The sun starts to set when they arrive at the food hub,it's a quiet place that has a vintage vibe,Gab discovered the place when she was looking for a location for her shop but it's her first time to dine here.

They are sitting across each other on a small table waiting for their orders to come.

" I really love sunset. " It was Gab who breaks the silence.

Ced nod her head and look up to see the sky and so does Gab who's mesmerize by it.

" I agree,but why though? " Ced she asks.

Gab gave her a confusing look.

" I mean,some says they like sunset because it symbolizes that goodbyes can be beautiful. " She explained.

" Exactly the reason why I like it too.I've been in a traumatic situation before and I thought I couldn't get through it.I never thought a goodbye will bring me back to life. "

Ced is staring deeply in her eyes.She knew how it felt.Moving on is never easy,it will never be.There are times you feel like you're getting better then one day you feel like going back to the start.You thought the pain's gone until it comes back again without a warning and every single effort you've put in just feels pointless.

" Here's your order ma'am. " The waiter place their order.

They thanked them before they start eating their food.Gab ordered a steak, carbonara and mash potatoes while Ced ordered bowl of salad and a slice of cheesecake.

" You manage two flower shops? How do you handle that? " asks Ced.

" Uhm,actually the one in front of yours is my own,the other one is a family business,I let my younger sister manage it so she'll learn how to make money on her own. "

Ced just hummed.

" Do you usually go here? " She ask.
" It's actually my first time here,I actually had no idea where should I bring you but while we're on the road I felt my stomach growling,so here are we. " Gab said laughing a little.

" It's nice here,quiet,not crowded plus their foods are great.It's been awhile since I hang out with someone.My best friend will surely be proud of me if she finds out I'm here and with a company "

" Oh?Are you a homebody? "

" Nah,I like to work a lot. " Ced replied shortly not stating the whole reason yet.

After some chitchats and finishing their foods,they head back to their shops.

" Thanks for the ride. "

" No biggie.Enjoy the rest of the night. "

The exchange a smile before they enter their respective shops.

" You're friends with Ced? " It was Khate.

" You know her? " Gab asks her back.

" Well,not that much,but I once saw her in a club. "

Khate's reply got Gab's full attention.She didn't imagine a person like Ced,who's calm,quiet,and formal to be in a club.But who knows?Maybe she was with her friends or there was a celebration.

" I also heard she's a playgirl. " Khate added which make Gab laugh.

" You are the playgirl here,cous. " She said still laughing.

" True,but trust me.But it's not like you're hooking up with her,are you? "

" What the hell?We barely know each other,I mean we've met before but no,it's never about hooking up or flirting,it's a more serious note. "

" Well,I know you're not the type of person,cous.The same reason why you became so stupid with your stupid ex. "

" Ugrh!I'm over him,cous.I don't wanna remember those cringe stuffs also. "

She has moved on but she still feels uncomfortable talking about her ex who caused her no good.
She is arranging a customer's order online which she'll deliver after closing the shop.

" Speaking of him.I forgot to tell you.I know you don't care anymore but I saw him last week I guess? "

" So? "

" He asked me about you. "

" What did you tell him? "

" I said you're okay.He asked me if I could give him your number but I don't want to go home jobless so. "

" I like it when you use your brain,cous. "

Since they broke up,she doesn't want any connection with him anymore.She had an agreement to her family and friends but most especially to herself that the only way she'll ever speak to him again if they happen to see or meet each other again,not from some chats,texts,calls or anything,but as much as possible she wanted no conversation with him after everything he did.

It's 9 in the evening.Gab just got home,she immediately take a shower.Ced on the other hand is still on her way home.After Gab dropped her,she talked with Shaun and check their daily inventory.She also talked to her crew to know their concerns just in case there is.

" Good evening Madame. " Rosalinda,her maid,greeted her.

Rosalinda has been serving her,not only her,but their family since she was 3 years old.She was the one who took care of Ced when her mom's busy with work,she's still taking care of her especially now that her mom's gone.She's close to the family and Ced doesn't treat her like a maid at all.

After taking shower and changing her clothes she jumped on the bed and open her phone.
There's a message from Belle asking her if she already had dinner which she replied with a big YES.

She tries to close her eyes but she can't fall asleep.She stares at the ceiling for a minute before getting her guitar.

She sat on her bed and start strumming,she also played a song and sing along with it while playing the guitar.

She's singing the song with all her heart out,the song reminds her of her mom and every time she plays it,she feels like tearing apart.

She finished the song wiping her tears away.
She misses her mom so much.This is one of the reasons why she doesn't wanna come home,because it doesn't feel like home anymore.She tried so hard to be okay again.Belle took her in a club the night before her flight,just so they could bond.She was sitting there silently when a stupid idea came to her mind.

