I watch as all the replies start flooding in, pretty much everyone surprised with my choice on who I sided with.

It was time for change, and fairness is key in every war. Pretty much all of the stories on both sides checked out, so I had no reason to join either one. If one side cheated, then I would join the other, and the other way around.

And this way, no one can blame me for anything that happened, since it wasn't my fault. It's a perfect victory.

"Welcome to my side, Staar. Where we win no matter what," Dream says, quirking an eyebrow up at me.

"Whatever," I mumble playfully, shutting down my phone. Before I do so I check the time.

3:55pm.

Wow, I must have been streaming longer than I thought.

"So, what do you guys wanna do?" I ask, and they shrug.

"I was actually thinking of recording a video," Sapnap says, and I smile at the thought. "Like, a plug in or something. I know George and Dream have a lot that they haven't used."

"Aw, Sapnap, I'm so happy to be featured in your fourth youtube video!" I tease, making fun of the amount of videos he has. He shoots me a dirty look, which the rest of us laugh at. "But yeah, sure. We can record. Anything in particular?"

"I've been wanting to record the "Minecraft, but we're endermen..." video for a while, and it wouldn't hurt to add another person," Dream says, standing up. I tilt my head in confusion at the subject.

"Care to ellaborate?" I ask, wanting to grasp a better idea of the concept before I get myself entangled with it.

"Basically, when you take damage you teleport, and when you're in water you also take damage, but don't teleport. And when you die, you drop an ender pearl. But we've all agreed that we can't just farm pearl's off of each other," George explains, and I'm immediately drawn to the concept.

"Let's do it," I say, standing up with Dream.

"Like, right now?" Sapnap questions.

"Yeah, right now. We have nothing better to do," I say, and we all scatter to our rooms. I open minecraft on one monitor and while I wait I boot up discord on the other. I get into a call with them, checking to see if everything is working.

Sapnap start recording and does his intro, messing up a few times and redoing it.

"Should I run the command?" Dream asks. I nod in game.

The chat fills with the command, and we start.

"Alright, let's do this," I say. We all move to punch down trees, George and Sapnap going to the same one.

"George, move this is my tree," Sapnap says, punching George. He teleports a few blocks away, but sprints back to Sapnap.

"It was literally mine, I was here first," George says, punching Sapnap back. He teleports on top of the tree, jumping down. I sigh as they start attacking each other, George eventually dying and respawning right next to us.

"Jesus. My first plug in and you guys are already fighting," I say with a chuckle, and Dream joins me. The boys move into a small surface cave while I look around the area.

"Guys, guys, I found a village," I say, placing down a crafting table and making some wooden tools, including a hoe for getting the Wheat. I hit the iron golem, then run away and tower up, killing it with my wooden axe.

Sapnap, George, and Dream eventually arrive at the village, just as I hit the iron golem for the last time. It drops a poppy and three iron.

"Here Staar," George says, dropping me stone tools and a shield.

"Thank you," I say, picking them up and placing them in order in my hot bar.

"You've gotta be kidding me," Sapnap says.

"Oh come on," Dream groans, making me scan my screen with my eyes, leaving my inventory.

"What- oh," I say, reading the words Raid at the top of my screen, along with a small progress bar underneath.

"Run, we gotta get out of here," George says, following me as I run back into the spruce forest, breaking berries as I go.

"Staar, stop getting all of the berries! I need food!" Dream yells, teleporting next to me. He zaps around as more arrows fly towards him, sticking to his character.

"I'm sure you'll be fine-" I say, and just as I finish Dream hits the ground next to me, all of his stuff dropping, along with an ender pearl.

"Staar!" Dream yells, and I start laughing loudly, George and Sapnap joining me.

Dream was shot by a Pillager

The gray box fills the side of my screen, only making me laugh harder. "Don't worry, we aren't that far away from spawn, and I got your stuff," I say with a chuckle. As Dream starts reading his cords out loud, the worst thing possible starts happening.

Small, blue pixels start falling from the sky, taking hearts at an alarming rate.

"It just had to start raining, didn't it!" George yells in annoyance, and I chuckle.

"Now it's gonna be like impossible to get to you guys. But, I can see a desert from here, so I'll try to head over there," Dream says, thinking out loud.

"What are the cords?" Sapnap asks, then I see him zoom ahead of me, multiple arrows sticking out of his character at weird angles. I change perspectives, and see we only have a few pillagers still behind us. An arrow flies past me, hitting Sapnap and teleporting his a few blocks backward, setting him back in his progress. "THE CORDS PLEASE!" Sapnap yells again, this time with more urgency. He's probably low, and the small amount of damage from the rain kills Sapnap. I laugh loudly at the situation, leaving Sapnap and Dream at spawn and George and I running from the raid.

