The Ninjas had the great idea to tie themselves together with a piece of rope, Misty wasn't for the idea but she was ruled four to one.

"All right, no matter what happens no one can run away we're in this together," Cole said

Jay laughed and said, "Aint's nothing but a Sensei Yang, let's find him and get the Airjitzu."

Kai was the first one. "Just so we're not surprised Zane, Jay, Misty, what sort of things are you afraid of?"

"Ah, I THINK I KNOW WHAT I'M AFRAID OF!" Zane shouted he was looking behind him. "IT'S MORRO!"
Morro was standing at the other end of the wall way.

"I'm not afraid of Morro I'm afraid of never saving Lloyd," Misty said through gritted teeth.

"Of all the times to have to fight him again," Cole said

"And he already knows Airjitzu! we don't stand a chance!" Jay said

"Wait a minute if we're all afraid of Morro then this must be our next test! And how are we supposed to save Lloyd if we don't even have the courage to face him?!" Kai said

"He's right let's get him!" Cole shouted
All the ninjas ran forward but Morro got away.

"We weren't fast enough!" Cole said

"There he is!" Kai shouted he pointed to Morro disappearing around a corner. "All right let's step together."

"One, two, three, one, two, three!" Cole said as the ninja ran.
"He went up to the Attic," Kai said

"Attic's definitely near the top of the list of things I'm afraid of," Jay said
The ninja climbed up the ladder and entered the attic.

Morro was standing in a corner his back facing toward them.

"He's just standing there what do we do?" Jay said
"I don't know but go face him, Jay," Kai said

"You! Face him!" Jay shouted back.

"We'll all face him," Cole said They moved forward and Kai reached out to touch Morro's shoulder.

Then Morro vanished in a cloud of green. All of them screamed and jumped back.The ghost of Yang floated in front of them.

"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student. You have passed the test," Yang said
"Then you'll teach us how to do Airjitzu?" Kai asked
The ghost pulled out a scroll and said.

"Only those we see things through will reap the benefits of the reward."
Cole took the scroll.

"That's not the only thing we see through why is it I can see through my hand?!" Jay shouted Yang began to laugh as the clock ticked closer to the time of the morning.
Yang began to glow and he said "Now you will join my students." There were multiple figures floating behind him they were in chains.

"He's not just their mentor he's their captor!" Cole said the ninja backed away from the ghost as he said

"The New Dawn is upon us get out before the clock's last chime if you can!" Yang said The ninja ran from the attic but fell on their way down.
"WHY DID WE TIE OURSELVES TOGETHER!" Zane shouted

"I hate to say I told you so!" Misty shouted

"There's no time to complain. We just have to move! One, two, three, One, Two,

Three!" Cole said the ninja ran for the door. The Clock started to chime time was running out and Misty could only hope that she and the others would be able to outrun it."

"The Door hurry!" Kai shouted

The ninja made it through the door as the last chime sounded.

"My hand I can see my hand! We made it!" Kai said

"But where's Cole?" Jay said

Misty turned and was about to bolt back inside the temple. "They had lost Lloyd! They couldn't lose Cole! Not again!"

But when she saw Cole walk out of the door and he said. "Don't worry I got the scroll!" They all gasped

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Cole said

"You didn't make it out in time," Jay said

"Yeah, Cole. You're a...a..." Kai said

"I'm a Ghost!" Cole said

"Cole...I'm... so.. sorry...we'll find a way to turn you back." Misty said in half a whisper.

"Do you remember the tour guide Misty... She said forever..." Kai said

"I don't believe that! There's got to be a way!" Misty said and she stomped her foot on the ground and shook her head. "There has to be a way..." she said as she hide her face in her hands. All the ninjas had had to face their fears inside the house, but now... Misty was having to face hers, Causing someone she cared about pain." She knew technically Cole was not lost but he had been turned into a ghost and she felt like it was her fault.

When the ninja had gotten back to the Bounty, Wu, Misako, and Nya. explained what happened. Cole went to his room and didn't come out.
Misty sat outside Cole's door her back against the door and she said, "Cole, I'm so sorry,"

She heard the noise of shuffling feet and then what sounded like the noise of someone sitting down on the floor on the other side of the door. Cole's voice then spoke and he said, "It's not your fault Misty,"

Misty bit her lip and leaned her head against the door and said, "I'm here for you Cole, if you need anything I'm here," she slipped her fingers underneath the door to his side.

She then felt and cold and chilling sensation at the tips of her fingers and she heard Cole say, "Thank you Misty, I know can always count on you, to be here for me,"
