"Ye know, ye've got some balls fer a Chinaman."

"He's Korean." I say, as I hear him say, "I'm Korean." At the same time. I look at him and we laugh as Daryl holds a look of unamusement.

"Ready?" I whisper to the boys. They both nod and off we go, closer to road. Daryl and I stop at the gates, weapons still ready, while Glenn races into the streets. There's running behind us, causing Daryl and I both to turn. Soon, a boy who seems to be in his teens says something I can't pick out. Then he's yelling loudly in Spanish.

"Shut up!" Daryl scolds the boy, shoving his bow in his face. I turn back around to cover Glenn, but see several men running up instead.

"We've got company!" I exclaim, holding my hunting knife up. I keep my other hand down, in case I need to grab my throwing knives. "Back up!" I yell, holding my knife closer to the first mans face. A few of the men run behind me, while three stay in front of me.

"Where's our guns?" One of them ask. I furrow my eyebrows together, earning a punch from the man behind him. I double over, feeling the wind knocked out of me. I readjust my hold on my knife and stab the first man I can get to.

"Ahh! Fuck!" He screams. I stand up and see Daryl fighting off several men as well. When I turn, I see Glenn running to the gate with a scared look on his face.

"Get the guns and go!" I reach down and grab one of my throwing knives. The men around me lose interest in me as they go for Glenn. He drops the bag and then men don't seem to notice. One man grabs him and throws him over his shoulder.

"Put him down!" I yell, throwing my knife into the mans back. He lets out a yell, but doesn't stop moving. Before I know what's going on, I feel the earth leave from under my feet. I look down and notice I'm picked up as well. Well, isn't this fun! I thrash on the mans shoulder and plant my hunting knife into his shoulder. The man yells, but takes the knife out and throws it down. I continue to thrash around, not stoping for anything.

"Mai!" I look at Daryl and send him a small smile. We'll be back, we've got to. I'm shoved into a car between Glenn and the man who took me. Soon, the car speeds off. I elbow the man in his face before reaching over and opening the door. I push him out, but the car stops. I go to grab Glenn's arm to leave, but the man who I just pushed out comes to the door.

"Sweet dreams." That's the last thing I hear before my world becomes black.

I open my eyes and groan, my hand retreating to my throbbing head. No blood, that's a good sign. Once my eyes adjust, I see I'm in a small room with a man next to me. Not just any man though, it's Glenn. I let out a breath of relief before a wild thought runs through my head. Is he okay? Is he breathing? I don't know what happened after I was knocked out. I check for a pulse and after finding one, I sit in a slump. The door starts to open and I go back to my spot.

"See? I told you they're still out." The mans voice who hit me rings in my ears.

"Maybe you hit them too hard." This voice is different, I can't make it out. He hit Glenn too? No one hits my best friend but me!

"They had it coming!"

"How?"

"She pushed me out of a moving vehicle."

"I understand that, it's all you've talked about other then her stabbing your shoulder and getting an arrow to the ass from the redneck." Dixon, you're one tough cookie. Getting beat up by all those guys, but still coming to save my ass.

"I didn't tell you?" He pauses before continuing. "Once I knocked her out, he tried to come at me for knocking her out. He kept saying how we was going to kill me, G! What else was I suppose to do?" Awe. Pretty boy really does care.

"You make them wake up. When their people comes to get them and they're not moving, we're fucked!" Royally fucked.

"I'm sorry, G! Let me just-" He gets cut off by a loud slam. I wait for another, but don't hear it. Right before I open my eyes, I hear movement, so I keep them closed. I feel a breath on my face before I feel a hand grab my face roughly. "What a pretty face. Maybe if I screw it up a bit, G would know I'm a good addition to his crew." It takes everything in me to keep my composure and not beat this man. His grip releases my face, sending my face to fall back down. I hear the door slam again, making me open my eyes this time.

"You okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?" I turn and see Glenn looking at me with worry in his eyes. Before I can answer, he slides next to me and checks my face. "Just a little red, no bruising." I send him a small smile.

"I'm fine. Now let's get out of here." He nods and we stand. I check for my weapons and see they're still there, Glenn's are too. Amateurs. I slowly open the door and grab Glenn's hand, running quietly across the metal bars, the only way out is to go down. I look down and see a guard standing at the bottom. I look at Glenn and nod, him nodding back. I step down one stair while Glenn hides on the side. I clear my throat, getting the guards attention.

