5 years later...

  "Athanasia! I think my mates near by!" Luke said ruffling his hair and jumping around.

  "That's amazing!" I replied.

  "What if she rejects me! What if she doesn't want me!" Luke said worrying.

  "Who the hell wouldn't want you! Your the beta for heaven's sake! They must be blind!" I rebutted.

  "What if they wanted an alpha!?" Luke continued.

  "Technically you are an alpha. Go and find her already!" I shoved Luke outside his room.

  Luke smelled something and locked himself inside his room.

  I was sent up here to get him out of his room.

  "No! Athanasia you don't understand what if-"

  "What if they love you till your last breath... How would you know that unless you go and meet her." I pushed him down the stairs.

  Since I pushed him down he was going to go face first into the floor.

  And there was no way that was going to be his first impression.

  Using my whip I caught him so that he didn't hit the floor but was standing with his hand behind him since I had caught his left wrist.

  Luke had just come of age to find his mate.

  Which also means he just shifted.

  I shifted 3 years ago and didn't find my mate yet.

  Downstairs was a visit from another pack.

  Jennette and Jenny who are my cousins.

  Along with my uncle.

  Now you maybe wondering.

  I'm half beta half alpha.

  Shouldn't that make me the alpha since most people who are mates with alphas would move into their pack.

  Well my Dad was an alpha.

  But he was the alpha's younger brother.

  So he wouldn't get the alpha role.

  Therefore when he found my mum he moved into my mum's pack.

  Which is my current pack.

  The moon howler pack.

  And who is that big brother?

  Well its Jennette and Jenny's father.

  Their pack is called blood moon pack.

  Now you also would've noticed that I'm an orphan.

  That's the whole reason why I live with Luna, alpha, Luke and also Lucas who is still at training.

  "So which one is it?" I whispered.

  "Jennette..." Luke replied.

  "Well go on! Don't stand here like a fool!" I pushed him so he would start walking.

  "Um.. hi! I'm Luke, beta of moon howler pack." Luke extended his hand in an attempted to shake her hand.

  "Luke. I already know you! Why are you acting weird?" Jennette said like nothing had happened.

  "Ah.. right!" Luke said keeping his smile.

  "So... Jennette! How do you like your mate eh?" I asked.

  Jennette and I were decent friends.

  "Mate? You mean my mate is here?! Where?" Jennette's reply threw both me and Luke off.

  Luke looked absolutely heart broken.

  "Nothing! We were just joking!" Luke said excusing himself from the table.

  "Is there something wrong delta?" Alpha of blood moon asked.

  "No... He's not normally like this..." I sighed.

  "So do we have a deal for peace?" Alpha of blood moon question.

  "I'm sorry alpha of blood moon, but there are some terms I don't agree with." I said sitting down.

  Normally Luke does this but since he isn't in the mood right now it was my job to take over.

  "You see, here you say 'Shall blood moon have danger moon howler would help the blood moons' but there isn't a condition saying that if we are in danger you have to help us." I argued.

  "Fine. If I add this condition in do we have a deal?" Alpha of blood moon asked.

  "Yes. Also for the warrior camps, I do request that it is held in between out two territories with the supervision on myself and gamma along with your delta and gamma too." I said.

  "Fine. We have a deal now?" Alpha of blood moon asked getting irritated with me.

  "Yes." I said sighing the paper.

  "Finally! Why is it so hard to bargain with you..." Alpha of blood moon sighed.

  "Sorry. I need to make sure that everything is perfect for my pack, when alpha come back I can't afford to have him be disappointed with how far our pack has come." I replied.

  "I still don't know how your alpha and Luna relaxes to put their beta, delta and Gemma in charge..."

  "What can I say. We trust each other." I replied getting up from my seat.

  Jennette was here because she is to see how an alpha should act.

  Jenny is here because she is the beta of the pack.

  "If you'll excuse me." I said bowing down.

  "Luke! Luke!" I screamed running around the house trying to find him.

  I found him huddled up in a corner.

  I found his wolf.

  His wolf was pitch black with a few spots of dark brown.

  His eyes were silver.

  "Lux... Come here..." I squatted down.

  The name Luke means Lux which means light.

  So his wolf is named Lux.

  Since it has the same meaning as his name.

  Lux snapped his mouth at me as a threat.

  "Lux... Please... If we can figure out what happened maybe we can fix it?" I suggested.

  I saw how his wood ears perked up.

  'Ill get my mate back?' Lux mind linked me.

  "Yes... If we can find what's wrong we can get your mate back... So calm down ok?" I talked softly hoping that it would sound soothing.

  His wolf shifted back to human him.

  "Here clothes." I looked behind and tossed clothes at him.

  "So where do you think we should start searching?" Luke asked.

  "Library." I replied.

  "If it was in the pack library I would've already read it..." Luke said.

  Luke here, is a bookworm.

  "I didn't say the pack library." I grinned.

  My family had a private library.

  "Let's go!" Luke said his mood perking up as he saw the light in his darkness.

  "First I need to see our guest out..." I said as I walked back into the living room.

  "Delta! I was thinking what horrible manners you have not escorting your guest out." Alpha of blood moon joked.

  "I sincerely apologize. I'll see you out right now." I leaded them to the door and opened it.

  I wasn't greeted with the outside like usual instead I was greeted by a black piece of clothing.

  I looked up.

  Red eyes...

  Raven hair...

  Lucas...

  "Mate..." We both mumbled.
