Okay so I forgot about these chapters in my notes until I just looked there. So Chapter 19 and 20 are now going to be Chapter 21 and 22. Sorry about this guys! -Gracie

Kennedy's POV

"Kasey, you suck at carving a turkey" I say taking the carver away from him.

"Well thanks" he says sarcastically.

"Love you" I say kissing his cheek and continue to carve the turkey.

"Yeah whatever"

Today was obviously Thanksgiving. I was wearing an Aqua colored dress with little triangle cuts on the waist outlined in black and lace around the bottom where it stopped right above the knee. And a pair of black wedges.

Sam walks in and gets the drinks out.

"Hey Sammy"

"Hey Ken, did Kasey quit?" She asks at me carving the turkey.

"No, he wasn't doing it right so I took it from him" I smile.

"Oh ok" she laughs.

"So, is Chase coming over" Sam smirks.

"Maybe, he hasn't told me for sure yet. I haven't seen him since the banquet because we both went home to see our families. Which was only a few days ago but still, I hope so"

My phone starts ringing and it was Chase.

"Speaking of the devil" I smile at her. I answer it.

K- "Hey"

C- "Hey Babe"

K- "Are you coming? If not I completely understand"

C- "I'm right here"

I look up and end it. I run to him and hug him tightly as he picks me up.

"I've missed you" I say.

"I've missed you more" he chuckles. He puts me down and places his hands where my skin was showing on my waist.

"Ooo! Scandalous!" He smirks.

"Shut up" I say kissing him.

"Hey Chase!" Sam says hugging him.

"Hey Sam!"

I got done carving the turkey and called everyone into the kitchen where everything was set out on the island.

I hop up onto the counter and Chase stands in between my legs facing away from me and I wrap my arms around his shoulders.

Everyone gathers into the kitchen and waits.

"How about I pray and we can all dig in?" I say. Everyone agrees and bows their heads.

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank for bringing all of our family and friends here today. Thank you for bringing my boyfriend Chase here with us today. I am so thankful for him. Thank for everyone here, I am so glad to have all of these people in this room in my life! Thank you for the hands that have prepared dinner this evening that it may nourish our bodies. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!"

"Amen!"

Everyone then grabs a plate and starts to fill it up.

"Go get yourself a plate!" I tell Chase, as I massage his shoulders.

"I'm gonna wait for you" he says turning around and rubbing my thighs.

"Suit yourself"

I hop down and pull him over to the island.

*after dinner*

I was gonna be that one mean person and ask everyone to tell everyone what they are thankful for.

I stand up and set my napkin down. I get everyone's attention and start to speak.

"Okay I'm gonna be mean and make you all say what you're thankful for" I say and everyone groans.

"Let's start with Kasey!" I say pointing to him and sitting down.

"Thanks sis" he says sarcastically.

"Well I start off saying that I am thankful for my parents for bringing me into this crazy world and believing in me when I told them I wanted to race. I am thankful for my 3 siblings Shannon, Kale, and Kennedy. I couldn't thank them enough for their support for everything I do. I'm glad to have Kennedy always by my side no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I am thankful for Sammy, being there for me and also giving birth to my son Tanner who I am also thankful for. I am thankful for Chase, he takes care of Kennedy whenever I can't. I trust him with all of my heart, knowing that he will protect my sister from all harm. And I'm also thankful for my amazing friends! And that's all I got"

"Kasey talks!" Chase says.

"It's amazing right?" I giggle.

"How about you Kennedy?" Kasey says.

"Yeah, thanks Kasey" I smile fakely, getting up and he does the same.

"Well first of all, I'm so glad we could all celebrate together. I'm thankful for all of you. I'm thankful for, like Kasey said, my parents for not only bringing me but Kale, Shannon and Kasey into this world so I could annoy them to death once I came, which I was and have been successful. I'm thankful for my siblings, obviously, for always supporting me in dirt racing and racing a little in the 'Nationwide' series and just plain life. I'm thankful for Sam and Tanner, for Sam always helping me with my girl problems when Shanny isn't with me and little Tanner has been such a blessing to my life and he also brings some cuteness and more love into my life. And last but surely not the least, my pretty awesome boyfriend, Chase" I say placing my hand on his back

"He has been through a lot of crap with me and has stuck with me through it all. He's there to bring me up when I'm down, to wipe the tears from my eyes, to make laugh and smile, and to make me feel like the most loved girl in the world. I've known him for such a long time and finally being able to be with him is my dreams finally coming true. I hope to spend the rest of my crazy life with him. I love you" I tell Chase kissing him and then sitting down.

I saw tears in his eyes.

"Are you crying?" I ask him.

"No, of course not, I just got my some of my drink in my eye" he says wiping his eyes.

"You haven't taken a drink in like 5 minutes"

"Okay, maybe I was" he blushes.

"You're adorable" I giggle.

Everyone finishes saying what they were thankful for. Chase pretty much said what I said.

What really made me smile is this...

"I hope to marry her. Who am I kidding? I don't hope, I plan on marrying her, because she is the love of my life and always will be"
