At XIAO MANSION

The clock is striking at 4:00 am and the mansion of the richest man in China is bustling with sounds of the servants working as it is a rare sight to be seen because the young heir always gets up around 6:00 am so the morning in the mansion begins at 5:30 am but yesterday when the young master of the mansion returned from the work he told the butler of the family that he is going to leave for the office at 5:30 am making the butler shocked as he didn't expect the young heir to be so engrossed in his work.

Butler Han, when heard his master wants to leave for office, wanted to protest because of the way his master was looking he was worried for his health because for the past five days he has seen him working continuously while skipping his meals and only to return late at night but stopped because he knows the change in the moods of the young heir for past one week which made his master like an ice and hard to approach. He has seen his master like this last time when his parents died but that time he knew that his elder master's best friend, Mr. Wang provided the love and care to him but this time Mr. Han is afraid as he does not know how his young master will become the same cheerful person he used to be.

The second floor of the mansion is still silent as per the liking of the young heir as the servants love their jobs and from the last one week no one has dared to make any mess because by looking at their boss they felt like he is a cold ruthless emperor of a dynasty who is ready to kill and if they messed up with him, they might lose their lives.

The second floor, as well as the young heir's room, has been falling into silence as only a light snore of the said person who is sleeping peacefully when suddenly a loud shriek of the alarm was heard disturbing the silence of the room as the man in the room opens his eyes.

Zhan who had been sleeping peacefully when heard the alarm with a groan woke up from his sleep as he moves out of his bed to only enter the shower to be ready for his work. It was after twenty minutes he felt refreshed so he turns off the shower to enter his walk-in closet to get ready.

It was at 4:40 am the young heir got ready as he glanced at himself in the mirror and looking at himself he realized how disheveled he has become in as one week but he shrugged his thoughts away as today he just want to try to be happy as today is his marriage anniversary. It's his third marriage anniversary today and the thought itself makes him smile so he looks at himself in the mirror once again as he leaves the walk-in closet and enters his room to grab his files and phone which are kept on his nightstand when his gaze fell on the photo frame which is kept on the table.

Zhan when saw the photo frame smiled as he took the frame in his hand and settles on his bed as he caress the photo in the frame and while caressing it he speaks,

"A very happy marriage anniversary to the only star of my life!"

"Zhan Ge loves you!"

With this, the young heir kisses the forehead of his husband in the photo as he caresses the photo for the last time and keeps it back on the table as he moves out of the room to descend the stairs.

It was at 5:00 am that zhan reached the dining room of the mansion where butler han and Xu Ma are waiting for him.

The butler and the elder lady when saw their master coming stood up and bowed to him as they speaks, "Good morning, young master!" And with a pause continued, "A very happy marriage anniversary to you and master Yibo!"

Zhan hearing this just hummed in response as he speaks, "thank you, uncle han and Xu Ma!" As he settles down at the table and speaks, "is the breakfast ready?"

"Yes sir!" Came an immediate really from butler Han who starts serving the young heir as the breakfast begins on the table.

It was at 5:20 am Zhan was down with the breakfast so he stood up from his seat as he speaks, "is the car ready, Mr. Han?"

"Yes sir!"

"Good!" As he moves from his seat towards the door where the butler hands the briefcase and overcoat to Zhan who then moved out of the mansion where Mr. Lam is waiting for him.

Mr. Lam on seeing his boss arriving runs to open the door and as Zhan slides in he closes the door to only enter the driver's seat as the car leaves for the Xiao Corporation followed by the two security cars.

The car is moving smoothly on the roads of Beijing as it's the early morning hours. The young heir who is sitting in the car just takes out his phone as he opens a contact to type a message,

"What's Yibo's schedule for today?" And press the sent button to only wait for a reply.

After a few minutes, a ding is heard from the phone to indicate the arrival of the answer so Zhan opens it as he reads,

"He is having a photoshoot today at 10:00 am followed by the shooting of the advertisement for the same cause. He also has to attend a charity event at 2:00 om which will end at 5:00 pm. Then he is going to meet Han Ge for DDU SHOOT!"

Zhan after reading the text released a deep breath as he speaks, "Wake him up at 9:00 am and prepare the breakfast for him!"

