CHAPTER 27 - PART 3(b)

At XIAO CORPORATION

The office has been in complete silence after the young heir has left as before leaving the administrative floor the instructions were given to Wen Ning that no one is allowed to enter the office till he returns unless it's John or lele as he doesn't want to disturb the sleep of the young actor and the secretary when heard the instructions of the young heir immediately nodded his head and the young heir after making sure that there will be no disturbance to the young actor left the office leaving the office in a suitable environment for his sleeping beauty to sleep.

The office has fallen into silence after the young heir has left and the only thing which can be heard is the snores of the sleeping beauty after a few minutes the silence is disturbed by a groan of the sleeping figure who after a few minutes opened his eyes to only find himself alone in the office which made him a little bit shocked as although he didn't remember when he slept but he remembers that he slept with his Zhan ge in his lap and on not finding his husband with him when he woke up made him frown as he immediately sat down on the sofa to only look all around the office so that he can get a glimpse of his old man but on not finding the older there even after scanning for few minutes immediately stood up and was about to leave the office when his eyes caught a paper kept on the table and as Yibo saw the paper he immediately took the paper kept on the table and the thing he read made him frown as the note read,

"Love,
Gege is going for a meeting and he will try to come back soon!"

And as Yibo read the note a frown appeared on his face as he knows that if his old man has gone to the meeting then the man is definitely going to take a long time and knowing it from Kuan he is damm sure that the man is going to be late too and Yibo on realizing this frowned as he didn't want the older to leave as he wanted the man to have rest for one day but the man on finding the chance just left the office to again go back to his schedules which made Yibo irritated so he was about to get up to bring his man back from the meeting and scold the said person for leaving like this when a thought suddenly clicked his mind which made him smile as he immediately took out his phone to dial Lele's number which was answered within one ring as Yibo spoke, "lele, no need for any formalities, just listen to me!" And the bodyguard who was startled by the young actor when heard him immediately spoke, "yes sir!" And Yibo taking this as a cue spoke, "lele, bring two informal suits for me and Mr. Xiao, and then arrange a car for me!" And lele on hearing this got confused as he was not able to understand this request of his boss but didn't ask any questions as he spoke, "yes sir!" And with this ended the call as Yibo spoke, "if you can't rest here, then I have my own way to make you relax ge!" And with this settled on the sofa with his phone and started waiting for the bodyguard to arrive.

It was after ten minutes a knock was heard on the door and Yibo who has been busy with his phone when heard the knock came out of his daze to only straighten himself as he spoke, "come in!" For lele to only come inside the office and as soon as lele entered he spoke, "sir, your clothes!" And Yibo on hearing this immediately spoke, "thanks lele!" As he with a pause spoke, "did you arrange a car?" And lele on hearing this nodded his head as he spoke, "yes sir!" Making Yibo smile as he spoke, "thanks lele!" And with this Lele excused himself as he left the office leaving Yibo alone who on seeing Lele has left immediately opened the bags lele has brought and seeing the clothes lele has brought made him smile as he spoke, "good one, lele!" And with this left the area to only enter the bedroom of the young heir to get ready.

It was at 6:30 pm the young heir entered his office after a tiresome meeting and the moment he entered his office he searched for the peace of his life as after a hectic meeting all he need was Yibo but he on not find the boy on the sofa made him frown as he was expecting to see his love sleeping but on not finding the boy their made him frown and he was about to move to check on the boy that where he went and was about to leave but stopped in the middle as a voice was heard which made Zhan turn around to only see his life entering the office from the bedroom located in the office and as soon as he saw the boy he felt his heart beat rising as the boy with a wide smile was looking so ethereal to him as he froze on his place not even noticing that the boy has moved toward him to only come out of his daze when he felt a pinch on his shoulder.

Yibo after getting ready stepped out of the young heir's office bedroom to only found Zhan standing there and Yibo when saw the man felt a smile appearing on his face so he with a smile he moved toward him as he spoke, "Zhan ge!" But to his dismal, there was no response from the older which made him frown so he again spoke, "Zhan ge!" And this time when he got no response he just pinched on the older's shoulder making the man groan in pain.

Zhan when felt the pinch on his shoulder came out of his daze as he spoke, "it hurts Bo!" As he rubbed the area where the younger pinched and Yibo on seeing the action of the young heir looked at him with a smirk as he spoke, "serves you right, Mr. Sean!" And Zhan on hearing this looked at Yibo who is all ready and seeing the boy like this made him frown as he spoke, "you going somewhere?"

