It's Saturday morning,Gab was sleeping peacefully when she heard loud voices and multiple knocks on her door.She's stood up,eyes half closed,hair disheveled,her left hand rubbing her face,the other hand holding the knob as she opens the door.

"You have a delivery!"

It was Grace holding a paper bag.

"What?I don't remember ordering online."

Confusion is visible on her face.She grab it and sit back to her bed,her sister followed her.

"The delivery guy told me to sign it so I did since he didn't asked for payment."

Gab opened the paper bag and see a note on top.

She thought.

She didn't expect that.

"What does it says?" Her sister asks trying to snatch the note from her.

"None of your business.Just go and help mom prepare our breakfast." she said swatting her sister's hand away.

"Do you have a new boyfriend?"

"I don't."

"Are you dating someone?"

"I'm not."

"What about a suitor?"

"None."

"Then you gave that to you?"

She looks at her sister with a look of annoyance.

"Can you just stop asking?"

"Can you just answer my question?" Her sister fire back imitating her tone.

"Why are you so stubborn?"

"Since when did you become secretive?"

"Moommm!!!" she screams.

Grace didn't waste any time before running downstairs laughing really hard that she could hear it from her room.

She pulled out the fabric and there goes a black dress waiting for her to wear it.
Amazed would be an understatement.It looks so expensive and for sure it is.She suddenly gets excited.But first,she has to work.

It's 5pm when Ced decided to send Gab a message.

"Almost done?I'm on my way." Sent.

"Still drying my hair.I'll be quick." Received.

But guess what?That was 30 minutes ago but she's still in her room.
One final look in the mirror,Ced get her purse and went straight to her car.She forgot to check the time.Now,she has to hurry.Mainly because Belle and her friends have been texting and calling her nonstop but her phone's on silent,but most especially,Gab texted her 10 minutes ago that's she's good to go.

She blamed herself for that because for some unknown reason,she wants to look good,no,
scratch that.She wants to look fabulous.

She arrived at Gab's place around 6:45pm.

"I'm here." Sent.

The rolling down of her car's window seem to went in slow motion as her surroundings became blurry and her eyes are focus on the beautiful scenery walking gracefully towards her.

Her grip on the steering wheel tighten.She didn't know.

The dress she gave looks so perfectly fit, highlighting the shape of her body,her hair in a messy top knot exposing her broad shoulders.

She watch her entering the car but she couldn't utter a word.Her eyes landed to Gab's lips but she couldn't understand what she's mumbling.

A snap of a finger got her back to her consciousness.

"Are you okay?" Gab asks sitting in the passenger seat.

"Yeah."

You're just so beautiful I couldn't help but get lost in your beauty.

She keeps that to herself.

Her phone rings showing Belle's name on the screen.

She put it on speaker as she turn the engine and started driving.

"Where on earth are you?"

She could hear the noises in the background letting her know that they are all in the club.

"On my way."

"You said that two hours ago!"

"Chill.We'll be there."

"We?Who are you with?"

She looks at Gab who also happens to be looking at her.

"I'm with a friend."

"Faster.Everyone's here."

She ended the call.

She's stuck in traffic and she's late but somehow she feels relax.She gaze at the girl beside her who's looking outside.

"You look great."

Shit!

The words she's been dying to keep slipped off her tongue.

She tries to show no emotion since that's the only thing left she has to do to not embarrass herself even more.Her eyes on the road as the light turns green.

"You look hot."

Fvck!

She almost hit the break.

When she thinks she can now control her reaction.She turns to look at Gab who's looking at her with her beautiful smile,but she couldn't find the words to say.

"Do you want to play a song?" Gab asks breaking the silence and their eye contact.

"Sure."

Their hands touch as they reach the power button of the radio.

Their eyes locked once again.

"I want to play some songs in my playlist,is it fine?"

"Of course." Ced said smiling removing her hands off.

The rest of the ride was filled with comfortable silence between the two.Only a music playing in the background.

A loud blasting music welcome them the moment they step inside the club.Bodies on bodies,sweats,smell of alcohol filled the room.
Feeling uncomfortable,Gab clings onto Ced's arm as the two fasten their pace trying to get themselves out of the situation.
A guy happened to bump to Ced which make her furious.

"Watch your step!"

"Sorry miss." said the guy.

"Tsk!"

After a few minutes,a staff lead them to their room upstairs,private,a little bit peaceful,but you can still see the people down below and the faint sounds outside.

"Did I miss something?" She speaks making her friends turn their gazes to her.

The two lovebirds sitting on the left couch are Julius,their classmate back in college,with his girlfriend Felize.Matthew is the one sitting at the back,on the right is Melody,their financial adviser who's also one of their closest friends with his boyfriend Rob.While Belle is near the table with her sister Kaylee,with her girlfriend,
Joan.

"The great Celine Del Hera is here!" Matthew said with a loud voice.

"Thought you'd ditch me." Said Belle playfully rolling her eyes.

They greet one another with either a hug,a tap on the shoulder,or a kiss on the cheeks.