I eat some berries, then turn around and kill the remaining pillagers, my heart rate finally slowing.

Dream finally gives us the coordinates with a chuckle, and we make our way over there as quick as possible. We still have to be mindful about the rain, though.

Once we arrive at the desert, we see a temple in the distance. I raid it, careful not to step on the pressure plate in the center. I don't get much of anything helpful, just some iron, spider eyes, and string, along with a Punch I book that I don't think I'll need.

"Do you guys have any food?" Sapnap asks, chasing a rabbit around aimlessly.

"Yeah, here," I say, dropping him 10 berries. He eats them, then starts crafting some stuff for all of us. I spot some sheep in the distance, just outside the desert biome. I step out cautiously, trying to see if there's still rain. None, which is good.

I jump as I hit the sheep, them dying with one hit. I get some food out of the five sheep, as well as enough wool for a bed. I sprint jump back to the desert, where I can see all three of the boys standing around Dream, who is making a nether portal.

"Dream- DREAM HELP! SAPNAP NO!" George yells out as I approach, and his screams can only mean trouble. I look over to see him in the middle of the water that Dream has placed in order to make the portal. Sapnap laughs at him, and Dream punches him out.

"George what are you doing-" Dream says with a chuckle, and I put some of the food into the furnace that someone has put down.

George clicks rapidly and takes the food as soon as it finishes, eating it.

"Hey, I made that," I say, punching him.

"NO- I'm on half a heart, Staar!" George yells, eating another mutton as it finishes.

"Fine, Jesus," I mutter, running back into the previous biome and getting more food for all of us.

"Oh wait- I have wheat, what am I doing," I say, killing one last pig and then running back, crafting a bit over a stack of bread. Nice.

Once we arrive in the nether, I start farming some gold for us to wear while Sapnap and George navigate the blue biome in hopes to find a fortress.

"There!" Sapnap says, punching the air to the right of the portal. I finish up mining the iron nuggets, barely having enough to make two pairs off boots.

"You guys go ahead and take these," I say, dropping the gold armor for them. I stay behind with Dream, who is eating some food and killing hoglins that roam around.

Sapnap and George give the occasional scream, which I assume means that they're making progress.

I end up getting enough gold for boots for Dream and I and a bit extra for trading. We drop piglins down into a small pit, shifting around the edge of the hole and looking for the items they throw at us. They only give four pearls, adding the two that Sapnap and Dream dropped when they died.

It's not enough, but it's enough to get us started.

"Guys, we're actually doing pretty well," Dream says, and I look over to see how long we've been recording.

It's only been about twenty minutes, but I'll say that we've gotten pretty far into the game, judging by the fact that we have pearls, minimal armor, and George and Sapnap are just entering the fortress.

"I'm gonna go back to the overworld and get us iron," I say, running through the portal.

"Thank you, mother," Sapnap teases, and I chuckle at the nickname.

"Don't call me mother, Sapnap. We all know that I'm a daddy," I say, winking to nobody as I say the words. Dream and George laugh loudly, and I smile with them.

"No, we all know that Dream is daddy," Sapnap says, making me and George let out a loud laugh, and earning a wheeze from Dream himself.

I hear to a surface cave, mining iron and creating small talk with the boys. I set up multiple furnaces in the cave, smelting everything as quick as I can.

"Wha-- AH!" Dream yells, causing my eyebrows to raise as I place down a torch.

"You good?"

"No a piglin just shot me and I teleported right above lava. Thankfully I'm amazing at this game, so I managed to block clutch," Dream says, ego on the edge of exploding.

"Wow. You're so good," I say, my voice filled with sarcasm, earning a small chuckle from everyone.

I manage to make everyone a chest plate and a helmet before they return, blaze rods in hand.

"Staar, we're about to come back," George says, and I pop out of the cave, making my way back to the desert.

"Shi-- shoot!" I yell, correcting myself as rain falls down from the sky, hitting the birch and oak tree leaves around me and I run the 20 block distance into the desert. It leaves me on two and a half hearts, forcing me to eat once I'm in safety.

The boys meet me at a half way point, and I drop them the armor that I've made.

"Thank you," Sapnap says, equipping it.

"Is there a particular reason you didn't make pants?" George asks, and I can almost hear how one of his eyebrows raises.

"Because of this, of course," Dream says, turning around and shifting, making his minecraft "butt" stick out.