Yibo who has been looking at Zhan when heard him with a smile spoke, "yes!" And Zhan on hearing this was about to speak when Yibo again spoke, "but not only me but we are going somewhere!" And Zhan on hearing this frowned as he spoke, "what do you mean Bo?" As he was not able to understand what the younger meant by this and Yibo on seeing the confusion of the older took his hand as he pushed him inside the office bedroom as he spoke, "your clothes are kept on the bed, Mr. Sean, so just get ready fast!" And before Zhan could speak anything he close the door making the young heir taken aback as he was not expecting such a childish act so he just let a chuckle as he left to get ready according to the instruction by his little husband and it was after fifteen minutes the young heir was ready and after glancing at himself once in the mirror he stepped out of the bedroom.

Zhan after getting ready stepped out of the bedroom to only find Yibo sitting there with his phone as if searching for something and the young heir seeing this moved toward him as he spoke, "yibo!" And the young actor who has been busy with his phone when heard the older immediately lifts his head and on seeing the older ready he immediately stood up from his seat as he spoke, "ready old man!" And Zhan on seeing the excitement of Yibo let a smile as he spoke, "yes bo!" As he with a pause continued, "so where are we going?" And Yibo on gearing his man let a chuckle as he spoke, "you will know soon, old man!" And with this hold his hand as both of them left the office to only enter the personal elevator of the young heir as Yibo looked at Zhan and the older on feeling gazed at him understand what the younger wants to imply so he just pressed the button for the personal parking, to only open at the floor after five minutes and as soon as the elevator opened Yibo ran outside not even waiting for Zhan making the young heir startled as today his husband is behaving very secretly not telling Zhan anything and even if Zhan asked something the only reply he got is wait ge, you will know.

The moment Yibo left the elevator he moved toward the place where the team of the bodyguard had been standing and reaching there looked at Lele as he spoke, "lele car keys!" And Lele who has been talking with John when heard the younger immediately moved toward him as he bowed and spoke, "good evening sir!" As he took out the car keys and placed them in yibo's hand as he spoke, "sir, here are the keys!" And Yibo on hearing this smiled as he spoke, "thanks ge!" And with this turn around to only found Zhan standing behind him with a curious smile.

Yibo on seeing Zhan standing behind him spoke, "Ge, shall we?" And Zhan who has been watching the proceedings in front of him when heard Yibo released a sigh as he spoke, "yes!" As he with a pause added, "but where?" As he now really wants to know the reason for the action of his beloved husband and Yibo on hearing the young heir knew that the man is getting curious as he with a smirk spoke, "you will know soon!" And before Zhan could speak anything he took hold of his husband's hand as he dragged him to the Audi Lele had made ready and reaching their made Zhan settle on the passenger seat and after making sure the older has settled on the passenger seat ran toward the driving seat and after entering it turn on the car engine as he looked at Zhan and spoke, "you are going to enjoy it ge!" And with this, the car left the corporation compound followed by the two security cars.

The car which left the premises of the Xiao corporation at around 7'o clock has now been traveling on the outskirts of Beijing Yibo is driving while Zhan is sitting down on his seat quietly suppressing his curiosity as no matter how hard the young heir wants to know where they both are going all he received was silence or a smirk and now Zhan has stopped asking him any question as he knows the more he will try the more sarcastic response Yibo will give so he just decided to keep quiet as he turned his direction toward the window of the moving car and started watching the passing scenes as he started enjoying the nature and Yibo seeing his Zhan ge looking outside smiled as he knows that the older need this break as he after some time spoke, "old man!" And Zhan who has been looking outside when heard the younger hum in response as Yibo spoke, "old man, have you ever tried to enjoy your life as just Xiao Zhan?" And Zhan who has been looking outside when heard Yibo's question immediately looked at him as he was not able to understand what the young actor wants to imply so he spoke, "what do you mean Yibo?" And Yibo on hearing the young heir spoke, "what I mean is that a single day where you are not the great CEO of XIAO CORPORATION, SEAN XIAO ZHAN, but a simple man, just Zhan!" And Zhan when heard Yibo just smiled a little as he has always thought about this a single day where he will be just Zhan, not Sean Xiao Zhan, a day where he can enjoy his life like a simple resident of the country but his work never allowed so he just released a sigh as he spoke, "yes!" As he with a pause added, "but I was never able to do so?" And Yibo who has been listening to Zhan spoke, "and why so, gege?" And Zhan on hearing this let a chuckle as he spoke, "because my work never allowed me to do so!" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "what if you get a chance to enjoy just a few hours as a commoner what will be your response ge?" And Zhan on hearing this with a smile spoke, "I will be happy, Yibo!" As he looked outside and spoke, "sometimes I feel that I should really leave those boring files and meetings to only roam in streets filled with commoners who will not know me!" As he with a sigh added, "but it will never happen!" As he again started looking outside reminiscing about his life which has been throughout luxury and rules, never given him a chance to enjoy it as being the heir of the Xiao Corporations brought him responsibilities and an image to maintain but never freedom and the moment Zhan thought that he could enjoy his life a little, his parents died and at the young age of 18 years, the boy was left alone with a new position to handle and as Zhan is thinking about all this he didnt even realized that the car has stopped to only come out of his daze as he heard Yibo's voice.

