Nandini opened the door ...but the view infront of her shocked her ....

Manik was still in his suit but the only change was he was drunk ...totally drunk ....he couldnt even stand properly ...

M - hatoo !!!...(moving nandini aside ..he walked in )...

N - manik what the hell is this ..aiise koyi peeke atha hai kya ??(annoyed face ..)

M - shhhh!!!!....yeh mera ghar hai ..aur meri marzi ...

Saying this he took a step but trembled ...nandini came infront n held him by his arms ..

N - manik careful !!!(seriously)..

M - leave me ...!!!...(shouted ..moving out of her grip)...

N - manik listen kal na hum din baar betkar jadga karenge ...but now just go to ur room ...(trying to handle him)...

M - Nooo !!!....mai nahi jaunga ..kya karoge haa ..bolo kya karoge !!!(with a tedhi medhi walk ...he sat on couch)...

N - manik dekh mukti athihi hogi ..if she sees u in this condition she will feel bad ...come i will drop u till ur room ...(stood infront of him ...n was explaining him)...

M - huh !!!(with a sad smirk)...mukti will feel bad ...wo tho baath bhi nahi karthi mujhse ..(looking down)...

Now nandinis thoughts came true. She has seen from day one that mukti n manik totally ignore each others presence ...

N - par manik ...kyu ???...(in concerned tone)

M -because of HER ...(in hatred tone)...

N - her ...matlab kon ???(in confused tone)...

M -  mai tume kyu bathau haa ...i ..i dont need anyone get that ...i am happy all alone ...!!!(shouted ..while getting up from couch)...

Nandinis thoughts - huh !!!...sharab ki halath mai bhi arrogance nahi chodh tha ....ayyaippa agar yeh raj uncle kha beta nahi hota naa ...aab tak tho mai room mai jaa kar soo rahi hothi ...aur yeh baar baar kis ki baath kar raha hai ...HER ..HER...god !!...who is she ....nandu tujhe usse kya ...iss kadoos ko pehle room par lekhe jaa before mukti comes ...warna she mi8 feel bad ...or is she habituated in seeing him like this ...gosh !!only god know about this guy ...

He trembled a little while walking ...again nandini came n held him from his hand ...

N - manik ....mai tumari girlfriend nahi hu oki ...jo tume aiisi halath mai sambal legi aur tumari tantrums ko bear karegi ...samaj gaye ...just stop ur acts n come to ur room ...(nandini screamed at the top of her voice as she was tired of his tantrums)

Manik was just starring at her in shock because of her sudden outburst as she took the word girlfriend infront of him ...nandini dragged manik to his room n made him sit on his bed ....

N - listen nimbu panii lane thak hilna nahi samaj gaye ...(again shouted )...

Manik was in shock but now he came out of his trance n seeing her shouting at him like this increased his anger ....

He dragged her by holding her wirst n pinned her to the nearby wall. Nandini was numb to act as no one ever acted like this with her,but maniks this act was kind of new to her.

Their faces were only inches away, she could feel his warm breath on her face. She could smell alcohol from his collars. He was looking at her right into her eyes. She could see immense pain in his eyes ...many unshed tears in his eyes. The fear of loosing people was clearly visible in his eyes.

M - No one ever spoke to me in that tone ...how dare u haa??..(spoke in cold tone without breaking the eye contact)

Nandini was totally into him n was lost in his eyes untill she heard his voice ...

N - manik leave me (struggling to get free from his clutches)...

M - stop ordering me !!!(making his hold more stronger)...

N - manik ur hurting me (his hold was soo strong that ...she got marks on her arms as her skin is baby soft )...

M - I DONT CARE ....samjhii ...now just get out !!!...(left her hand with a jerk n went inside the washroom still in drunk state he couldnot walk properly)...

Nandini was taken aback by his outburst ...she just looked at him blankly untill he closed the door of the washroom ...she came back to her senses n moved out of his room n directly went to her room n locked it ...

She went n sat on her bed ..

What was that !!!...ayyaippa yeh kya ho raha hai. Y didnt i shout back at him. Mai chup kyu hoo gayii . No this is not ME . His eyes, ayyaippa(looking at the ceiling) it had soo much of pain in it. Kya kuch hua hai isske saath jo yeh itna rude behave kartha hai. And y does mukti doesnt talk to him, aiisa kya hua hoga. Aur wo first aid box wo manik ke room ke bahar hamesha kyu rehtha hai ..ayyaippa mujhe kuch samajh mai nahi aaraha ...what should i do. Hum dono ek hii ghar mai reh rahe hai ..aiise bahut saare encounter hothe rahenge ....how will i face him ...aur yeh dad ki stupid promise ..nahi mai uske saath kuch kaar bhi nahi paungi ...agar raj uncle ya nyo aunty ko patha chala tho they mi8 feel bad n more over he is in soo much of pain. Should i talk to him ...naah re baba naah ...if i talk to him wo badkega n it will lead to a fight thatz it. But y am i feeling soo curious about him. Nandini tumara project start hoga 4 days mai aur tu yeh sab ...kya karu ...aur yeh stupid curiosity ...jab tak patha nahi lagaungi chainn se tho betne wali nahi huu mai .....ufff!!..mera kuch nahi hoo saktha ...soo yeah chalo lets find out the mystery of this monster ...pehle i need to know yeh ladki kon hai ...jo wo kal se doo baar address kar chukka hai....n my only source is mukti ..kya mai usse puchhu ...kya wo mujhe bathaye gii ..i dont know but yeah try karne mai kya jatha hai ...atleast untill my project starts iss mission se tho mujhe kuch entertainment mil jayega ...

