"Um yes why wouldn't I?"

"Cause sis it's a prank. I told her not to do that shit to y'all. Mont chuckled in the background.

"I know y'all didn't just get my baby like that" Andre chuckled.

"Y'all are evil people." Evelyn pouted. "I really thought I was about to be a god mama and here y'all are playing. "

"You and I both know I ain't popping no kids out no time soon.. I'm sorry bestie. Denise chuckled.

"Y'all had my baby too happy. She screamed in my damn ear and everything. If I can't hear outta my ear nomo I'm blaming y'all niggas"

"Not you screaming bestie.. I might have to really get pregnant" Denise laughed.

"No you are mean. I wouldn't do you like that"

"I know you wouldn't cause you would really be pregnant" Denise chuckled.

"Go to hell. You and Montavious. Goodbye" Evelyn said hanging up.

"Mama it's okay. " Andre chuckled.

"No it's not cause I was really happy. I been begging her to have a baby since forever and she wanna play" Evelyn pouted.

"Mama" Andre chuckled.

"Oh you agree with them? You think playing jokes like that is funny when I was happy as hell?"

"It wasn't funny.. I'm sorry" He smirked.

"Get away from me" Evelyn rolled her eyes and picked up her phone.

"No gimme this. When we talking we don't do that phone shit ight"

Evelyn nodded.

"You know I don't ever wanna see you mad or sad so I'm sorry for laughing mama"

"It's okay.." Evelyn mumbled.

"Ima beat them up for you I promise"

Evelyn smiled.

"See that's the smile I love to see." He chuckled. "Gimme a kiss"

Evelyn pecked Andre lips twice and smiled.

"Sexy ass. " Andre smiled.

"No thats you. Just so fine.."

"And you are too. Always remember that shit okay"

"Okay" She smiled.
