Saiki sat at a cafe with two other fellow psychics he had the misfortune of being associated with. The girl sat in front of her crystal ball and ran her fingers around the glittery and colorful stickers she used to decorate the ball. The boy had been spaced out staring at a teenage girl on the other side of the cafe. She seemed to be drinking her coffee while scrolling through her phone with a very tentative expression.
Saiki glared at the two who seemed to sense the angered psychic and straightened up readying themselves for the pink hatred boys wrath. He simply placed his spoon on top of the coffee jelly and sliced through the dessert before placing the food into his mouth.

"I need your help." He said eventually to the two psychics. Aiura jumped at the opportunity to please the boy and held up her crystal ball.

"Yes, what do you need, Saiki? Money? Luck? Directions to the nearest fast-food restaurants? Love advice?" She asked quickly. Saiki frowned shaking his head.

"Do you need to communicate with a dead soul or something?" Toritsuka asked a little confused.

"I need you to keep an eye on this boy. He almost carelessly told someone I had psychic powers. I don't even know how exactly he knows me." Saiki thought bringing his hand up to his forehead once receiving a small migraine due to him thinking too hard about the boy. He pushed a photo of the boy over to the group. Aiura scratched the back of her head

"I'm not sure about that. Watching an awkward teenage boy is not how I wanna spend my school days." She said feeling worn out simply at the mention of doing such a thing.

"Please. I can't let this rumor spread. You guys could at least confront him about it." Saiki asked once taking another bite from his dessert.

"Sure! We can do that!" Toritsuka agreed without giving it much thought. Aiura scratched the back of her head in thought

"I don't know, Saiki. If Toritsuka and I confront this guy. Wouldn't he find it weird how we knew what he told some random person?" Aiura asked. She didn't see Saiki's pretty irritated expression

"I don't care if it makes me suspicious! Just make sure he doesn't bother Y/n again!" Saiki commanded the two. Toritsuka seemed to perk up at what he said

"You're doing this because Y/n almost found out about your powers?!" Toritsuka yelled with a little bit of excitement in his voice.

"Yes. But I would also prefer he doesn't tell anyone. Tell him to keep it a secret. Or else." Saiki threatened the two who were quick to salute the pink-haired teen.

"Yep! I understand!"

The next morning, Y/n and Akechi both seemed to be walking to school together. While the blonde-haired boy kept the conversation going he would stare at the girl as of waiting for her input. She would provide the occasional affirmation for Akechi to continue with his story.
Eventually, the conversation came to a halt. And what seemed like the first time in his life, Akechi ran out of things to say. He quietly walked next to the girl making sure to glance at her every minute or two. To which she would respond with a quick smile at the boy as if to assure him that she wasn't going anywhere.

Once the two made it to the school building, Akechi split up from the girl once his shoes were on. Y/n had finished placing her shoes on and was about to close her locker when suddenly it closed for her. She jumped at this then stared at the hand firmly placed on her locker. Looking over she was faced with a dark-skinned teen with blonde locks that seemed to flawlessly rest on her shoulders. The girl seemed to lean closer toward Y/n as if to get a better look at her. Y/n shivered slightly at how close she was and held her breath from the closeness

"Weird. You're Y/n, right?" The girl asked curiously while bringing her free hand up to her chin in deep thought. Y/n did nothing except look around at all the eyes that were glaring at the scene. She eventually nodded, answering the girl's question. The girl hummed quietly to herself still contemplating

"I personally don't get what Saiki sees in you. Maybe it's because of how quiet you are." She spoke up trying to solve the dispute in her mind. Unaware of how embarrassed the quiet girl was by her comment

"Who am I kidding. Saiki has always loved average people. That's why he wanted me to do this in the first place. Damn you, Saiki. I can't compete with this girl." The blonde-haired girl cried silently to herself before pulling away. She seemed to take notice of the stares she was getting and pointed at the people

"What are you waiting for?! A kiss? We're not a couple! Get out of here you nosey people!" She yelled shooing away the teens who either ran away or pretended like they were never staring in the first place

"Sorry about those guys. You can call me Aiura!" She smiled offering the girl her hand. Y/n quickly accepted the handshake. Aiura smiled at the opportunity and flipped over her hand examining the girl's palm. She traced a few things on the girl's hand making Y/n flinch slightly at the ticklish feeling that came from Aiura's fingernails gliding down her hand.

"Normal readings. Lame. I just wanted to send you a message while Toritsuka's working on the other guy. You should stay away from Akechi Touma." Aiura said letting go of the girl's hand once satisfied with her reading. Y/n peered down at her hand then looked over at Aiura

"Why should I avoid him?" Y/n asked then paused when not seeing anyone in front of her. She looked around and then saw the girl running away. She just decided to eventually let the weird experience go and continued with her day.
Once in class, she took some quiet time to herself and scrolled through her messages to Kuboyasu ever since the day he left her. It would be just the usual messages like greetings, small rants about her day, or just the occasional 'I miss you.' A small part of the girl wants the boy to read her messages, but an even larger part of her doesn't want him to know just how large his absence impacted her.

Mr. Nekuwara started the class abruptly resulting in Y/n quickly readjusting her slouched position and hiding her phone inside her skirt pockets. Najimi noticed the girl's phone had been out but decided not to put it past her... She did yell at the boy next to her though.

"I give you one job... How could you mess up that badly? I told you only to warn Akechi! Why did you think suggesting it to Y/n was the best idea?" Saiki scolded the two psychics at lunch. The two had been on their knees kneeling down and shamefully accepting the harsh lecture. All while Akechi watched the three. His lips curved upward as he walked over to the pink-haired boy

"Huh? Y/n? Is that what you said? That's what you said right? Why does Y/n matter so much? Do you like Y/n? Is that it? You like her don't you?" Akechi asked. This made Saiki go quiet as he turned to the boy and gave him an annoyed expression almost ready to flick him off of the country. He was tired of people assuming he liked the ordinary girl.

"You almost gave out my identity. Of course, I would be upset if my friend found out. So keep this a secret Akechi Touma. I know where you live." Saiki threatened the boy. Akechi felt himself jump slightly at the boy's attitude and almost felt terrified by the pink-haired boy's threat. The boy simply laughed and gave the psychic a pat on the shoulder.

"I get it, Saiki! Your secrets safe with me. Though im not sure if Y/n would remain oblivious forever. Aiura already gave her the idea." Akechi reminded before leaving the roof of the school.

"We're sorry Saiki!" Toritsuka yelled at Saiki who simply turned his back on the two

"I need to think. Don't do anything stupid." Saiki said shooing away the couple.

"Saiki. I have to ask. Do you like Y/n?" Toritsuka perked up. Aiura tried to drag the boy away from even asking the question when Saiki wanted to be left alone.

"No! I don't like her like that! I just don't want her finding out I'm a psychic! The same goes for everyone." Saiki glared at the two who flinched at his small correction

"Yeah but... You seem to take drastic measures for the girl." Toritsuka said. Aiura had enough of the boy's questions and slapped him in the back of the head. He whined from the pain and she dragged him out the doors.
Saiki had been left alone with his thoughts finally. Of course, he would take drastic measures if anything had threatened him being found out... He took a small pebble and flung it into the air watching it disappear into the sky. The only thing he could repeat in his head was a simple affirmation

I don't like Y/n.
