"Plus, I'll send Y/n with you, if it makes you feel any better." He offered. MK beamed. "Really?" He asked, looking to the (brunette/blonde/ravenette/etc.) with hope.

Y/n scoffed in disbelief. "Wha- I-" She began before sighing. "..Yeah, okay." She grumbled.

....

After a bit, we finally make it to the shores.

MK frowned a little, stumped. "How am I supposed to get back?" He mumbled. Y/n sniffs the air, noticing a few peach-scented monkeys walking over to a crate and trying to open it.

The rabbit girl walked over, ears twitching before she raised a leg. MK looked over, but before he could ask what was going on, she kicked in the metal. The sides fell, revealing a Cloud Jet.

Y/n frowned. "Uhhh--" "Hooo! Yeah!" Cheered MK. "Thanks, Y/n!" He chirped.

Not a moment later, the male leapt into the driver's seat. "Wanna hop in?" He asked with a teasing smile. The e/c eyed rabbit smiled right back. "I'm good. I'll meet you there." She reassured. MK nodded. "Right! Okay!" He chirped.

MK looked down at the controls and hesitated for a second. "..It can't be that hard to control, it's for ages 8 and up!" He commented before slamming his hand on a button sending the jet flying. Y/n yelped, being knocked back a few feet. She shook the sand out of her
h/c hair and galaxy fur before turning to the direction MK was. She laughed lightly.

The female took a few steps forward before dashing in his direction, leaving a cloud of sand where she once stood.

Then, she took a step and began to run really, really freaking fast upon of Star Steps. MK looked over and had to do a quick double take in order to realize that Y/n was literally running on thin air next to him.

"WOAAAAAH!" He gasped, seeing the small splashes she left behind with each step. Y/n laughed over the wind against her, waving at MK before speeding up to make it to land.

Her heart raced with excitement and adrenaline, before she got an idea.
Y/n leapt higher than before, landing on top of the jet. She hung on, waving at an awestruck MK below her.

Y/n gasps sharply, seeing a familiar green dragon. "Could it..?" She whispered, recalling the day four people and a dragon had sealed away an indestructible weapon for good, never to be seen again.

MK began to yell, losing control on the jet and crashing into Red Son.
Y/n shrieked, turning into her bunny form and using Star Steps to scramble away before she could be blown up.

"MK!" Cried Mei. Y/n looked around before faltering. Ah. So it wasn't Bai Long Ma. Still, it was nice to see a sort of familiar face.

"Oh, my goodness!" Mei continued, "We saw you blast into the fire. I thought you were all like "Phew, ahhh!!" but you're not!" She rambled.

Tang poked at the Red Son who was literally hit with a jet. Y/n hopped over, still hidden behind MK.

"Where'd you get a jet? Way to trash it already..- Wait! Did you find Monkey King!?" Mei asked eagerly.

"Yeah, I did!" He grinned. A pig demon walked over. Y/n exhaled at the appearance of him and the scholar with wide eyes. The stars within her eyes glimmered a little brighter.

Zhu Baije and Tang Sanzang.

Then, he spoke. She smiled. Just like his old self. "So, where is he?" The pig demon asked in his gruff voice.

MK turned. "He said it's up to me. To us." He said with confidence.

"That's anticlimactic." Mei grumbled. "Ohoho," MK chuckled cheekily before reaching behind him and pulling out Y/n by her little bunny scruff.

Y/n squeaked in surprise, kicking her legs. "Would you call her anticlimactic??" He asked. Mei leaned to the side so that MK could see her from behind Y/n's figure.

"Uhhh.. a rabbit?" She asked. Tang walked over, adjusting his round glasses. "Is.. that fur normal?" He asked. Pigsy huffed. "What a total game changer, MK." He agreed with sarcasm dripping from his tone.

Y/n huffed and there was a puff of wisps made from her star-like magic. She crossed her arms and MK grinned, scooting beside her.

"I think I'm a pretty good game changer." The teenager scoffed. Tang fell backwards, Mei gasped dramatically, Sandy's and Mo's jaws dropped, and Pigsy nearly faceplanted.

"WOAAAAH!" Mei shouted, making Y/n wince a little from the sudden change in volume. "Magical rabbit!" Mei whispered and changed her tone after seeing the ranbit girl flinch a tad.

