"Hurry up Eleanora! We are going to be late!" My best friend Rachel yells form the doorstep.

"Do I have to go? I have homework I am supposed to catch up on." I yell back.

"Come on! You have to stop being so serious all the time. It's your birthday!" Rachel argues. "You are only 18 once."

"It was my birthday last week! Don't you remember?" I say as I walk to the front door.

I am wearing a white crop top and jean shorts because it is the middle of the summer. Normally I wear different more casual clothes but Rachel  bought this for me, insisting that I wear it to the movies.

"Yea but in my mind this is your party! Going out, taking a break, making out with hot guys in the bathroom..." She starts.

"Stop! I will come as long as you stop talking!"

"Sounds good with me!"

Once we get to the movie theater we find our usual spot up at the front near the screen. We take a seat and within a minute Rachel gets back up again.

"We need popcorn." She decides

"Really?" I ask annoyed. "We just sat down!"

"Fine, you just stay here and be boring while I go and get delicious popcorn. Don't leave with a guy until I get back!" She jokes. I roll my eyes

"I wouldn't worry." I respond.

She leaves and I am left alone. The movie turns on and it is some stupid cartoon that doesn't even have any plot. There is so much better things I could be doing right now. Like doing my homework. I think to myself.

After about 5 minutes Rachel still isn't back because there is a huge line for the popcorn. A bunch of really loud greaser boys come and sit right behind me. I roll my eyes and look back at the movie. Not that I can hear anything anyway, these greasers are so loud!

I am middle class so I don't really care for either greasers or Socs. I just want to mind my own business. All they ever do is uselessly fight all the time. I just don't get the point.

"Hey there babe. How about we get of here?" One of them suddenly slides into the chair beside me. He has icy eyes and a smirk plastered on his face.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. Go try some other broad, just leave me alone." I snap.

"Ooh, I found a feisty one. Are you like that in bed to?" He rudely asks.

"Leave her alone Dally." A big, strong greaser says. "Sorry about him. He wouldn't know any manners if they slapped him in the face."

"Wow Eleanora! Picking up boys without me!" As always Rachel has great timing. "Who is this?" She asks as if just noticing Dally now.

"Dallas Winston. Don't get to excited about him he is all bark and no bite." The guy with movie star looks says.

"Hey! I could rip off your head if I wanted to!" Dally shoots back.

"Guys can we just watch the movie?" A quiet guy that I have occasionally seen in the library asks.

"Come on guys just focus try to be normal for once in your life!" A cute guy with a mickey mouse shirt says laughing. "Did that work for you Darry?"

"Shut it Two-Bit!" The big and strong guy responds.

Two-bit comes down and sits next to me. Honestly I don't really mind. He's really cute but I would never tell Rachel. I would never hear the end of it!

"Haven't seen you around before. Where you from?" Two-Bit asks me

"I live in the middle class section. I like being away from all the fights. There is no use to them. Your a greaser right?" I ask politely

"Hey, now don't you hate on us. It's those damned Socs that start all the fights. They are always jumping us left, right and center. But hey! At least us greasers know how to have a great party!" He argues.

"Partying isn't everything you know." I respond back.

"Well that is because you have never been to a greaser party. There is lots of booze, loud music and tonnes of fun! How 'bout I take you to one right now?" He asks.

"I don't know. I have to..." I start.

"She would love to! I'm Rachel by the way." Rachel rudely interrupts.

"Alrighty then! Let's go!" Two jumps up and pulls me with him. I reluctantly follow.

We head to this place called Bucks. You can here the music from a mile away and there is tons of people coming in and out of the building.

As I walk in I am faced with lots of girls with too much makeup and too little clothes. The boys are hitting on all the girls. Honestly it doesn't seem like something I will enjoy.

"Come on you'll love it!" Two-bit pressures me to follow him in.

Believe it or not I had a great time. It has been so long since I have last let myself go loose that I almost forgot how to. I drink beer sing loud to songs even if I don't know the words. I go upstairs and wake up next to Two-bit the next morning.

"Hey beautiful. How's it going?" Two asks as I open my eyes.

"Hey. Wait, today is a Friday! I still have one more day of school! Oh my god this is going to be awful! I am going to fail..." I ramble on until Two-Bit places a kiss on my lips.

"That sure worked. You need to relax and take a day off. You deserve it."

"Know what screw it!" I exclaim and press my lips against his.

Me and Two-Bit stay together and he always makes me more relaxed and I keep him grounded. We are perfect and I hope that one day I end up marrying him.
