At XIAO MANSION

The morning sun had risen in the city of Beijing and has illuminated every part of the mansion of the richest man of China, Xiao Zhan, except a single room which is engulfed in the darkness as the windows are covered with curtains blocking the sun's rays which want to enter the room. In this room, Zhan is seen fidgeting on the sheets as he is sweating profusely and tears are rolling down his cheeks as he is dreaming about his worst fears when suddenly he wakes up with a jolt with the sound of the alarm.

Zhan who had been fidgeting on the bed when heard the alarm suddenly woke up from his uncomfortable sleep and looks around to only found himself back in his room. Zhan seeing this is confused as he clearly remembers that he slept near the grave of his mother while he was talking about the miserable life he has and as the heir remembered it tears automatically rolled down his cheek as he felt his heart clenching in pain as he keeps a palm on his left side to calm down his aching heart but to his dismay, he is not able to calm himself down, so he clenched that place hard as he spoke,

"Hey heart, don't hurt me like this, I know you are hurt but you are strong, so please calm yourself!" And to his relief, he felt his heart calming down.
Zhan when felt his nerve calming down is about to move from his bed when suddenly a knock is heard on his door.

Zhan hearing the knock wipes his tear and with an expressionless face and cold voice spoke, "come in!" And with this, the door of the room opened revealing the butler of the Xiao Family who on entering the room bowed to the young heir as he spoke, "good morning, Master Zhan!"

Zhan on hearing butler Han replied, "morning, Mr. Han!" As he moves out of his bed when it suddenly clicks to him that he needs to know how he came back to the mansion when he clearly remembers sleeping in the graveyard so without turning he spoke, "Mr. Han, who brought me back to the mansion?"

Mr. Han hearing this replied, "Sir, your friend master Kuan brought you back to the mansion, yesterday!"

Zhan hearing this is shocked as he doesn't expect Kuan to do it because he clearly remembers that he strictly gave the instruction that no one will follow him, then how does his friend come to know where he is, as Zhan is thinking about this he remembered that he took his security car and all the cars of his are GPS connected so that in case of any mishappening those cars can be easily traced.

Zhan hearing this released a deep sigh as he spoke, "okay Mr. Han!" And then spoke, "call Mr. Lam and tell him to make the car ready, I am leaving for the office within an hour!"

The Butler when heard the instruction is shocked because he clearly remembers the condition in which he saw his master yesterday and from his looks, he felt that his master is in great distress and even master Kuan after making sure that everything has settled told him to ask Master Zhan to have rest for today.

"but master Zhan- " The butler when heard this wanted to speak but was cut in the middle by a cold and icy voice that spoke, "but what?"

The Butler when heard the voice trembled in fear as he knows that when his master uses this voice of his then the instructions given are to be followed, so he spoke, "yes master!" And with this, the butler left the room

Zhan after this entered his shower to calm his nerves down and after 25 minutes he walked out of the shower to enter his walk-in closet to get ready for his work.

It was at 8:30 am Zhan got ready and after glancing at himself in the mirror for the last time he moved out of the room to descend the stairs to only found Mr. Han waiting for him.

Mr. Han on seeing him just bowed as he spoke, "sir the breakfast is ready!"

"I am not hungry!" Came a sharp reply from the young heir as he moved toward the entrance of the mansion where Mr. Lam and the security team has been waiting for him.

The driver and the security team when saw their boss coming felt a chill run down their spine as the air surrounding their boss is too cold. The head of the security, John on seeing his boss approaching nearer ran to open the door for him and as Zhan slides in he immediately closes the door as the latter spoke, "to Xiao Corporation!" And with this, the car leaves the mansion followed by the security cars

At XIAO CORPORATION

The car stops at the main entrance of the corporation and Zhan steps out from it to enter the building. The building in early office hours has been bustling with the sounds of the employees who are working enthusiastically but suddenly the whole reception fell into silence as they see their young boss entering the building and from his looks, one can say that he is carrying a dangerous aura.

Zhan after entering the building just looked around with a piercing gaze and the whole reception area fell into silence as he walked through it to enter his personnel elevator which will lead him to his office. Zhan after entering the elevator presses the button for the 80th floor and after a few minutes, the elevator is opened in his office.

