when you woke up Mattia was still next to you, it was early in the morning because you read the time on your monitor.

you felt different, you felt.....good.

you looked over to Mattia and admired him, many people would think it was weird watching a person sleep but when a person has so many utterly pretty features it's hard not too.

you heard the door softly open and it was the doctor,

"well your up early." she said softly coming to check off her clipboard things, she noticed Mattia next to you.

"yea, and guess what!" you said not to loudly to wake Mattia.

"what?"

"I think got my full memory back!" you said excitedly.

"that's so good! that means your release paper is getting closer and closer to getting signed." she checked your IV and then removed it to put another one in.

"when do you think I can go home?" you looked up at her but she looked like she wasn't focused on you.

she was looking behind you..

"what's-"

"kara lay back." she had a confused look on her face, like she was concentrating on something.

you laid back on your pillow and she stood up quickly and went next over to Mattia.

you looked at him and he was still asleep so you were confused.

she put her two fingers on his neck and checked his pulse.

"he's not breathing." she said and quickly ran out the room but came back in with different doctors.

you were confused, he wasn't breathing? he was just fine, what was happening.

they brought in another bed and put him on it, everything was happening so fast. they rolled him into another room and you were just left there clueless.

you couldn't even stand up or walk to go and see him.

your hands were slowly starting to shake from anxiety. you took a deep breath and tried getting up.

you put your leg that wasn't broken on the floor and helped your other leg down, it was kind of heavy because of the cast.

you groaned at the pain from moving it.

you saw a wheelchair in the corner of the room so you sat in it and rolled the wheels out your room.

you went into the hallway and had no idea where Mattia was so you rolled around.

you went all they way to the end of the hallway and saw and you didn't see Mattia so you were gonna turn around until you heard a voice.

"hi." the soft voice said.

you looked over and saw a girl, she had dirty blonde hair and was laying in her hospital bed with a pink cast on.

you rolled into the room with your chair and went up to her bed.

"hi." you said back.

"I'm raven."

"I'm kara, how old are you raven."

"I'm 5."

"aw, where is your mommy?"

"I don't have a mommy."

your eyes kind of widened, for a 5 year old her grammar was really good.

"oh I'm sorry."

"it's ok, can you be my friend kara?"

she was adorable, her big green and blue eyes reminded you of yourself when you were younger.

"of course I can!"

"what happened to your leg?"

"oh I got into a crash, what happened to your arm."

"I broke it at the park."

you talked to the little girl for a bit longer, she lived in a orphanage and this was her first time to a hospital. her parents gave her up because they were young.

she knew a lot for her age and that must have been hard for her.

"there you are!" you heard the doctor come in.

"kara I've been looking around this whole hospital for you." she grabbed your wheelchair handles and turned you around.

"sorry, me and raven were getting to know each other."

"that's sweet but you need to get back to your room."

"bye raven!"

"bye bye."

the doctor rolled you back to your room.

"what happened to Mattia?"
you asked after she helped you back on the bed.

"he is fine. he was dehydrated and had a bunch of toxic things in his body."

"like what? like drugs?"

she got quiet answering your question.

"i have to go scrub in a surgery so stay here please." she quickly left out.

he was doing drugs again?

you remember when vinnie kidnapped you and Mattia came to get you and vinnie called him a meth head.

you were confused though, you thought he stopped doing them.

you shook your head and got up again. you had to see mattia. you went to the front desk and asked for his room number. after you got it you used the elevator to go to the third level.

you went to his room and he was asleep.

you went next to his bed and saw how peaceful he looked.

he only had an IV hooked to him and a monitor that monitored his heart and that was it.

you got up and laid next to him.

you felt him moving so you woke up.

"hey." you said to him and he looked around confused.

"why are we in a different room?"

"it's your room, mattia... why didn't you tell me."

he sat up and took a deep breath.

"I could have helped you." you rubbed his back.

"it's not that simple, you were in a coma for 3 months. I thought you were dead. I thought I lost you."

"but you didn't, I'm right here." you rubbed his face.

he shook his head and looked in his lap.

"baby I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere anymore." you hugged him because you felt super bad, it probably was hard for him everyday for three whole months to think you were never gonna wake up.

"I'm sorry." he said softly.

"shh don't be sorry, you're ok."

you hugged him tighter before pulling away.

the doctor came in again and saw you sitting with him.

"kara-"

"I know I know I'm sorry." you said bc you knew you weren't supposed to be in his room.

"actually some one is here to see you."

"oh-, I'll be back."
you kissed mattia's cheek and sat back in your wheelchair, and she came behind you and pushed you.

when you went back into your room you saw the boy sitting in one of the chairs.

the doctor helped you to the bed and put your IV back in and then left out.

"what are you doing here?" you said laying back a bit.

"I wanted to come see you, I heard you were out for 3 months. that's a long time."

"well here you see me, I'm still the same bitch you manipulated into thinking you were a good person."

"I'm sorry, I should have told you I worked with Mattia."

"atom get out."

"kara everyone has a rough past."

"did I ask? No. get out of my room." 

he rolled his eyes and walked out.

you were so tired of everyone stepping all over you, you were ready to be the bigger person.

you would have never thought this would be you. less than two years ago you couldn't even order your own meal.

you turned on the tv and watched a Netflix movie, you were so ready to go home.
