As Rainbow Blitz stormed out of the tent, Cranky Doodle Donkey stepped out while pulling Rainbow Dash with him, and said "I knew there was something wrong with you!" He pulled the red ribbon out of Rainbow Dash's mane, and said "A mare!" Dr. Whooves, Party Favor, and Soarin gasped in shock as Cranky Doodle Donkey shoved Rainbow Dash into the snow, and said "Trecherous snake!" Rainbow Dash recovered, and said "My name is Rainbow Dash!" She looked at Rainbow Blitz, and said "I did it to save my father!" "High treason!" Cranky Doodle said. "I didn't mean for it to go this far!" Cranky Doodle Donkey got in her face as he said "Ultimate dishonor!" Rainbow Dash just ignored Cranky Doodle Donkey as she said "It was the only way! Please, believe me!" Cranky Doodle Donkey just scoffed, and looked at Rainbow Blitz, and said "Captain?" Rainbow Blitz walked over to Derpy Hoof, and pulled out Rainbow Dash's sword as she gasped and said "NO!" Spike and Seabreeze gasped as Derpy Hoof tried to stop them, but Cranky Doodle Donkey said "Restrain her!" One of the pony soldiers grabbed Derpy Hoof as she struggled. Rainbow Blitz started walking over to Rainbow Dash. Dr. Whooves, Party Favor, and Soarin tried to stop Rainbow Blitz as they said "Noooooo!" Cranky Doodle Donkey stopped them as he said "You know the law!"

Rainbow Blitz stood over Rainbow Dash who lowered her head down to accept her fate. Then, Rainbow Blitz held the sword high, and threw it in front of Rainbow Dash, much to her surprise. "A life for a life." Rainbow Blitz said. "My debt is repaid." He turned to walk away as he said "Move out!" Cranky Doodle Donkey went up to him as he said "But-But you can't just-!" Rainbow Blitz interrupted him as he bitterly said "I said MOVE OUT." Then, they all rook off to Canterlot, leaving Rainbow Dash, Derpy Hoof, Seabreeze, and Spike behind. Later that night, Seabreeze started a small fire using small sticks while Derpy Hoof wrapped Rainbow Dash up in a teal blanket. Seabreeze then snuggled into the blanket. Spike then picked up a stick in the snow as he said "I was this close. THIS close! To impressing the ancestors, getting the top shelf, an entourage. Wow, all my fine work, pffft." He then used his sick to pull a carrot out of one of the baskets, and placed it above the fire to roast it. He looked up at Rainbow Dash as he said "Hi." "I should never have left home." Rainbow Dash said sadly.

"Hey, come on, you wanted to save your father's life." Spike said. "Who knew you'd end up shaming him, disgracing your ancestors, and losing all your friends." As the fire died out, he sniffled, and said "You know, you just gotta...you gotta learn to let these things go." He sniffled again, and Rainbow Dash said "Maybe I didn't go for my father. Maybe what I really wanted was to prove that I could do things right." She picked up Shining Armor's helmet to see her reflection as she said "So, when I looked in the mirror, I'd see somepony worthwhile." She started to cry as she said "But, I was wrong. I see nothing!" She tossed her helmet aside, and she started crying again. Spike then took the helmet as he said "Well, that's because this just needs a little spit, that's all." He spitted on the helmet, and wiped it as he said "Let me shine this up for you." He held it up to her as he said "I can see you, look at you, you look so pretty." He chuckled, but Rainbow Dash just turned away. He frowned, and said "The truth is we're both frauds. Your ancestors never sent me. They don't even like me. I mean, you risked your life to help the ponies you love. I risked your life to help myself. At least you had good intentions."

Rainbow Dash smiled a little as Seabreeze looked at his reflection in her helmet, and cried out "I'm not lucky!" "What?!" Spike asked as he grabbed Seabreeze. "What do you mean you're not lucky?! You lied to me?" Seabreeze sniffed, and said "Yes." Spike then looked at Derpy Hoof, and said "And what are you, a sheep?!" "No!" Derpy Hoof said feeling offended. Spike sighed as he tossed Seabreeze aside. "I'll have to face my father sooner or later." Rainbow Dash said sadly. "Let's go home." "Yeah." Spike said. "This ain't gonna be pretty. But, don't you worry, okay? Things'll work out. We started this thing together, and that's how we'll finish it." They shared a hug as Spike said "I promise." At the avalanche site, Philomena flying over looking for King Sombra. Suddenly, his hoof popped out of the snow as Philomena spotted him. He crawled out of the snow, and looked around.

Angered, he let out a really loud scream of rage, and Rainbow Dash, Derpy Hoof, Seabreeze and Spike heard it. Just then, the red-maned, the purple-maned, the dark-blue-maned, the dark-green-maned, and the neon-blue-maned Shadowbolts popped out of the snow as Philomena landed on their leader's shoulder. They started heading for Canterlot as Rainbow Dash, and her friends looked at them, and she gasped. She then ran to the carriage as Derpy Hoof followed her. She hooked herself up to the carriage, and Rainbow Dash hopped on. "Uh, home is that way!" Spike said as Rainbow Dash started to head for Canterlot. As Rainbow Dash looked at Spike, and said "I have to do something!" "Did you see those Shadowbolts?!" Spike asked. "They popped out of the snow! Like daisies!" Are we in this together or not?" Rainbow Dash asked sternly. Seabreeze looked at Spike as he said "She's got a point." Spike smiled, and said "Well, let's go kick some Shadowbolt flanks!" They hopped into the carriage, and raced ahead of the Shadowbolts to Canterlot as Spike did a cheerful yell.