When she was in Paris,she tried to hook up with anyone interested with her,boys,girls,
younger or older than her,it really didn't matter,but she ended up hurting all of them.

That's when she said to herself that she's really not capable of giving love,hence,she doesn't deserve to be loved.

She's in a deep thinking when a yawn escape her mouth.She put her guitar back and lay on the bed,not long enough,she fell asleep.

Morning came and Ced woke up before sunrise like she always does.She drink her coffee and eat the pancake Rosalinda made for her before she goes to work.

Opposite to Ced,Gab is not a morning person.
Her shop opens at 9 am but since Khate is there,she doesn't have to worry.Her alarm rings for the 10th time already but there she is,still in a deep slumber.
She doesn't have her mom to wake her up early because she's with her younger sister,so she'll probably wakes up around 10am.

And yes!That's the cue.

9:59 a.m

" Shit! "

She ties her hair in a bun,head straight to the kitchen,eat breakfast,spend an hour taking shower then finally go to the shop.

" You're early. " Khate said jokingly.

" You need help there? " She asks when she sees the list of orders on the table.

" No,I can handle it. "

She didn't move trying to tease her cousin.

" Duh!Hurry up! " Khate said rolling her eyes.

There are at least 10 orders lined up.Some of it are for delivery and she's in charge of those.

It's 12 in the afternoon when Belle walked into Ced's office asking her out for lunch which she agreed.They're now in a fancy restaurant,talking about business and enjoying their food when she notice a girl looking at her.She raised one of her eyebrows but the girl just smiled at her.

" She looks familiar. " she mumble.

" Who? " Belle asks her.

" Nothing. "

They walk to the car.Ced was about to enter the passenger seat when she heard a voice that made her stop.

" You're breaking my heart again. "

" Sorry but do I know you? " she asks

" Sophia's the time. " Said the girl.

It hits her.One of her pastime in Paris.She didn't know what to say.Belle got out from the car and walk towards Sophia.

" What's the matter here? " She asks looking at Sophia then to Ced and vice versa until one of them speaks.

" Nothing serious,really.I just don't wanna miss the chance to talk with an old friend of mine here. "

Belle is waiting for Ced to speak but she just shuts her mouth.

" Is she...one of your... " Sophia looks at Belle from head to toe but before she could finish what she's about to say,Belle started speaking clearly not liking whatever's happening.

" Ced,get inside the car. " She commanded which Ced obeyed right away.

" And you. " She's now focusing on Sophia.

" I'm her best friend.So get out of my sight and don't you ever bother my best friend again. " She said full of authority before entering her car and driving away.

Ced knows she owe her an explanation but she wants Belle to calm down first.

" I'll tell you everything,let's go to my coffee shop. "

The ride didn't take long.Belle walked out of the car first.She got out and she then saw Gab taking her helmet off.

" Delivery? " she asks Gab from a distance.

Her voice is quite loud since there are people and vehicles passing by.

" Hey! " Gab wave her right hand.

Ced gave her a warm smile.

Khate comes out and hand her the bouquet for her next delivery.

" I have to go " she mouthed to Ced luckily the latter understand.

She puts her helmet back and wink at Ced as she drive off.

" Are you coming in or not? " Belle asks her angrily from the door.

She wanted to roll her eyes but she was still stunned by what just happened.Neglecting what she feels,she get inside and ready herself to Belle's rants as she started telling her the whole story.

" What?! " Belle's voice echoes the room.

" Lower your voice! " Ced said to her best friend.

Belle massage her temple,breathing in and out, calming herself.

" I never thought you'd become one of those hurt people who hurt people. " She's clearly disappointed to Ced.

" I know.I have no plans on doing that ever again,I swear. "

" Who's that girl? " seems like Belle is not done interrogating her.

Ced frowned.

" Who? She said she's Sophia,right? "

" The one riding the motorcycle. "

" Gab. "

" And she's your? " Belle asks clearly not satisfied with her short answer.

Good question.What are they?

She can't say they're friends already,one thing's for sure too,they're not hooking up with each other.That's not gonna happen.

" Neighbor, I guess? " She laughs a bit.

" What's funny? "

" She's one of our valued customers here,we talked once.I saw her awhile ago,she saw me.
That's it . "

She can't tell her the other details yet.For some reasons,she doesn't want to.Belle just gave her the look of annoyance.

" Are we okay now? " She asks after a few minutes.

" Only if you will come with me later this evening. " Belle said with her arms crossed.

" Bar? " She knew it.

She doesn't want to drink,she doesn't wanna hear those meaningless songs with blasting music,she doesn't wanna party neither,but she agreed anyway.
