Tom's POV

This had to stop, Tom thought, this Ron had to stop trying to steal his Mione. I just have to find him and then I'll deal with him.

He knew Hermione wouldn't like what he was going to do, so she would never find out. It was three simple spells. Why was he so worried. Hermione would never know.

He was so focused on his thoughts that Tom walked right right past him. He slowly turned his head and his mouth made an o shape. He walked backwards a few steps and then turned around to follow his victim. "Muffliato" he whispered

"Ronald Chase?!" He ask/yelled

Ron whipped around "What do you want" he spat

"What do I want? I want to make you suffer for hurting my girlfriend, my girlfriend." Tom snapped "And you know what? I have just the spells in mind!"

"Crucio!" Tom screamed. "Sectumsempra!" He roared

And almost as an afterthought he flicked his wand and whispered "Obliviate"

The he ran as fast as he could as far as he could get from that scene, he couldn't have anyone suspecting anything.

Later on

A group of teachers and other staff were gathered around the half dead body of Ronald Chase.

"We have to get him to the hospital wing" one of them said anxiously

"Agreed" agreed another

"We will find out who did this" the quiet but fierce voice of Albus Dumbledore cut through the other staff's thoughts as they carried him down to the hospital wing.

Hermione's POV

Where had Tom gone? The whole school was on alert because someone had almost been killed. And Tom had disappeared. Hermione was no fool. But as she was wondering who it was she walked right into Professor Dumbledore "Oh, hello Miss Grace, I suppose you've been wondering what all this is about?"

"Yes sir I have" she replied

"Just half an hour ago we found the body of a student severely injured, we've identified the spells used; Crucio, Sectumsempra, and Obliviate. But more importantly the body we found, it was Ronald Chase's"

Hermione's face went white. Of course she wasn't going to sell out Tom, she loved him, but she was definitely going to have to confront him about it.

Wait did she just say she loved him?

Yes you did Hermione!!!!!!! Just to let all of you know I realize that Sectumsempra was invented by Snape but for the sake of this fanfiction please try not to be bothered by it. Thanks:)