"Yeah, obviously George. I need to see Dream's cake, every chance that I get," Sapnap says, chuckling and earning a laugh from Dream. "Staar was thinking of me when she was mining."

His words make me laugh, and we continue on.

We throw an eye or ender into the air, and it points us out of the desert, over to a shoreline, but there's a cliff beforehand.

"Guys, watch this," George says, running off of the edge of the cliff.

"NO GEORGE YOU IDIOT-" Sapnap starts, watching as George mlg's. Sadly, he makes it, not thinking about the side effects.

"What the-- HELP ME!" George screams, his high pitched yelling hurting my ears. I watch as his character jerks, him taking damage in the small amount of time that he's actually in the water.

I laugh loudly at him taking damage, making my way down the mountain carefully. I place a bed down right next to George, who has missed the water block and is still in the water.

"I'M ABOUT TO DIE! I'M ABOUT TO DIE!" George shrieks, eating food and trying his best to survive.

"GET THE BED GEORGE! GET THE GODDAMN BED IT'S RIGHT HERE!" Dream yells, and George clicks it, right before he dies.

GeorgeNotFound drowned

I watch in shock as all of his stuff floats carefully into the water, just out of my reach. I only manage to get his helmet and his shovel through a painful process, before the rest of his items flow into the ocean and sink. I groan loudly, attempting to get it back and get a few more useless items. I drop them to him when he respawns, continuing on.

We throw an ender eye again, and it leads us above water.

"This is fine, we have boats," I say, getting out a crafting table. Sapnap immediately get's on top of it, to which I punch him off with a teleport and resume making the two boats.

We enter the boats, throwing it once more to get us into a general direction, then start rowing. Dream and I both switch our perspective to look for the stronghold, seeing if it's underwater.

"Fu- shit," I say, miserably failing at correcting myself. "I mean-- shoot. What the heck. Dang it. Frick," I say, trying to cover for myself, but the boys are already laughing loudly at me, making me blush.

"Oh shut up," I mutter, and we look down.

"Oh-" Dream says, realizing why I was surprised in the first place. "Well this isn't good."

The stronghold is underneath us, meaning that it's at the bottom of the ocean.

We take damage from water, and at a faster rate than rain. It's like if you were on fire, had the wither effect, and was prisoned all at the same time.

"Well that's not good," Sapnap says.

"It doesn't mean we can't try-" Dream starts, eating and then jumping into the water. "OW- Oh my god guys it hurts, it hurts-" Dream says quickly, then dies. He sighs loudly. "0/10. Would not recommend."

"Since when were we yelp reviewers?" Sapnap asks, and we laugh together, even Dream giving in at one point.

We decide to stop recording there, judging by the fact that there is no way for us to get to the stronghold. And trust me, we've tried many ways.

"That was chaotic," I say, taking a deep breath. The boys huff laughs and agree with me.

Sapnap does his outro and I look over to the time, just realizing how much time we were recording. It's a good way to spend time, so I'm not mad about it.

We all regroup in the kitchen, having dinner and, then parting and all having time for our own. I have a few video's I need to edit, and I think that Sapnap is going to start editing the video we just did.

I look over the footage, listening to music as I work. It's a good two hours of among us gameplay, from one of my last among us streams. I also make a quick bed wars video, which was supposed to be a story time, but I get off track a lot during the stream, only making it a harder chunk of footage to edit.

I finish late at night, noticing that I've been editing for the past four hours, landing me awake at around 1:30am. It's similar to the time frames that I used to have when I lived alone. I've only finished one video, and I'm probably going to put it out tomorrow, then finish editing the next two videos tomorrow as well.

I decide to end the night here, saving my work and walking to the bath room, trying not to wake Sapnap. As I walk across the hallway I notice a light on in George and Dream's hallway, but don't bother to look and see who's awake.

I take a quick shower, not washing my hair. Once I finish I realize that I've forgotten my pajamas in my bed room. Great. Just great.

I open the door of the bath room and peek out, checking to see if anyone else is awake. The light in the other bathroom is on, but I make a run for it.

Just before I reach my bed room, the other bath rooms door opens and Dream emerges, a towel wrapped loosely around his hips. My jaw drops as I see him but I turn away quickly, opening my door. Of course, my hand is too wet and slips on the knob, not letting me in.

Dream hears me, turning in my direction. He has the same reaction as me, his jaw dropping, but he then shields his eyes with his hand and walks into his room. He whispers a small "sorry" as he closes his door, and I cringe.