Y/n smiled and MK laughed brightly. "Ha! That was such a cool hero entrance!" He said. "Thanks, MK." She hummed before turning to the gang. "My name's Y/n! You all are?" She asked with a cheery grin.

MK instantly got to work. "Oh, oh!" He chirped, pointing at each member as he listed them. "Y/n, this is Mei, Sandy, Pigsy, and Tang! Mei, Sandy, Pigsy, Tang, this is Y/n!" He smiled.

Y/n waved and they all waved back-- Mei was the most energetic. She looked up at the destructive Demon Bull King. "Alright. And How are we supposed to defeat that?" Asked Tang.

MK stepped forward, hands in fists. "We believe in ourselves." He stated with full confidence. Y/n stepped forward. "And I'll help." She reassured.

He turned to the others. "You clean the streets, Y/n and I'll defeat the Demon Bull King. Somehow." He sighed.

Pigsy raised a brow. "And how exactly is a teenager younger than you gonna help you?" He asked skeptically, not really wanting the kids to jump into danger face-first.

Y/n smiled at a few familiar words flowing out of her mouth. "I can jump." She hummed.

Before Pigsy could speak, a large wash of deja vû filled his and Tang's senses and Mei spoke.

"Man, this would've been really useful.." She sighed, kicking the wreck. Then, the speed bike appeared. MK gasped.

"That'll work!" He said happily. Y/n warmed up, stretching her furry legs. "Go get 'em, guys!!" Mei cheered.

....

MK drove off with Y/n racing beside him, leaving a trail of faint blueish purpleish colored behind her because of her ears and the mitten-like patterns on her legs.

And, of course, they left an awestruck Mei, Pigsy, Sandy, and Tang behind at how fast the young girl could sprint.

She leapt up, landing behind MK on the bike. "Alright, let's do this!" MK huffed. Y/n nodded. "Yeah!" She chirped back.

"The little thief returns with that rabbit." The Bull King growls. He attempts to blast them, but Y/n kicks off from the bike and causes it to change course-- this allows the both of them to dodge the blow.

Y/n this time decides to put her Star Steps to use instead of landing after leaping away from MK's bike, running around next to MK. The male of the two accidentally activates his Golden Eyes of Truth, yelping in surprise.

"Uh, what?? Why is everything gold again!?" He shouted. Y/n looks over, seeing his eyes glow a brilliant gold. She smiled, realizing he was beginning to inherit his abilities. "Look around, MK!" She advised.

Suddenly, he gasps. "The staff!" He realizes, seeing it in a cavity at the chest section of the armor.

MK makes a brash decision, driving himself straight into the cannon. Y/n gasps and narrows her eyes, the e/c now completely gone and replaced with what looks like a constellation of a rabbit. Her ears were pinned back with determination and focus as she flew closer.

She hugged MK's middle as they flew straight into the hole of the armor, the stars in her fur glowing brighter.

....

Demon Bull King laughs. "Now this world is truly mine!" He announced in his rough voice.

Suddenly, he stumbles back as the armor drains of power at an immense speed. "What is this?" He gasped, ears back in confusion. A stone surrounded in a golden and galaxy-like glow pops out of the armor, and it begins to crack.

Again. Again. Then, it shatters, revealing MK and Y/n within a protective orb of the female's power. She growled, lips pulled back into a sneer.

New Ability Unlocked: Star Shields!

"Monkey King and Rabbit?" He whispered in shock before snarling. The shield vanishes into some sort of whispered smoke as MK and Y/n fly forward, the bandana boy punching Demon Bull King while the rabbit girl kicks him.

The Bull King attempts to blast the both of them, and Y/n remains silent while MK speaks and taunts.

"Missed me!" He dodges, "Nope!" Bull King misses, "Over here!"

Y/n laughs. "Right behind ya!" She taunts before kicking him harshly in the square of his back. Bull King coughs, being knocked to the ground.

MK grabs a top half of a building with his staff. "Okay, here. We. Go!" MK strains with the new weight. Y/n races over to help him, using her shield to prevent the building from collapsing. She smiled.

This feels awfully familiar.

The Bull King retaliates in rage. "No!" He roars as the two attempt to bury him again.

"Not again! Enough!" Bull King shouts before slamming MK and Y/n into a nearby building.