Zhan who was about to enter the office suddenly heard voices from the center of his office which makes him slow down his steps as he finds Kuan and his PA Wen Ning talking with each other.

Kuan who has entered Zhan's office with Wen Ning to keep the files spoke, "Ning, start the schedules of Mr. Xiao from tomorrow!"

Wen Ning, who has entered with Kuan is shocked on hearing this as he knows his boss rarely skips work until it's a business trip or ceremonies he needs to attend so he in a confused state asks, "Why, sir?"

"Because Mr. Xiao is not coming today" replied Kuan as he keeps the analyzed files on the table.

Wen Ning who heard this was about to answer when suddenly a cold voice is heard, " says who?" Startling both Kuan and Wen Ning.

Zhan who heard the words of Kuan decides to reveal himself as he walks in front of them. Kuan on seeing Zhan is shocked as he clearly remembers telling Mr. Han to persuade Zhan to not come to the office because of the emotional stress of yesterday's events.

Zhan just settles in his chair as he looks at Wen Ning and the latter on understanding the boss's gaze gives him the tablet which has the schedules of his day. After reading it Zhan looks at Ning and speaks, "only this much?" Making the PA was shocked as there are already 4 meetings on this list with 2 inspections and it can consume about 7 hours.

Wen Ning on hearing this spoke, "yes sir!"

"What about yesterday's meetings?" Asked Zhan.

"Sir three meetings were postponed!" Informed Ning and then continued, "sir those meetings are rescheduled for next week"

Zhan when heard this spoke, "schedule them for today!" Making both of the occupants in the room shocked.

"Zhan don't you feel-" kuan was about to protest when suddenly he felt a cold gaze on him which makes him stop talking as he knows this aura of Zhan is the one not to mess up with.

Zhan making Kuan silent looks at Ning as he speaks, "Got it, ning!"

"Yes sir!" Replied Ning.

"Good, and call for the next meeting within 10 minutes!" Spoke Zhan.

"Yes sir"

"Let's move Kuan!" Spoke Zhan. Kuan on hearing this releases a sigh as he knows this day is going to be hectic.

At YIBO'S PENTHOUSE

The boy is standing in his room as the winds are blowing from all sides when suddenly he feels a presence behind him. The boy sensing the presence beside him is startled when suddenly the presence speaks, "Yibo my son!"

The boy named Yibo smiles as he hears his father's voice as he speaks, "dad, you came!" And turns around to only found the room empty and filled with darkness.

Yibo on seeing himself surrounded by darkness felt a shiver down his spine as he calls for his father, "dad! Dad! Dad! Where are you?"

But to his dismay, no one seems to be coming so he again calls for his father, "Dad! Dad! Where are you? Please come back bobo is scared!" As tears roll from his eyes as he turns around to search for his father but there is not even a single soul in the room which made him feel terrified as he is searching for someone to hold him and take him away.

After a few minutes, he felt weak as he settled on the floor and started crying like a child abandoned by everyone when suddenly he felt someone covering him. Yibo sensing this at first is afraid but when felt a warmth similar to him smiled through his tears as he speaks, "you came!"

The warmth which has surrounded him replied, "yes!"

Yibo on hearing this is about to turn to see the person but suddenly he felt something pulling him away from that warmth and the boy on realizing this felt scared so he started struggling to release himself but the more he tried to free himself the more he was pulled away from the source of warmth when suddenly he felt him being engulfed by the darkness which made him shout, "NO!"

It has been noon when suddenly a voice was heard in an empty room, "NO!!!"

Yibo who has been fidgeting in his sheets suddenly woke up with a scream from his dream and as soon as he woke up he felt tears rolling down his cheeks. Yibo sensing his tears didn't make an effort to wipe them. He just moved from his bed to enter his washroom to calm himself down.

It was after 15 minutes Yibo came out of the shower to enter his walk-in closet to get ready and as he is getting ready he realized that he is not at the bar but right now at home which makes him confused as he completely remembers sleeping at the bar only which makes him confused about how he ended up here. He is thinking about all this when suddenly a sound is heard from outside which makes Yibo alert as well as hopeful so he with his guard up moves out of his room to enter the living room of his luxurious penthouse.

Yibo who had moved outside the room enters the kitchen only to get a shock as he speaks,

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