It was at 8 p.m. the car stopped as Yibo spoke, "Old man!" And Zhan who has been looking outside the window when heard Yibo turn toward him as he spoke, "yes!" And Yibo on getting the attention he wants spoke, "we reached ge!" And Zhan on hearing this immediately looked outside to only find a footpath covered with lights and the young heir on seeing this got confused as he spoke, "where Yibo?" As he with a pause added, "there is nothing here!"

Yibo on hearing the young heir smiled as he spoke, "because we have not reached there!" And Zhan on hearing this spoke, "then why have we stopped here?" As he is not able to understand when they both have not reached the place where Yibo wants to go then why the younger have stopped the car and Yibo on hearing this let a chuckle as he spoke, "because we are going to travel this path to reach the place where I want to go!" And Zhan on hearing this spoke, "okay!" As he knows that if he will ask any other question he will not get any answer so he just agreed with Yibo making the latter smile and with this was about to get out of the car when he felt someone holding his hand so he immediately turned around to only found Yibo looking at him and before Zhan could speak Yibo spoke, "Ge, you can't leave without wearing this!" As he took out a gold and silver mask to only put it in front of the Young heir making Zhan frown as he was not able to understand the younger words but what confused him the most is the mask in Yibo's hand.

Zhan on hearing the younger looked at the mask and then back at Yibo as he spoke, "and why so?" As he is not able to understand the action of his husband and Yibo on hearing this let a chuckle as he spoke, "because I don't want someone to recognize the great Ceo and young heir of Xiao corporation!" But before Zhan could speak any other question Yibo spoke, "gege, wear it!" As he in a childish voice whined, "please, we are getting late!" And Zhan on hearing this released a sigh as he took the silver mask to only wear it making the young actor smile as he took the golden mask and after wearing it spoke, "now, we both are ready!" And with this, both of them left the car to only move toward the illuminated path with Yibo.

The couple after leaving the car started walking on the illuminated path and since the young heir didn't know where they were going he has held onto Yibo's hand protectively as he didn't want the boy to get lost or worst the boy to get injured and Yibo when felt Zhan's grabbing his hand was shocked but when felt a tightening of the older's hand on his realized that the older is worried for him as he knows that he has brought the older to somewhere he has no idea about so his guards are up and Yibo on feeling the protective nature of his husband smiled as he tightened his hold on his husband hand and with this, both of them proceed toward the destination where Yibo wants to go and it was after a few minutes, some voices were heard startling Zhan as he was not expecting this in the middle of nowhere so he loomed at Yibo who on feeling the gaze on him smiled as he spoke, "proceed gege!" And Zhan on hearing this looked at Yibo as he spoke, "are you sure?" And Yibo on hearing the older let a laugh as he spoke, "yes ge!" And Zhan taking this as a cue started walking again to only stop after a few seconds as he saw something which he was not expecting to see as in front of him was a village street all lit up with lights and people wearing masks the same as both of them has worn.

Zhan on seeing this place was shocked as he looked at Yibo and asked, "what place is this?" And Yibo who has been looking at his old man's every expression when heard him let a smile as he spoke, "a place where you can be just Zhan, not SEAN XIAO ZHAN!" And Zhan on hearing this looked at Yibo with widened expression as he was not expecting hearing this and Yibo on seeing the action of the young heir spoke, "gege, this place is CLOUD RECESSES, my secret place and at this time of every year I come here to be just Yibo, not Wang Yibo, the superstar only Yibo!"

Zhan when heard Yibo understood what the younger wants to imply so he just smiled as he looked around and spoke, "that's a great place, Bo!" As he with a pause spoke, "but may I know what is happening here!" As seeing everyone wearing masks like them made him curious and Yibo on hearing this spoke, "it's PROM LANTERN FESTIVAL!" And Zhan when heard the young actor got confused as he spoke, "what is that!" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "it's a festival which is a fusion of Chinese and western tradition which the village celebrates every year!" As this is the place Yibo found unexpectedly while roaming in the night as he was having a shoot nearby and to just relax himself he just left the shoot at the break time to only found this wonderful village located away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Beijing and Yibo when found the village, it was having a festival which attracted Yibo so after covering himself in a proper attire so that no one can notice his real Identity, he entered the place to only ask the local about what is happening here and during that investigation he came to know that this is cloud recesses and during this period of the year the village celebrates a unique festival known as "PROM LANTERN FESTIVAL!" which Is a fusion of the western prom and Chinese tradition and Yibo who got fascinated by the name of the festival got excited as he asked the villagers who can join it and the villagers told him that anyone can join it all they need is a ballroom mask so that noone can identify anyone real identity and everyone is treated equally and from that year Yibo started coming every year to this festival to just enjoy his life as a commoner but not as the star Wang Yibo.

