Hey guys! So here's the new chapter, and I recommend you listen the song while reading it, enjoy!

"I love her, and that's the beginning and the end of everything."

"What do you mean we can't go save her?!" Vladimir bellowed at Aro during an emergency meeting.

"It means we can't. We'll be walking right into their trap."

"I don't care about that stupid trap I want Mel back right now." Stefan retorted

"Stefan they have a point, if we go there we will all be killed, including her."

Alec kept silent, his gaze never moving from the ground, he tightened his grip on the table to hold himself from destroying the whole castle.

"We will have to wait until we make at least a plan and go in," Amun said.

His mind kept going back to her, imagining her in pain, but that only resulted in making him angrier so he tried to remember the best moments he ever shared with her.

Around the 800s A.C.:

Alec watched Mel lay down on the grass next to the pond feeling completely at ease, he smiled softly while playing with her hair as she complained loudly.

"Alec I'm bored!"

"I can tell Lionne."

His frown deepened as his undead heart ached for her.

Around the 800s A.D.:

Mel hasn't met up with the twins for a few days since she was out of town to visit her family. On the day she was scheduled to come back, Alec was standing right in front of her house waiting for her to come back.

As the carriage arrived Melione jumped out of it and ran to Alec, he picked her up and twirled her around before embracing her. Their moment was interrupted by a loud cough that made the couple separate, Alec turned around and was met by her parents and sister.

"Father, meet Alec."

The man looked at Alec with a long stare before his face broke into a grin, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you my boy" He stalked forward and shook his hand.

"The pleasure is all mine sir." Alec answered before turning back to Mel, "I should probably get going." He said while scratching his head.

"Nonsense!" Her mother exclaimed. "Come join us for lunch."

Before he could politely decline the invitation her father wrapped his arm around his shoulder and started walking towards the house, "Come come! Let me show you my hunting gear."

His hands were now tugging on his hair trying to stop the flashbacks.

Around the 800s A.D.:

Alec walked into his room after a long day of cutting wood for his mother only to find Mel asleep on his bed, he walked over to her before tucking her in and kissing her forehead. As he was heading out to sleep in Jane's room, Mel called out, "Alec..."

"Yes?"

"Come." She patted the empty spot next to her.

Alec hesitated a little before eventually sliding under the covers. Mel scooted a little closer allowing him to wrap his arms around her.

Just as his eyes were closing, he heard, "I love you." His lips twitched upwards into a smile as he fell into a peaceful slumber.

He couldn't do it anymore, he slammed his hand on the table before getting up and storming out of the room.

===========

Alec was perched on top of one of the buildings in the alley she was last seen in, his head hanged down as he played with his hands. Suddenly he heard faint voices approaching that he could identify immediately.

"If we're going to find her we should start from where she initially disappeared in." The first voice said.

"That's so dumb, it's not like we're going to find her there." The second voice answered.

"No, but we could still find clues." Another voice retorted.

"Fine, whatever." The second voice grumbled.

After a few moments of poking around, the first person spoke up again, "Nothing."

"No shit."

"Stop complaining, it didn't hurt to check."

"We're losing time for nothing."

"Let's just go look around the city for now." The last person interrupted their growing argument.

That's when Alec decided to make his presence known, "Where do you think you're going?" He asked as he jumped from the top of the building and landing right in front of them.

"N-nothing." Daniel who turned out to be the second voice mustered out.

Alec hummed turning his gaze to the Romanians. "Look, we just want her back with us."

He frowned as he looked at the two people that took his and his sister's role in her life as her best friends, her companions, he shook his head before turning around and heading out of the alley.

"Just bring my mate back here alive."

He finally admitted it! I know it was a short chapter and I'm sorry about that, but I wanted to make a chapter with only Alec's point of view. I hope you're liking my book so far.