"Who's this beautiful lady we have here sis?"
Asks Melody.

Their eyes land on Gab.

"Oh!Everyone she's Gab,a friend of mine." She said smiling.

They did the same greetings and gesture and make sure that no one will feel out of place.

"It's nice to finally meet you,Gab." It was Belle who gave her a quick hug.

"I hope this girl here is not giving you a headache like she always does to me." Looking at Ced.

Gab just smiled at her shaking her head.Since they're eager to party already,Kaylee started singing her sister a happy birthday and the rest followed.

Their gifts are place on the table along with the foods,drinks and cake.

"Make a wish!"

The birthday girl closes her eyes before blowing the candle.

"Happy Birthday!" The all screamed.

Julius and Rob pop the confetti they're holding.

"Now let's eat so we can party!" Belle exclaimed happily.

Gab and Ced are sitting beside each other while eating.

"Hope you're not feeling bored." It's Ced.

"I'm alright." Gab said with a reassuring smile.

"Do you want to join them downstairs later?"

"Aren't you joining them?"

"You wouldn't like to see me partying especially with alcohol in my system.
So I'll just stay here." Ced replied shoving the cherry in her mouth.

"Then,I'll stay here with you."

That sounded so sweet but that wasn't the case right after they finished eating.

Empty bottles scattered the room and the rest of the squad are downstairs dancing and laughing while Ced was left alone just staring down at the woman she was with awhile ago.

Apparently,Matthew asked to dance with Gab and her supposedly date,agreed.Perfect,right?

She didn't say anything even if it's against her will.

But for how long can she take it?Looking at the not so pleasing scene she's seeing.From her view,they look like they're kissing but Matthew is just saying incoherent words to Gab leaning a little too close because of the noise.

Gab is not drunk,and that's for sure.She couldn't say she feels uncomfortable dancing with Matthew neither,cause the guy is a gentleman,but if she's given the chance to choose,she prefers a less chaotic place than this.

"Your time is up,bro."

Ced couldn't remember how she got there but she found herself holding onto Gab's wrist,
pulling the woman next to her.

"Hey,you're killing the fun!Why don't you join us here instead?I'll get you a partner,wait."

Matthew roam his head doing exactly what he said but Ced stops him with an authoritative tone.You can also clearly see the seriousness in her eyes.

"No need.She's coming with me."

She said as she walks back to the room with Gab who remain silent still on her grip.

"Are you mad?" Gab finally speaks once they enter the room.

"No." She crosses her arms and pour the whiskey on the glass before drinking it.

"The way you acted awhile ago didn't seem like it."

"What are you talking about?" She sits on the couch staring darkly at the woman in front of her.

"You." It's heading towards her.

"Acted." Closer and closer.

"Like." She could smell her sweet perfume.

"A hot." Now on her lap.

"Jealous girlfriend." Whispering in her ear sending shivers all over her body.

"Hey,Ced!" Unnoticed.

"Ced?" Unheard.

"Celine!"

Fvck! What just happened?

She mentally cursed herself.The person in her imagination is standing innocently,looking like an angel in front of her.A total opposite of what's running inside her mind.

"Oh,hey!Sorry I zoned out." She said composing herself.

Gab sits beside her.

"I thought you're with Matt."

"I was,I saw you looking at us and I think you need more company than him."

Gab said giggling and drinking the cocktail Ced ordered awhile ago.

"Hhmm!This tastes better than the drinks there."

Bottoms up.

"Were you really serious about what you said the other day?"

But all she gets were cute giggles and slight push from Gab.

"You're drunk." She said when she noticed Gab's face now turning red.

"I'm not.I only had two shots of margarita
and a shot of cocktail.I just feel a little dizzy because of the crowd down there." Gab explained leaning her head on Ced's shoulder.

"You're not used to it?"

Gab shook her head.Ced gently puts her right arm on the woman's waist steadying her.

"Do you want to take a nap first or should I drive you home?It's getting late."

"What time is it?" Gab asks.

"Three minutes before one." Ced answers looking at her watch.

"I forgot to bring the keys." She pouts.

Even though she's quite dizzy and sleepy,she manage to get her phone to call her brother but got no response after 5 attempts.She dials her sister's number this time.Another 5,6,7,8,9,10 attempts,still nothing.She didn't call her mother since her mom puts her phone on silent before going to bed.

She sigh heavily and looks at Ced who's looking at her adorably.

"You can stay in my house tonight."

"Are you sure?"

"Why are you even asking?Of course."

The two of them stood up and meet Matthew on the aisle probably going upstairs.

"Leaving already?" He asks Ced but his eyes are glued on Gab.

"Yeah.Please look after my best friend,okay?"

"She's wasted!"

"Exactly why I'm asking you to."

"Easy there tiger!Fine.Drive safe.Take care you two." He taps Ced's shoulder.

"It was nice meeting you Gab,hope we'll see each other again." He smiled as he walks away.

"Don't mind him,he becomes aggressive when he's drunk."

They successfully left the place.Gab has fallen asleep during the ride.Ced on the other hand started playing music to keep herself awake.