Mai tho aiisi hii hu ...bahut curious ...aiise kahi saare cheeze meri family mai hai n i love to go deep into that n find out actual mai kya hua tha n also nandini bhi curious hai manik ke iss behaviour se but koyi aur feelingz nahi hai ..i mean atleast not now ..

Nandini slept off after rubbing her wrist where marks were there n muttering abusive words to manik for doing that ....

Next day morning ....
Nandini woke up at 7 n was sitting in her balcony n enjoying the morning breeze ...
Just then she heard a knock on her door ...she went an opened the door ..it was mukti ...

Mu - good morning nandu !!!(hugging her tightly)...

N - oookeyy !! A very good morning to u ...aaj kuch special hai kya ...huh !!..ur soo happy (hugging her back ...n asked her raising her eyebrows)...

Mu - aiisa kuch nahi hai yaar...(blushingly came in ..)..

N - accha....par mujhe tho lagtha hai ...kal raath bahut fireworks hue honge kyu (pushing mukti from her shoulder n teased her )..

Mu - nandu tu bhi naa ...(turning total red)...

N - hahah !!!...i am sooo happy for u mukti ...be happy like this ...like always ...(hugging her from back)...

Mu - awww ...i love u ...(holding her hands )

N - i love u tooo ...but haa abhi ko chodh naa maath  mere liye ..(teased her)...

Mu - shut up yaar (blushed n looked away)...

N - accha subha subha iitni blush maath kar ...aur bathau tum yaha itni subha ..???(in questioning eyes)..

Mu - arrey from yesterday evening i was not there with u naa ..so isliye agaii baath karne ...n moreover mujhe merii classmate kii ghar jana hai ..kuch kamm hai soo now i came here ..

N - wow !! Thatz good chal ...even im feeling soo bored from yesterday ...chalo balcony mai bait the hai .. 

Mu - hmm chalo ...

Both went n sat in the balcony talking about some girl stuffs n nandini was teasing mukti with abhimanyus name making mukti go all red ...they spoke a bit about their careers ...

There was a knock on the door ...

N - aab kon ayya hoga ...??(confusingly)...

Mu - kaka honge ...i told him to bring coffee for us ...wait let me go n bring it ...

Saying this mukti went n took the tray from kaka n came in the balcony with two cups in her hands n handed over one cup to nandini...

N - thanks mukti !!...i badly needed coffee right now !!(smilingly)...

Mu - you are welcome baba ...(smiling back)...

Both we talking sip by sip inhaling the cool breeze ....as morning atmosphere was soo smoothing ...nandini couldnot hold back anymore ...she thought of giving it a try soo she asked mukti ...

N - mukti what am i to u ??

Mukti was baffled by this sudden question ...

Mu - nandu tu aiise kyu pucch rahi hai ...(in confused tone)...

N - mukti bol naa ...(insisted her)

Mu - ( took a deep breath)...nandu u r like my sister ...tume patha hai ..dad mom loves u just the way they love me ...u r no less then me for them n for me u r like aliya ...my sister...my friend...aur mainly my partner in crime (winking at her)...

Nandini giggled at her answer ..

Mu - but suddenly kyu puuch rahi hai ...kuch hua kya ..??

N - nahi ...but mukti agar mai tume tumari family ke baareme pucchu tho will u feel bad ...i mean ..(before she could complete she was stopped but mukti)...

Mu - pehli baath i told naa u r like my sister ...tho even u r my family ...yeh 'tumari family' kaha se ayyi ha ...aur dusri baath ...i wont feel bad agar tu kuch bhi puchege tho ...nandu im telling u this for the last time ...next time kuch puchnese pehle permission mangi naa tho dekh lena kya karungii main...(literally threatening her )...

N - accha baba sorry ...(holding her ears)..

Mu - accha ab puch kya puchna hai (saying this she took a sip)..

N - about manik !!!(she blurnt out suddenly )

Mukti spit out the sip (not literally)...n looked at her in shock ...!!!