Zhan on hearing this smiled as he spoke, "that's a great concept for a celebration!" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "yes it is!" As he turned toward Zhan as he put his hand in front of Zhan as he with a smile spoke, "so will my husband be my partner for this prom lantern festival!" Making Zhan shocked as he was not expecting this but on hearing the younger he just let a smile as he spoke, "sure, love!" Making Yibo smile widely as both of them left the place where they were standing to only enter the busy streets of cloud recesses.

Yibo on getting his husband's approval to be his partner at this festival immediately took hold of the older's hand to only enter the busy streets of the cloud recesses which has been filled with people wearing similar masks as Yibo started showing Zhan everything he find interesting in the past years when he used to visit this place alone and if he used to find anything interesting he used to ask the locals about it but today he didn't need to ask anyone as today he has someone with him, with whom he can share his curiosity with and Zhan who has been listening to Yibo was shocked to see how curious his little husband is about anything he sees and on knowing what it meant there is the smile of accomplishment and as both the couple is roaming in the streets Yibo's eyes suddenly got a glimpse of something which made him stop in his steps and Zhan who has been with Yibo when saw his stopping was a little bit startled as he spoke, "what happened love?" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "just come with me!" As he dragged his husband to a small shop which got his attention.

Yibo after reaching the shop grabbed the thing which got his attention as he grabbed the thing and immediately showed it to Zhan and spoke, "old man, how are they?" As he showed two necklaces having a lock and key.

Zhan who has followed Yibo when saw the necklaces smiled as he spoke, "they are great Yibo!" As although the pendant are quite small but looking at them was giving a very aesthetic vibe to the young heir and Zhan who has great taste in jewelry when saw the pendants couldn't help but to praise the design and Yibo on getting his husband praise for the things he chose felt a satisfaction in his heart as he spoke, "so can I buy them?" And Zhan on hearing this let a laugh as he spoke, "yibo, if you want to wear them you can buy them, you don't need to ask me!" As he is not able to understand why his husband asking him if he can buy them or not.

Yibo on hearing this looked at Zhan as he spoke, "I am not asking it for myself!" As he with a pause spoke, "I am asking this because I want you to wear one!" Catching Zhan off-guard as he looked at Yibo with wide eyes and Yibo on feeling the gaze on him spoke, "will you wear one of it ge?" And zhan on hearing the younger came out of his daze as he spoke, "y... Yes!" As it was quite hard for him to believe that Yibo is buying something like this for them and Yibo when heard the young heir immediately took this as a cue immediately moved toward the old shopkeeper as he spoke, "good evening granny!" As he pointed toward the necklaces which were hung on the window and spoke, "I want to buy them, granny!" And the elder lady on hearing this smiled as spoke, "sure my boy!" And with this she moved toward the place where the two necklaces were hung as she handed them to Yibo and the young actor on getting the necklaces smiled as he spoke, how much for them?" And the granny on hearing this spoke, "50 yuan, son!" And zhan who has been standing behind Yibo when heard the lady immediately took out his wallet to pay for the necklaces but before he could pay for the thing Yibo was done with the bill making Zhan frown as he spoke, "love I was paying for them!" And Yibo when heard Zhan spoke, "but I already did, mister!" As he with a pause spoke, "and moreover I was the one to aee them so I should pay for them!" And Zhan on hearing this was about to speak when Yibo glared at him which made Zhan stop with his words making Yibo satisfied as he spoke, "let's go!" And with this, both of them left the shop and after leaving the shop Yibo turned toward Zhan as he handed him the necklace with lock as he spoke, "this is for you he!" And Zhan on hearing this took the necklace as he spoke, "thanks Yibo!" As he put the necklace around his neck making Yibo smile as he also started putting the necklace around hia neck but before he could do so he felt a hand holding his hand which made him turn around to only find Zhan looking at him with a smile.

