Listening to his voice nandini stopped laughing n ran from there ....
She sat in the car n car moved to her college ....

Here manik was frustrated+angry ....dont know in what all languages he was abusing nandini ...he knew she was a dangerous girl but this much he didnt assume ...

His mood was totally off today he didnt wanted to go anywhere soo he went to his room n started working on the laptop ...due to those big ants bites, his leg was swollen near the bite. He applied some ointment n started working cursing nandini. He mentally ordered himself not to let her go that easily when she will come back.

After few hours he got cabirs call...

C - hello ..
M - haa cabir bol ..
C - bhai aaj office kyun nahi ayya??
M - kuch nahi yar ...bus maan nahi tha ...
C - manik ur fine naa ??
M - haa cabir but why r u asking...??
C - kyun ki pehli baar tune kam ke baat beechme naa lake mujhe wapas answer kiya soo ...(taunted)
M - hogaya tera ...aab bol call kyun kiya ??
C - wo afternoon XYZ hotel mai meeting hai ...Mr. Mehta ke saath tu wo attend karle ..office mai kaam hai wo mai wrap up kar lunga ...kal arav kha birthday hai evening planning bhi karni hai ...
M - cabir u dont need to explain i understand n dont worry i will attend that meeting ...
C - thats perfect ...chal mai Abhay(one of the employee) ke saath meeting ki file bijwatha hu ..
M - oki bye ...

After half an hour Abhay came n gave the file ...

At XYZ hotel ....

( guys Mr. Mehta is nearly of maniks age only ...his full name is Harish mehta)

Manik came even though his foot ached he somehow managed n saw  Mr. Mehta was already seated ...

M - hello Mr. Mehta ...

Mr. Mehta - hello Mr. Malhotra ..please have ur seat ...

Manik sat on the chair opposite to Mr. Mehta's chair ...

After 1 hour of discussion about the project in which they both are going to work together they relaxed ...infact they had lunch along with the discussion ...

After lunch, Mr. Mehta spoke ..

Mr. Mehta - Mr. Malhotra i wanted to know about Mr. Singhania's project ...i mean how it will be this year ...

M - Mr. Mehta ..how does that even concerned to u ..its not about textiles ...itz about machines producing industries ?? (Asked in confusion)

( guys malhotras have a lot of industries ..which involves textile n machine production too)

Mr. Mehta - ohh no ...its not my concern but i have heard a lot about that project itz quite big project ...n i guess this year again they are going to select best company for the production like they did last year ...

Manik became quite for a second as it was the same project on which he didnt pay attention n gave more preference to soha n eventually lost that project n harshad got it ...

Even though harshad got that project later on after sohas betrayal manik worked soo hard that now malhotra industry was on top of saxenas ...

M - yes Mr. Mehta ..that project will be launched in next 4 months ...after that they will collect the source of all top industries n there will be a big challenge among the industries ..it takes almost 3 months ...later who ever wins the project will continue it ...

Mr. Mehta - are u planning for this project ???

M - ofcourse Mr. Mehta ...y wouldnt i ...itz the main project which i want to win at any cost ..i have been waiting from 6 months ( anger was clearly visible in his eyes)...

Mr. Mehta - well then all the best ( said with a genuine smile)

M - thank u ( said with no expression cause damage was done ...manik was drifted back to those days which he didnt wanted to go)....

M - oki ..so now the meeting is over soo lets move then ...( said getting up)..

Mr. Mehta - push ahead Mr. Malhotra ...actually i have another meeting now with Mr. Saxena soo ...

Maniks anger was raising by each second but didnt show it up ..he was about to leave but heard an unpleasant voice which he never in a million year wanted to hear...

M - harshad ( manik grabbed harshads collar) apne limits mai reh samjha ....

Ha - tch tch tch ...dekha harish ..kitna frustrated hogaya hai bechara ...kyu ki last time singhanias ki project nahi mili naa...poor guy...

M - with a smirk " harshad harshad harshad ...tum naa past mai jeena bandh hii karde ....dont think ki i dont know anything ...kitni frustrated singhanias hai tumari company ko lekar kyu ki ur company failed to deliver all the machines on time n now they are literally threatening u ...kyu sahi kaha na "....

Harshas face colour changed cause ...whatever manik told was correct ..infact he was confused how manik got to know all this ...

Ha - "aiisa kuch nahi samjha "...trying to be normal ...

Manik chuckled ...

M - " grow up harshad" ...patted harshads cheek n walked out ...

Manik came n sat in his car ...though he showed harshad his place but harshads words had their impact on manik ..
Manik hit the staring wheel n started the car ...his eyes were red ...anger was building up in him like anything ....he drove the car harshly towards malhotra mansion ...

Here nandini came to the college but she didnt get a second to think about manik ...as soon as she entered mona dragged her to class as today they are going to disclose the topics of the project ..

Nandinis gang got a project on c++ ..which was challenging one ..

From next day they had to start the research n start working on the presentation ...

They came to canteen had their lunch n discussed few points based on the projects n headed towards home as it was 3 in the afternoon already ....

Nandini came out n sat in the car...

Just then she got a call ...

N - "hello papa ..." ..said excitingly as it has been quite a while since she spoke to her father
(Guys nandini speaks to her parents every now n then but she never told about maniks thing ...even she speaks to raj n nyo also just like mukti ...but i have not mentioned ..consider it in coming chapters too as i wont be showing her convo with them more often ..but will show when its needed )...

N - im fine papa ...app kaise ho n mom kaisi hai ..

N - but papa usne mujhe daraya ..aap ko patha hai i didnt sleep the whole ni8 ...n u know how much i love my sleep ...

N.P - nandu ...wo mazak kar raha hoga beta ...i dont know whether u know or not but manik has suffered a lot baacha ...i have seen raj in tears because of maniks sadness ...agar usne tumse mazak kiya hai tho ..he is acting normal with u ...he is changing a bit( nandini remembers the beach incident where manik asks her to heal him...thinking all this guilt eloped in her heart)...aur tumne yeh sab kiya ....jab maine clearly bolatha not to go overboard but still u did ..

N - but papa ...(words deceived her)....

N.P - nandu jake usse maffi manggo ( said in calm tone)...

N - oki ( said in meek voice)...

N.P - and next time se u shouldnt break ur promise ...got it( in ordered tone)

N - hmmm ( in sad tone)...

N.P - baacha im sorry i shouted on u but tum meri intelligent bacchi ho naa ...u understand what im telling right ...( said in calm tone)..

N - hmm papa ...dont worry i wont repeat it ...

NP - thats like my princess .. (nandini smiled listening to word princess)....chalo take care bye ..

After few minutes nandini reached malhotra mansion ...

She entered the house n was moving upstairs ...she heard some sounds likeo breaking of vase n glass shattering into pieces ..as she concentrated on the direction ..it directed to maniks room ...
