Everett

Greg's sickening laugh irrupts around me, "Time to get started."

I shuddered and tried to get away from him but the silver chains burned my wrists and ankles. The pain became excruciating and small whimper escaped my lips. I felt my face contort into pain and I felt the corners of my eyes prickle.

"Aww come on Ever. I haven't even touched you and you're already whimpering," he chuckles darkly and I sneer in disgust.

"You disgust me. Stay away and my name is not Ever," I yell and squirm. I feel the sting of a blade pressed against my stomach and I freeze.

"You need to learn to be quiet and submit to your new Alpha and mate. And if you don't I will kill this child right now. Our plan may be to kill this child but I may change it in order to keep you under my control," he says and he pushes the blade harder into my stomach.

I remain silent knowing that if I don't he may kill my baby. He smiles and walks over to the wall that is lined with weapons. There is whips, knives, syringes and vials. I know that almost all those weapons will be used against me and I can't help that my heart starts pounding with fear.

Greg picks up a syringe and vile. I see that it is a filled with silver liquid and I can guess that it is silver. He is going to put straight silver into my veins. That could kill even the most powerful werewolves. He inserts the syringe into my vein and the silver enters directly into my bloodstream.

The pain comes immediately as the silver travels through my blood stream. My back arches and a scream escapes my mouth. I can feel every inch the silver moves. The pain is excruciating. Tears trail down my cheeks. I have to stay calm and stay still or the silver will make to my heart faster. I breathe in deeply and lay back down panting and trying to slow down my heart beat.

"Aww the show is already over. You are going to be a tough one to break," he says and I feel the chain come undone as he throws me to the ground.

I hear the crack of a whip seconds before the pain comes. He lashes out on my back. I grit my teeth. I wasn't going to allow this to beat me. I just had to wait until Bryson got here and then I could go home and be with my family. I wasn't going to let them take me again. I wasn't going to let them win.

"Why don't you just give up already? You know I will win and you will lose and become mine," he sneers and bring the whip down onto my legs.

"I won't give up because you stole ten years of my life away from my family and mate. I have something to live for. I know disgusting vermin like you only live to hurt people but I don't. I live for my mate and my family," I yell and begin to crawl.

My legs don't seem to be able to hold my weight and my legs collapse from under me. I can still feel the silver traveling through my veins and I know I have to get out of here. I start to drag myself, clenching my teeth as pain explodes down my spine and legs.

"There's no point in trying to escape. The silver has almost completely gone through your system. You're weak and useless. You know that Tiffany will serve Bryson better as a mate," he says and I see him grab a long jagged knife from the wall and make his way toward me.

"That's not true. You're not going to get away with this," I say, with a groan as I feel the silver makes its way closer and closer to my heart.

Just stay strong. You have to stay strong in order to protect our pup, I say to myself. I am going to live and nothing is going to stop me.

Greg presses his hand directly onto my back, on the many wounds he has already caused. I can't help the scream that erupts from my mouth as the wound sting. I can't move the pain is too much. I feel the bite of the knife as he pushes the knife into the skin of my shoulder.

He brings the knife across my shoulder and brings it down my arm, drawing cuts all around my upper arm and down my wrist. Just like before. I scream as I feel blood trickle and drop onto the floor. He's going to kill me if he continues. My dress, or what was left was covered in blood and a small puddle was forming around me.

Bryson please get here soon, I don't know how much more I can handle, I think to myself knowing that with the silver in my system Ariel and I are too weak to mind link with him.

I feel Greg get off of me and press his hand into my back. He raises his hand and licks some of my blood off his hand. His eyes practically glowed red as he did. He was really a monster. My body shudders as I look at him. How could someone take pleasure in breaking people?

"I'll be back later Ever, be a good girl now," he says and walks out the door.

As he walks out of the room, the pain overcomes me and my scream echoes through the room. I curl into a ball, wrapping my arms around my stomach. Protecting my baby.

"Just wait a little longer baby, Daddy is going to come and save us," I whisper, stroking my baby bump. It's noticeable and I can't help but smile knowing that I am carrying Bryson's child.

My skin feels like it's on fire and I know that the silver is almost to every part of my body. I hear footsteps coming but they don't stop at the door they continue on down the hall. The cement floor reminds me of the time I was at Red Sun. The cement floor of the basement and the beatings. Ever since my "parents" from Red Sun died. I feel the tears come and pour down my cheeks. I just want to go home.

"Please protect Bryson and I, almighty Moon Goddess. We really need your help," I say, closing my eyes and allowing myself to fall ingot the abyss.

I awake to someone touching my shoulder and I see Ella. I instantly relax and try to sit up and with Ella's help I lean against the wall for support. Ella smiles a gentle smile at me.

"Ella, what are you doing here?" I ask, my breathing heavy and coming out in pants.

"I snuck in. I got you some food. You need it for your pup. I'm sorry I couldn't bring you any water," she says and brings a piece of bread to my mouth.

"Thank you, but won't you get in trouble?" I don't want her getting in trouble. She reminds me of me only a couple of months ago.

"I might. I don't care. I just want you to be saved so that this assholes get what they deserve," she says and I hear a small growl come out of her mouth. So she was a werewolf.

I almost laugh when I hear her swear. She seems like the type of girl that doesn't swear. I take another bite of bread and the knot in my stomach loosens.

"Ella, how did you get in here?" I ask. Curiosity kills the cat.

"I told the guard that the Alpha wanted you to have some food and the dumbass believed me," she giggles.

I giggle as well. Glad to know that I can still giggle even though I have been through so much. I take the last bite of bread and chew it slowly wanting to savour it forever.

"Thank you again Ella," I say as she stands up to leave. I know she has to leave before someone comes and she gets caught.

"You're welcome. I'll try to come back later with some bandages," her smile is reassuring and I want to believe it, but part of me can't. If she gets caught she could get killed.

She closes the door and I am engulfed by darkness again.

Bryson

We've been running for hours now and we finally reached our destination. We are remaining in our wolf form in case we needed to attack sooner than we panned. It was around four o'clock just like we planned.

"Everyone please stay in your wolf form unless you are eating the food that you brought with you. We can all rest now. At midnight we attack," I say through the mind link.

"Yes Alpha," rings through the mind link.

I had the Warrior and Trackers surrounding the compound that we found. I could see about fifty wolves and humans, which I am guessing hunters, guarding all sides of the building. It was an old cement building with two entrances, one on the North side and one on the South side.

"Bryson, you should get some rest. We need you at the top of your game." Logan walks over silently. His wolf a shade darker than Everett's chocolate brown wolf. He stands taller than everyone else but not as tall as me.

"No, I'm fine. I'll rest once Everett is back in my arms and safe," I reply, not looking over at him, keeping my eye on the building that holds my mate.

"Bry, you no Everett wouldn't want that," he say and nudges my shoulder with mine.

"I could feel what she was going through, to some extent, but now it's like she's almost gone. I'm not going to be able to rest until she is back in my arms," I reply and I feel my ear droop.

"We'll save her, I know it," he reassures.

"I know. I won't allow it to be any other way," I say and walk away, needing to be alone.

These next eight hours are going to be long.