"Aye Aye sir!" came an immediate reply which made Zhan smile.

"And please take care of him for me!" Wrote Zhan.

"I will do it, buddy!" Came the response.

"Thanks, Cheng!" Replied Zhan as he closes the phone when suddenly a ding was heard so Zhan opens the text from Cheng which read,

"Happy Marriage Anniversary to the best husband of Yibo!"

Zhan reading the text chuckles lightly as he texts back, "thank you, Cheng!" And with this closes his phone as he starts looking outside the window of the moving car.

The car is moving at its pace while Zhan is looking outside as he sees the passing sceneries when his mind suddenly drifted to a text message that Cheng sent him wishing him a happy marriage anniversary but the thing which caught his attention was the last four words which stated, BEST HUSBAND OF YIBO.

Zhan on reading those four words felt a little bit conflicted as to how can he be the best husband when he doesn't even dare to meet his husband. He knows that he is a coward in this case but he can't even help himself when it comes to Yibo. He is scared to lose him to lose the only member who is left in his family whether he meets him or not, it doesn't matter to him whether he is with him or not all he wants that Yibo to be safe and happy.

He knows that he behaved like a spoiled and stubborn person in front of Kuan three days back when the older asked him to also meet yibo and tell him that he loves him. He got scared that time as he didn't want to lose Yibo at any cost because he knows that the younger was forced into a marriage he never wanted to have which is one of the reasons that the younger put forward that request and Zhan who has always respected other feelings before him with a smile accepted it as he felt that it is the only way he could protect the younger as he has promised his paa. He just wanted the boy to be happy at that time which made him agree with this stupid request of the younger as it is said that when it comes to love there is no logic it's only one thing that matters is to make your loved one happy at any cost even if it means to sacrifice your happiness which Zhan did just to make Yibo happy and Zhan at that time has been head over heels for Yibo.

As the young heir is thinking about all this the car comes to a halt which makes him come out of his daze as he looks outside to only realize that he has reached his office.

Zhan straightens himself as Mr. Lam opens the door for him as he steps out of the car and after stepping out of the car he enters the reception of the corporation to move toward his personal elevator and after entering it presses the button for 80th floor and after a few minutes, the elevator opens in his office with a ding.

Zhan after entering his office moves toward his chair where Wen Ning is standing and is waiting for his boss with a cup of coffee.

Wen Ning when saw his boss coming stood as he bowed to him, "good morning sir!"

"Good Morning ning!" Replied Zhan as he settles on the chair and Ning taking this as a cue passes the coffee to Zhan.

Zhan takes the coffee mug in his hand as he speaks, "Has Mr. Kuan arrived?"

Wen Ning when heard the question was about to speak when suddenly the door of the office was opened indicating the arrival of someone.

Zhan when heard the door opening looked up to only found Kuan entering the office.

Kuan on entering the office moves toward the place where Zhan has been sitting and on reaching the place he spoke, "good morning, Zhan!" And then with a pause continued,

"A very happy marriage anniversary to you, buddy!"

Zhan when heard it takes a sip of the coffee and with a slight smile speaks, "thanks, buddy!" And then looks at Ning who had been standing beside him, "Ning is the meeting room ready?"

"Yes sir!" Came an immediate reply.

Zhan hearing this turns toward Kuan as he speaks, "has the clients from the United Kingdom arrived?"

"Yes, Zhan!" Replied Kuan.

Zhan hearing this spoke, "so shall we move?" As he stood up from his seat to leave the office followed by Kuan and Wen Ning.

It was at 6:30 am Zhan entered the meeting room with Kuan and Ning to only be greeted by three people who had been sitting there.

Zhan after entering the room moves toward the place where the three gentlemen were standing and on reaching there speaks, "Good morning, Mr. Philip I am sorry I made you wait!"

Mr. Philip who is a man in his fifties when heard the apology smiled as he spoke, " no need to apologize Mr. Xiao. We just arrived five minutes back only!"

Zhan hearing this smiled as he speaks, "so shall we start the meeting?"

