Jin and Jimin sat in silence for a very long time.

" I know it seems weird to you but-"

" No hyung.. it's not.. I can understand" Jimin returned a sad smile mirroring the elder.

" You're too good Jimin. Not like other humans. If any other person hear about these stories, they'll freak out "
Jin said laughing.

Jimin giggled hearing this.

" Uh hyung continue the story. What happened to  the Alpha after meeting his mate " the younger asked not in the mood to drop the subject.

" After meeting his mate, Jungkook was heart broken. It happens.. if your expectation about your mate and the reality is different, you'll feel sad. But usually the mate bond is so strong that, that sadness won't matter anymore. You'll find your mate the most  beautiful, perfect in the world. That's how it works. But Jungkook's case was different. The problem wasn't his mate's physical appearance or character.. the actual problem was his mate itself."

"What did he do then?" Jimin was whispering, for some reason he was feeling sad..

" It was a shock to him.. he locked himself for many days.. refused to meet or talk to anyone. He literally went through hell. But one day he came out and announced that he's going to wait for his mate grow up. Till then he'll protect his mate. Everyone supported him in this, because it was a brave decision to make. Waiting almost 18 years is not a small thing. Any other wolf would have rejected his mate and later mated with someone else. But Jungkook decided to wait " Jin proudly explained about Jungkook making Jimin smile.

" as days passed Jungkook was getting better. The thought of having a mate only made him happy "

Jimin was naturally smiling hearing the story. The way Jin was explaining, Jimin could able to picturise everything..

" Months later, Jungkook was away from the pack at that time. He was attending some meeting. But when he came back and went to meet his mate, the baby was nowhere to see. The entire family disappeared without a trace. Nobody knows the reason"  Jin's expression changed in a split of second.

" Then ?"

" Everyone searched for them. From that day Jungkook and this pack is searching for him everywhere. More than twenty alphas are still searching for him in different places. For the last seventeen years Jungkook is waiting for his mate to come back and this pack is waiting for its Luna.. but it'll all stop by tomorrow.. after the mating ceremony, even if his real mate comes back it won't be the same.." Jin explained sadly.

It's true as an alpha it's Jungkook's responsibility to take care of his mate. After the mating ceremony Hwasa will become his mate. Even the original mate shows up afterwards all Jungkook can do is ignore and forget him..

" You said everyone was searching for the baby.. but how would you recognise him now? It's been years. He must have changed a lot.." Jimin asked a valid question.

" For Jungkook it's easy to find him.. he can  sense if his mate is near. That's the mate pull.. so he travelled to many places to search for his mate.. but for others it's not that easy.. there are certain things to find our Luna "

" Tell me about it"

Jimin didn't give any space for the elder to finish his words.. desperately asked the next question.

"  just like Jungkook, the boy is also special.. rare features which are inborn. .. we don't have the complete idea of his abilities since he left at a very early age.. so we had to find him by his rare physical features, that is-"

" Hyung !!!"

Jin's words interrupted by Taehyung's voice, who came running towards them. Jimin hissed in anger and disappointment.

" Finally I have found you. Why did you block everyone. I have been continuously calling you for the last two hours  " Tae complained while trying to catch his breath, he was panting..

" What happened Tae.. ?" Jin asked his brother-in-law.

" Namjoon hyung got injured and he's asking for you " Tae said in a worried tone.

Jin and Jimin both stood abruptly hearing this. Jin hurriedly walked closer to Tae,

" What happened to him.. please tell me he's ok "Jin was obviously worried for his mate.

" It's not serious, he got into a car accident. Slightly injured but he needs you. You know how he's.." Tae gave Jin a comforting smile

It's true that Namjoon is the beta of the biggest pack. He's strong, mentally and physically but he's a baby during sickness, who needs all the attention from his mate. Only Jin knows how to handle that sick baby.

" Let's go then.. it's getting late anyway.." Jin told them and started walking first..

Jimin, who was disappointed that he couldn't hear the story completely walked behind them. Of course he was feeling worried for the Beta, he's like a brother to him. But the story is important too..

Next day,

Last night Jimin couldn't sleep at all. He was thinking about what Jin said about Jungkook and his mate. He felt sad for the Alpha who has lived his whole life waiting for his mate.

Thoughts about Jungkook made him realise that whatever Jungkook is showing is not the real him. It's the pain that made him what he's today.

Jimin wanted to know more about the Luna but he didn't get a chance to ask anyone. Jin was busy taking care of his mate, Taehyung and his other friends were busy because of the mating ceremony. 

Today is the full moon so the mating ceremony is going to happen today itself, In the midnight. Different Packs has different rituals when it comes to mating. For Western moon pack, when it's Alpha's mating it should occur at a full moon night. It shouldn't be anywhere inside a closed room. It must be under the open sky, where the moon goddess would witness the rituals. That's the belief.

Rituals consist of many things, but most important is the marking. The alpha have to mark his mate in front of his pack members. similarly the Luna have to mark the alpha too. But it can be done privately, no need to show everyone. Later they'll mate in both human and wolf forms. This is also done privately..

For an alpha his mate is important and that too a wolf mate. The mate aka Luna should be capable of taking care of the pack along with the alpha.  It is one of the reason why Jungkook ignored his feelings for Jimin..

It was already evening and the whole pack was ready to welcome their Luna. They started gathering at the place where the ceremony will occur eventhough there's a lot of time for it.

Jimin placed all the books in a box one by one. He has already packed his clothes, now it's only the books remaining. During his stay in western moon pack, he collected a lot of books. since Tae is not into books he have to take all those book with him.

He was waiting for the day he could go back to Seoul and it's tomorrow. He'll definitely miss Taehyung and others but it's better to leave as soon as possible. This place is not good for him. From day one he was having problems staying here.

He is not going to attend the ceremony because one, he's not interested.. second, he can't go out since it's full moon.. he never stepped out on a full moon day, it's one of the many rules his halmoni made him follow.

So after packing everything he's going to sleep early today. Tomorrow he should to wake up early to leave, so it's better this way..

Jungkook was feeling restless as the time was getting close. It's already 10 in the night. He was in his room getting ready for the function.

" Can we go and see Jimin one last time "

Max asked hopefully.

Jungkook didn't see the younger for the last two days and it's clearly making him upset just like Max.

" I know you want it too.. "

Max added making Jungkook confused. It's not like Jungkook doesn't want to see the boy but the effect the meeting  would cause is the problem. And in a time like this, it is definitely a risk.

Without replying to Max Jungkook walked out of the room.  When he reached at the second floor, where Jimin's room is, it took everything in him to not to look at that direction. He knows the boy is there.

He stood in the middle of the stairs thinking about going back to meet him. As he was about to turn, Yoongi called him from downstairs.

" It's time to go Alpha.. everybody is waiting for you.." he said

Jungkook hissed in anger before looking at the direction of Jimin's room. Yoongi noticed this too.

" Jimin is not coming.. he must have slept already. you can meet him tomorrow before he leaves " Yoongi said with a smile

Jungkook narrowed his eyes hearing this.

" He's leaving tomorrow.. don't you know ?" Yoongi asked clearly confused. Jungkook felt a pang in his heart..

" It's your fault " 

Max shouted at Jungkook.

" Let's go "  Jungkook said to Yoongi ignoring Max's voice..  the alpha absentmindedly walked down..

" It's all your fault.. I won't forgive you ever "

Max yelled making Jungkook sigh.

" I won't either " he replied sadly.
