*Ella's POV*

I sigh as I watch the trees pass by from the backseat of my parents car. Nerves fill my stomach as we grow nearer to my new home for the next school year and 3 other to follow.

"Are you excited, El?" my brother asks.

My brother Eric is two years older than me and goes to this college as a junior. At least I'd have him by my side on this journey.

"I guess," I answer with a shrug.

"Don't look so thrilled," he laughs, making me glare at him. "Don't worry, you'll be fine. I won't let anyone make fun of you. If they do, they'll get their asses handed to them. Besides, I'm pretty close with the pack that lives here. They're good people."

With a grim smile, I turn back to face the window. We have entered campus now. Students were scattered everywhere on the lawn socializing. I gulp, a wave of anxiety hitting me full blast.

"Breathe sis! You're turning blue!" Eric teases.

The butterflies in my stomach are too overwhelming to let me respond so I sit in silence. When the car comes to a halt in front of the dorms, my heart nearly jumps out of my chest.

"Come on El, get a hold of yourself," my mother reprimands, rolling her eyes. "I swear, you act so immature sometimes."

"Leave her alone Eleanor," my father defends me. "It's her first year of college. Of course she's nervous."

I cast my eyes to the ground and hide the ache I feel in my chest. My mother is always yelling at me for something. I never seem to be good enough for her. I'm not the beauty queen daughter she wanted. Luckily my father loves me for who I am; his little princess.

"Eric, come help me get Ella's things from the trunk," my dad calls to my brother.

Instead of just standing around like my mother is, I help my brother and father haul my possessions to my dorm room. When we finish, we stand in the empty room just looking at one another.

"Well, I guess this is where we leave you," my dad says, stepping closer. He wraps me in a hug and I instantly snuggle into his chest. "I love you sweetie. Be careful and stay away from boys."

I laugh and respond, "I love you too daddy."

"Have fun at college Ella," is all my mother says before leaving the room.

"If you need me Els, I'll either be out in the courtyard or in my room. Second floor, room 227, of the boys dorm," Eric informs me, then a smirk appears on his face. "Don't forget to let me know if your roommate is hot."

I roll my eyes at him as he exits the room. I'm left standing in the middle of a mass of boxes in an empty room to unpack myself. Great...

Right as I begin taking items out of boxes and putting them away, the door slams open and hits the wall. Standing there is a tall tanned girl with shiny black hair. She was absolutely gorgeous.

"Oops sorry," she giggles before stepping into the room. "I'm Maia, you are?"

"I'm Ella. Nice to meet you," I smile and hold out my hand.

Giggling once more, she slaps my hand away and pulls me into a hug. I'm frozen in my spot. Well, I didn't see that coming.

"Oh my god is that a Channing Tatum poster I see?" she asks, going over to one of my boxes and picking up the picture. "Mmm, he is one fine hunky piece of man."

"Yes, he definitely is," I agree.

"Girl, I can tell right now that we are going to be best friends. Us Channing Tatum fans stick together!" she exclaims.

A full hearty laugh comes out of my mouth, moving all of the stress right from my body. Wow, I can't remember the last time I laughed like that. This year seems to be going great so far!

"That being said, would you help a Channing Tatum girl out and carry some of my boxes into the room?" she questions.

I nod and proceed to help her with her luggage. And together we begin to unpack, teaming up to make the room our own.

*Reed's POV*

Last year of college. What a shame. I'm actually going to have to step up and take full responsibility for my pack. I won't have time for those sexy little she wolves anymore. Damn, that sucks...But I'll still have them all eating from the palm of my hand and that's all that matters.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I enter the boys' dorms. Sat in the common area are groups of men from my pack and some not, including one of my good friends Eric.

"Hey man!" I greet him with a slap on the shoulder. "Haven't seen you in a while! When'd you get back?"

"I got here around an hour ago, but I had to help my little sister unpack," he replies.

"You mean Eaty Ella?" I chuckle, my whole pack joining me in laughter.

I quickly stop when I see Eric shaking. He's about to turn wolf.

"Do not call her that!" he yells. "I don't give a shit if this is your territory and you're the Alpha. I will beat the living shit out of you if you so much as look at her the wrong way! That photo I showed you was of her when she was younger. Sure, she was a bit chubby, but who gives a fuck?"

"Calm down there killer," I smirk.

He steps closer and gets right in my face.

"I'm fucking serious," he growls.

"Alright, calm down. It's not like I'm interested in her anyways. You don't have to worry about that. I don't date girls of...her type."

"HER TYPE?" he huffs, trying to charge for me, but is held back by a number of my pack mates.

"Not so tough now, are you wolf boy?" I taunt.

His eyes flicker back and forth from brown to black. "You know, if you were really my god damn friend you wouldn't make fun of my family!" he snarls.

I roll my eyes at him. "Dude, I'm just messing with you. I don't give a shit about your little sister. She can go live her happy ass life for all I care. I'm not interested," I say before exiting the building to find tonight's fun.
