Hu Tao covered her head with a pillow, when a bright light flashed before her eyes. She felt a hand slowly patting her hair.

"Wake up!" Spoke a familiar voice.

She opened her eyes trying to get a better view on what was happening.

"AHH!" She screamed

She stood up, looking at Xiao's face, burying her head back in the blanket, her face turning a lovely shade of pink.

"Hurry up now!" The adepti said sweetly to Hu Tao

"I have to go soon, ... to take care of things..."

He took his spear and perched out on the window, about to jump off.

"Wait!" She yelled

She still up and grabbed her spear that was leaning against the wall. It was bright red with embers that flew out like dust. Grabbing the handle, she dashed over to Xiao.

"Can I come?" She asked eagerly

"It's too dangerous." He added in a serious tone.

"Aw cmon' please!"

After lost of begging, possibly crying, the director had finally managed to persuade him.

The adepti grabbed her hand, it was soft but firm at the same time, leading her out to a ruinguard.

"Don't go charging out of nowhere, okay?"

Hu Tao nodded in agreement.

"Pinky-Promise!"

They fought, until dusk, and when the pink and grey colours emerged, they were victorious.