"Hey! You shouldn't be out here." The guard scolds.

"I'm bored in there. Wanna make it interesting?" He looks around before coming up. I go into the room first and sit on a stretcher in the middle of the room.

"What are you wanting from me?" I fake a smile and see Glenn come up behind him.

"Well, I would love to see you knocked out the same way your buddies did to my friend and me."

"Huh?" He goes to turn, but Glenn holds him in a head lock, choking the man until he falls limp in his arms.

"You good?" I ask as I check the mans pulse to make sure he's still alive. After finding he is, I look at Glenn.

"Yeah, you ready?" I nod at him before we take off down the stairs. We round a corner but see a ton of guards guarding a door. That's the way out. I look to Glenn and he just nods, seeing what I'm seeing. We turn to leave, but we're stopped by two big men, they grab us and bring us to the men by the doors.

"Look, G." The man holding Glenn says. One of the men smile before standing up. He goes to speak, but a knock is heard at the door.

"Take them to the roof, their people are here." The men nod before walking back up.

"Glenn." He looks at me. I look at my hands and he does the same. I push the tips of my pointer fingers together then back. He nods. So I point to the door we're approaching and he nods again, understanding. I wish I could say this is the first time we've been kidnapped, but it's not. While this is the first time the group knows about, it's not the first for us.

"Stay quiet. G doesn't want you guys hurt. He wants his guns, then you guys are free to go." The men place bags on our heads before bringing us out the doors we were being led to.

"They're my brothers guns." The man holding me laughs.

"And I know the Easter bunny." I scoff before we stop. The small breeze feels nice on my skin. The air out here is wayyyy better than in there. I hear mumbled talking but can't make anything out. A whistle is heard and the bags are ripped from our heads. I look at Glenn, then to my hands. I hold three fingers up, then two, then one. We take this time to tense our arms and shove them to the sides, loosing the grips of the men. They tumble back as we kick them, making them fall down.

"Ready?" His eyes go wide.

"We jump roofs, not jump down twenty feet." I look around a second before I smile, a plan forming in my head as I see T. T's on the next roof over. If we jump over there, he'll get us down.

"Jump the room, T's up there. I'm right behind you." He nods before jumping. I jump off the building as well, but feel the collar of my shirt grabbed and yanked. Damn it! We were home free. I'm jerked back to the ground where arms hold me close, making sure I don't move. Still, I try to struggle. I look down and see the group's faces shocked. Same here guys. I look to Glenn and T before the doors are shut behind me. I'm thrown back into the same room we were held in before G comes in.

"Props to you." I hold no emotion on my face as I look at him. "You came up with a great plan and didn't even get to use it. Now, you're alone and your friends aren't coming to save you." The side of my mouth curls into a smile.

"I know. I'm new, none of them liked me in the group anyway." I hop onto the stretcher and lay back with my arms under my head.

"That's not how it seemed to the cop and redneck." I roll my eyes.

"Cops my brother, he's a nice guy so he'll probably come back. But he'd come by himself since, like I said, no one there can stand me. The red neck only seemed to care because he doesn't want to watch my little girl for me." That's the only reason he'd care. When we were on the road, he told me we were friends but he'd never get attached because of how the world is now. So if I got bit, he'd put me out of my misery for me. He even said he'd have Merle watch Belle.

"You have a little gi-" he's cut off by the door opening and a small old woman coming in. I sit up, but can't understand her since she's speaking in Spanish. They speak a little bit before they head out. "Make sure she doesn't leave this time." The man nods before stepping out. I just roll my eyes as the door slams. These people have no manners.

I look around and see a window. I quickly go to it and climb out. I use my upper body strength and work my way down. I have to stop at a window when I run out of room to move. When I look in the room, I see a bunch of old people. Why would they be protecting these people with the world the way it is? They're at high risk of turning and infecting everyone! I open the window and slip through. I get pretty far across the room before a man yells at me.

"Hey!" I turn to an old man with balding blonde hair. "Who are you here for? I can help." I furrow my eyebrows.

"That's not why I'm here." He smiles at me.

"Are you here to fix the plumbing again? My son, Francisco, says they've got someone coming to fix it." Plumbing? There's no plumbing in this world. Don't they know that? I go to speak, but stop when I hear a really bad cough. I go around the man and see another man hacking up his lungs. The same small woman who came into my room leaves and I walk closer to the man.
