You were really bad at arcade games.

Like REALLY bad.

Bad to the point where it can't even be considered funny. Just pitiful.

Your boyfriend, Jyushimatsu, on the other hand, was GREAT at arcade games (but to be fair, he was good at everything he did).

And an you guess where he took you on a date?

If you said "the arcade", you are correct.

You trotted around the arcade, a little nervous to play a game and embarrass yourself in front of the other people in the arcade. Jyushimatsu was by your side, trying to help you find something easy to play. He held your hand firmly, making you a bit flustered but all in all happy.

"What about this one?" He asked, pulling you over to a machine with a crank. "All you do is pull the lever and the thing inside spins and eventually lands on a ticket amount!"

You nodded shyly and inserted your tokens. There was a similar machine next to you, so while you worked yours, Jyushimatsu used the one next to you.

After lifting up the crank, you pushed it back down with such force and watched as the wheel inside spun around.

"Come on! Come on!" You crossed your fingers as it began to slow down.

It was looking like it was about to land on 1000 tickets and you started freaking out. Just as it slowed on the 1000, it moved just a millimeter onto the 5 ticket prize.

You groaned.

"Jyushimatsu this thing is rigged!" You whined as you looked at your boyfriend.

He was as wrapped head to toe in tickets.

"Look! I got 1000!" He beamed, making you a bit jealous but happy for him. "How much did you get?"

You stared down at your hand. "I got 5!"

He chuckled and looked for a midpoint in his tickets before snapping it in half and handing you a bunch of tickets.

"You can have some of mine! Here!"

You stared at him with wide eyes. "No! You earned those, so you should keep them!"

He smiled wider if possible and wrapped the tickets he was offering around your neck gently. After that, he pressed a sloppy kiss to your cheek and grabbed your hand to take you to the next game.

"I love you, (y/n)-chan!" He said out of nowhere.

You looked at him and smiled, your face going red. "I love you too, J-Jyushimatsu!"

He grabbed your torso and picked you up, spinning you around before bringing you back down for a hug. Your cheek rested against his chest and his chin stayed on the top of your head.

"Haha! You're so red! You look so cute!" He poked your cheek after he pulled away from the hug.

"S-Stop....." You begged, looking down at your feet. He ruffled your hair and laughed.

"How about this one?" He asked as he pulled you over to a clown pelting game.

"I'm not very strong...." You giggled, swinging your and his hand.

He laughed and inserted some tokens. "I'm sure you are. I'll help you!"

The rubber balls came out at the bottom of the machine and both you and him reached for one to pelt the clown with. You watched as Jyushimatsu successfully pelted every clown he could. He paused and looked at you. There was one clown left.

"Come on! Your turn!" He handed you a ball.

Nervously, you pulled your arm back and aimed towards the clown. This was the last ball, the last clown, and the last 10 seconds of the game.

You threw the ball with as much force as you could and cheered when it knocked the clown over.

"YAY!" You smiled as you jumped up and down.

"See? I said you could do it!" He hugged you again. "Which game do you want to do now?"

You looked around the arcade and then back down at your final few tokens.

"What about air hockey?" You suggested, not really confident.

"Sure!" He pulled you over to the table and put in the last bit of tokens.

The two of you spent excessive amounts of time at the air hockey table, Jyushimatsu, as predicted, winning the game.

"Go (y/n)-chan!" He cheered for you, making you nervous.

You hit the puck and watched as it went into Jyushimatsu's side. Whether he let you score or not, you were glad that you got a point. The machine announced 'game over' and dispensed the tickets.

"Good job, Jyushi-kun!" You congratulated your boyfriend as you walked over to the prize counter.

"Here let me see your tickets!" He held out his hand and you have him your winnings.

He combined both of your tickets which totaled to 2,386.

"What do you want?" He asked you, pointing to the prize wall.

Your eyes grew wider. "Oh! Just pick something for yourself! You deserve it!"

He eyes you up and down carefully before turning to the attendant.

"Can I have that giant teddy bear?" He asked the woman behind the counter.

She nodded and climbed a step stool to get the stuffed animal.

"You have 886 tickets left!" She beamed as she handed Jyushimatsu the bear.

He shoved the bear in your arms, making you fall back.

"Ah! Sorry (y/n)-chan!" He cried as he lifted you up. "Any other prize that you want?"

You eyed a baseball bat that looked pretty nice and asked the attendant for it which she happily gave to you.

"Ooh good choice!" Jyushimatsu boasted.

"Yeah. Here you go!" You handed him the bat, making him tear up.

"Thank you!" He placed another messy kiss on your cheek before hugging you.

The attendant fangirled at the two of you. "You guys are literally the most adorable couple ever!"

You twirled your hair anxiously and thanked the woman before wishing her a good night. You and your boyfriend left the arcade.

"Thank you for the date, Jyushimatsu-Kun! I had a lot of fun!" You said as the two of you entered the car, him in the drivers' seat and you in the passengers' seat. The prizes were in the back.

"I had fun too!" He smiled, looking you in the eyes.

He leaned over to your side and got closer to your face. "You're so pretty! Can I kiss you?"

You chuckled at his pureness and nodded. He placed both of his hands on either of your cheeks before pressing his soft lips on yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer to you. After a while, the two of you pulled away, lips not even a centimeter apart. You could feel the warm breath emitting from his lips onto yours.

Gently, you pulled him in for a hug and the two of you stayed like that for a few minutes.

"I love you so much...." You whispered.

"Haha! I love you too!" He practically yelled before kissing you again.

You chuckled after you pulled away. "Let's go!"

He nodded and put the car in drive. The two of you rode back home, holding hands the entire way.

You may have sucked at arcade games, but to you, spending time with Jyushimatsu was all that really mattered.