The knob finally gives in and I open the door, running into my room and shutting it quickly. My phone lights up in the distance, laying screen-up on my nightstand, I walk over to it.

speedrunner 🏃💨:

Me:

A few people are in the chat, their messages going by at a normal rate. It then erupts with our active status showing, and Dream is the first to turn on his mic.

"Hi guys," he says, whispering. I decide to match the tone.

"Hello everyone. We are going to be getting op stuff on the dream smp," I say, whispering as well.

"Well, I'm going to carry you, obviously."

"I could literally walk over to your room and kick you in the head, don't forget that."

"Noted."

I boot up Minecraft on my other monitor, entering the smp. No one is streaming or active at the moment, which I find pretty surprising, judging the amount of people that have access to the server.

"Where are you?" I ask, spawning near Tommy's house.

"Eret's castle," Dream says, and I run in that direction, opening and closing gates as I run. "Meet me in the community house."

"I'm already here," I say, looking around the building.

"No you aren't. I don't see you," Dream says, and I look directly at his character. He has his back facing me, looking left and right but still somehow missing me.

"Right here, dumbass," I say, punching him. He spins around and hits me with his axe. I scoff at his actions, and he leads me to the nether portal.

"We're gonna have to go far, since everyone has netherite. There's probably none close to the portal," Dream says, and I get in the back of a boat that he has placed. We slide on the ice paths, moving through the blocks quickly. Within the next minute, he leads me to another ice path, this time on top of the nether.

"Here should be good," he whispers, jumping out of the boat. I do the same, entering the actual nether and leaving the top area.

We go to the y-coordinate and Dream uses some of the TNT for Wilbur on the project. Ancient debris is blast proof, meaning it won't blow up with nether rack or quarts ore blocks.

A few painful hours later we get me the rest of my gear, which happens to only be a helmet and boots, which is very lucky. If I still needed a chest plate I would give up and ask Dream to cheat it in for me.

"Yay," I whisper, the quiet sound masking my genuine happiness. I continue playing minecraft, hardly noticing the sun starting to peek through my curtains. I help Dream farm for sand and gunpowder, not knowing much other than the fact that it's for Wilbur. I've heard rumors about what Will might do with it, but I don't like assuming anything.

"Dream, I have a stack of gunpowder," I whisper, my fingers and back starting to ache, but I don't look away from my screens.

"Perfect. You can just drop it in a chest at your base and I'll pick it up later," Dream whispers back. My voice is not going to like this tomorro-- later today.

"Base? You mean the one you blew up with L'Manberg?" I ask with sass, and he stays quiet for a moment.

"Well I would have thought that you built a new one by now," Dream retorts, and I roll my eyes at him.

"Where is your base "mr. community house"?" I ask him. He stays silent.

"Bases are for losers, anyways," Dream defends, huffing a laugh, and I chuckle with him.

"Yeah, I guess they are. That's why the people who are part of the Dream SMP side have them," I say, then follow up with some quiet "oooo"s. Dream stays quiet. "Get it? Because the Dream SMP lost the wa--"

"I get it," Dream says with a stiff voice, and his bitterness is clearly shown in his tone.

"Alright, salty much?" I ask, and he breaks character, laughing aloud. I smile with my accomplishment.

We spend another half hour on the smp before we decide to log off, ending our "sleepover" on discord as well. I turn around and look at the time in the corner of my computer screen.

8:40am.

Uh oh. That's not good.

I decide that there's no point to go to sleep at this point, judging by the fact it would completely ruin my sleeping schedule more than it already has.

I stretch my body as I stand up, spinning around and cracking my back satisfyingly. I crack all my knuckles as well as I walk into the main living area. Dream also enters the room, generally at the same time as me.

I look down and realize I'm still in pajamas, but shake the thought away and grab a monster from the kitchen. I don't usually drink energy drinks, but this is one time where I'll make an exception. I open the can, taking my first sip of the drink. It's not bad.

I open up my phone, entering my "day count" app.

I have two counters set up right now; the war, and something a bit more personal. The war one shows 14 days, while the other shows 18.

The day I'm dreading is coming faster than I anticipated, and much faster than I thought.

It's a day that I've hated for half of my life, crying and spending the day alone every single time that I've been able to. Now that I'm living with my closest friends, it might be harder than I thought.

tehe thats it :) i hope you enjoyed this chapter, I really like writing all of the silly interactions and dumbassery that the four of them get up to all the time. If you liked the chapter, vote (it let's me know what type of chapters you guys like) and comment (it makes my day). i love you, you are ALWAYS valid, MUAH xoxo author