Zhan after wearing the necklace around his neck looked at Yibo but when saw him wearing the necklace immediately moved toward him to only take his hand and on getting the boy's attention bent at the boy's ear level spoke, "I will do it yibo!" And Yibo on hearing this felt his face getting flustered but he didn't protest to only hand the necklace to Zhan making the young heir smile who took the necklace from the boy's hand as he moved toward the back of the boy to make him wear the necklace and after having the lock of the jewelry he planted a kiss there making Yibo feel a shiver down his spine as he was not expecting that his husband will do something like this.

Zhan after planting a kiss on the boy's neck moved toward his ear as he spoke, "you are beautiful, My love!" And with this spoke, "so shall we?" And Yibo who was flustered due to the young heir's action when heard him immediately came out of his daze as he spoke, "w... Where?" And Zhan on hearing the boy with a smile spoke, "to have dinner!" And with this hold his hand to only enter a restaurant nearby to have a well deserve dinner as both of them have missed their lunch and Zhan didn't wanted the boy to miss his dinner too.

The couple after having their dinner left the restaurant to only enter the place where a dance floor is placed at the center of the area and many people has surrounded it as they are cheering for the people who are dancing in the middle and Yibo who loved dancing had dragged Zhan to the area and as both of them are watching the dance Yibo spoke, "gege you know how to dance?" And Zhan on hearing the younger spoke, "kind of!" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "haha, what do you mean by that ge?" And Zhan on hearing this spoke, "means I learned dancing as a part of some traditions but never took it for passion!" And Yibo on hearing this spoke, "oh!" And was about to continue when an announcement was made, "Next song is for the couples present here!" And Yibo on hearing this looked at Zhan with a mischievous smile as he spoke, "time to show your dancing skills, Mr. Sean!" And before Zhan could speak anything Yibo grabbed the hand of the older to only drag him to the dance floor as he spoke, "let's start ge!" And as soon as the young actor spoke these words the music started playing as Zhan kept his hand on Yibo's waist and Yibo circled his hand around Zhan's neck as they both started swaying with the beats of the music and Zhan started singing in the ear of his love...

Sang Zhan as he looked at his husband who is looking at him with a smile on his face as he continued...

And with this joined his forehead with Yibo to only close his eyes as he wanted to savor the moment...

Well, I found a man, stronger than anyone I know

He shares my dreams, I hope that someday we'll share our home
I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets
Sang Yibo as he remembered the times when he has confided his deepest secret in Zhan...

As he looked in Zhan's eyes who has opened his eyes listening to the younger singing...
I know we'll be alright this time
Darling, just hold my hand
Be my man, I'll be your boy
I see my future in your eyes

Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass

As he tightened his hold on zhan making the young heir smile as he felt his heart racing...

And as they both continued...
While listening to our favorite song
When I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful
I don't deserve this
Darling, you look perfect tonight
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark

As Zhan swirled Yibo around his finger making the boy giggles as they continued..

Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favorite song
I have faith in what I see
Now I know I have met an angel in person
And he looks perfect

And as the song completed Zhan looked into Yibo's eyes as he sang...
I don't deserve this
You look perfect tonight
Remembering his life which feels like a dream to him so to cherish this memory he just closed his eyes and joined his forehead with Yibo as he started swinging with the music being played...

Yibo on sensing that the young heir has stopped singing spoke, "Zhan!" And Zhan on hearing this looked at the boy as he spoke, "yes!" And Yibo on hearing this looked at him as he spoke, "gege I have decided something!"

And Zhan on hearing this looked at Yibo as he spoke, "what love?" And Yibo taking this cue planted a forehead kiss as he looked directly in Zhan's eyes as he spoke, "to give this marriage a chance!"

And Zhan when heard Yibo was shocked as he felt the time stopping as he looked at Yibo with shocked eyes and spoke, "w... What?" And Yibo on seeing the young heir smiled as he spoke,

"Let's give this relationship, this marriage a chance ge!"

"Let's be friends, let's know each other!"

"And be there for each other!"

As he looked at Zhan and spoke,

"Let's be husbands who will be always there for each other!"

And after speaking this he captured Zhan's lips with his making Zhan shocked as he was not expecting this but after some time started responding to Yibo as he tightened his hold on Yibo making the boy smile between the kiss.

It was after a few minutes Zhan broke the kiss as he looked at Yibo with tears eyes and spoke,

"Thank you Yibo for giving this marriage a chance!"

As a tear slid from his eyes and Yibo on seeing the tear immediately wiped it as he spoke, "no crying gege!" And Zhan on hearing this chuckled as he spoke, "okay husband!" Making yibo smile as he planted a kiss on Zhan's cheeks and the older was not able to control himself as he again captured the boy lips showing his all emotions and happiness for the new life they are going to start from today...