"Sure, Mr. Xiao!" Came an immediate reply and with this, all the six people settled in the meeting room as the discussion about the opening of a new interior design company in collaboration with the British designers began. Zhan has a fascination with interior design as he found this branch interesting so during one of the international business conferences he met Mr. Philip who is the CEO and the owner of British Design, the largest interior designing company in Europe. Zhan when met with Mr. Philip discussed his plan to open an interior designing company in China and Mr. Philip was interested in the business idea as he also wanted to expand his business in China.

It was at 8:00 am the meeting stopped and Zhan after stating his points looks at Mr. Philip as he speaks, "I hope you are satisfied?"

Mr. Philip hearing this smiled as he replied, "yes Mr. Xiao it will be a pleasure to work with you!"

Zhan hearing this smiled as he spoke, "you are flattering me, sir." Which made Mr. Philip laugh as he speaks, "see you soon in London!"

Zhan hearing this just nods his head and gives the file to Mr. Philip as the man and his team leave the room.

Zhan after completing the meeting just sits on his chair as he takes out a deep breath and takes out his phone to see the time.

Zhan after seeing that it's already beyond eight takes out his phone and opens a familiar contact with a smile as he types

"A VERY HAPPY MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY TO YOU YIBO. THE ONLY STAR OF MY LIFE!"

Zhan after typing the message smiled as he pressed the send button and kept the phone back in his pocket as he speaks, " Ning call the marketing team!"

"Yes sir!" Came an immediate reply.

It was at 8:15 am the marketing team enters the room and seeing their boss just bowed their head in respect.

Zhan seeing this just nodded his head and with this, the meeting began. The meeting was going smoothly when suddenly a ringtone was heard in the room which made everyone shocked as phones are banned in the conference room but when saw their boss fishing out his phone released a deep breath.

Zhan when heard his ringtone fishes out his phone and as he sees an unknown number calling him frowns but decides to answer it so he slides the answer button as he speaks

"Hello!" To only receive silence. Zhan on getting no answer again speaks,
"Hello, is there anyone on the other side?"
And this time he is about to cut the call when suddenly a voice is heard,

"Hello?"
And Zhan, when heard the voice, is shocked as he knows whose voice it is.

Kuan when saw the expression on Zhan's face know who is on another side so he ushered everyone outside the room.

"Hello!" Spoke Zhan again.

"Is this Mr. Sean Xiao Zhan speaking?"

"Yes!" Spoke Zhan and then with a pause asked, "may I know who is on the other side?" Although Zhan knows who it is he just wants to confirm it.

"IT'S XIAO WANG YIBO, THIS SIDE!" spoke the voice which made Zhan shocked as he was not able the believe that his Yibo had called him.

The voice again spoke, "are you still there?"

"Yes!"

"Actually I wanted to say something to you!" Speaks the voice which makes Zhan confused so he speaks, "yes!"

He heard a deep breath sound on the phone when the voice is heard again, "f...first of all, I want to wish you a happy marriage anniversary"

Zhan when heard it smiled widely as he found the boy stuttering cute so he spoke, "a very happy marriage anniversary to you too, Yibo!" Spoke Zhan.

"Thanks!" Said the voice and then there was a pause as Zhan doesn't know what to speak too when suddenly a voice is heard, " I have a request!"

Zhan when heard it is curious as well as confused but in a sweet voice spoke, "what can I do for you, yibo?"

" I want to meet you today!" Came a voice that made Zhan shocked so he looked at kuan who just smiled at him.

The voice again continued, "I. I mean if you are free I want to meet you!"

Zhan, when heard that Yibo wants to meet him, wanted to jump in happiness but controlled himself as he speaks, "I am free Yibo!"

"Really!" Came an excited reply.

Zhan hearing this chuckled as he spoke, "yes, I am free, you tell me where to meet!"

"9:00 pm at cloud recesses cafe!" Came the response

Zhan hearing this just spoke, "I will be there!"

"Thanks and bye!"

"Bye!" Spoke Zhan as the call ended.

Kuan who has been watching every action of Zhan asks, "who it was?"

Zhan when heard it with a wide smile speaks, "Yibo, my love!"

" what did he say?" Asked Kuan.

Zhan hearing this with a wide smile spoke,

"MY LOVE WANTS TO MEET ME GE!"

" I AM THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE!"