"You thought you could stand against me.. I am the Demon Bull King, I will not let a little thief and his pest take victory from my grasp!" He snarled.

Y/n coughed, her ears ringing and vision blurring.  MK exhaled sharply in pain, looking up to see a Monkey Mech arcade machine.

Just believe in yourself. Even a smidge makes all the difference.

MK looks to the mentioned girl, the female still struggling to stand from such a hard blow. Unfortunately for her, she did not have any Monkey King powers.

Demon Bull King laughs. "You might have that old fool's staff and friend, but you are not the Monkey King!" He scoffs.

MK stands slowly, carrying the staff in one hand. Sandy lifts Y/n's small and weak figure, she winces at the sudden movement and contact.

"You're right..." Panted MK, planting his staff into the ground. "I'm the Monkie Kid!" He announced before gold swirled around him, the shape and form similar to Y/n's star magic.

Scraps and debris combined together and became recolor, forming the Monkey King Warrior Mech.

The Bull King watches with wide eyes. "Im... possible." He whispers. MK smiles at the familiar word.

"Nothing is impossible when you believe in yourself. Make no mistake, you just got MKO'd!" He said, confidence flowing through his veins.

....

Y/n began to stir on Sandy's back, eyes now mostly her original e/c color with only a tad of the stars and galaxy-like colors swirling around her pupils.

She smiled. "Go, you stupid monkey." She mumbled as Sandy saved another family stuck under the wreckage.

....

Red Son began to thrash around. "You think this is over!?" He shouted. "It isn't over, bozo! Why don't you just get out of that dorky Mech and fight me, you coward!?" The fire demon demanded.

MK moves his hand and tries to lift Red Son, only to be stopped by a large wind tornado. Y/n smiled at the familiar woman, recalling.. fond memories. Most of which involved Y/n running away because of some dumb trick Monkey King committed and decided to drag her into it. (Most of which were also pranks with the princess being the victim).

"We know when we've been bested. But this won't be the last time you see of us, Noodle Boy and Rabbit Girl." Princess Iron Fan laughs evilly before dissapearing with the Bull King family.

"What!? No! No fair!" Pouted MK with frustration, "Come on, you can't leave when I'm right about to win!" He huffed, crossing his arms. Y/n giggled at the scene.

"MK!!" Mei cheered as she ran over, "You guys totally kicked DBK's butt! Without you, the city'd be toast!" She exclaimed happily. Y/n smiled, climbing down from Sandy's back. She hopped over, shaking off the pain from her bruises.

MK laughs awkwardly as he climbs out of the Mech, Y/n and Mei standing side by side. "Yeah, but, yknow, I had some help." He smiled at Y/n, who nodded back. Sandy hugs the three close, smiling.

"You did, little man." Hummed the blue water spirit. Y/n smiled at his familiar appearance.

Sha Wujing.

"You're basically the new Monkey King now!" Cheered Mei, catching her attention. "Ha! Monkey Kid, didn't you say?" Asked Tang with a cheeky grin. 

Y/n smiled at the reincarnation of Tripitaka. "Yeah." She hummed happily, galactic bunny tail wagging.

"You did good, kids. Real good." Pigsy praised, patting MK's and Y/n's head. "Thanks, Piggy." Y/n giggled. Pigsy sighed. "It's another Mei all over again." He grumbled.

"But, er... what now?" Asked Sandy. "Isn't it obvious?" Replied Mei, ready to beat some villan butt.

"Yeah! Beat up more bad guys!" MK agreed. Y/n sweatdropped.

"Or.. maybe I talk with you guys and get to know you." She laughed. "Over some noodles!" Tang added, taking advantage of the moment for free food.

Y/n chuckled, ears up happily. "Yeaaah!" The Dragon and Monkey cheered. "Noodles! Noodles! Noodles!" They chanted before Y/n joined in and was hoisted onto Mei's shoulders in the form of a piggyback.

....

Meanwhile, Monkey King watches from above the Mech with a smile. He nods. "Good for you, carrots." He hummed, obviously knowing what Y/n saw in them. Then, there was a quick 'poof!' as Monkey King transforms into a bird and flies away.

But not before Y/n's ear twitches and she looks where Monkey King once perched. She smiled. "Thanks." She whispered before going off to help the innocent, make friends, and eat noodles.
