Hermiones pov

It was two weeks later and Draco was finally back on his feet, they couldn't tell what was put through his system so it's now a ministry situation. We were told to just live life like normal which we did, it was lunch time on a Saturday and I was going over the final plans for pansys party for tonight. It was her birthday tomorrow so we wanted to do something, with permission from a teacher to use the now rebuilt room of requirements we got it all made up for her. We invited most of the year, the ones that I knew she liked.

I had a massive cake being delivered from the bakery in hogsmede and was just finishing up finalising the guests "Blaise, did you ever hear if Seamus was coming to the party?" I asked "He was going too, he had a gift bought and all but said he felt bad about not being able to bring Ron and dean. He left me the gift and I have it sitting with the ones from me and Ginny" he said "shame....they actually are good friends. Ronald just can't bare being left out" I said. "Well, hows my party coming along?" Pansy asked. It was impossible to keep secrets from her.

Especially since one of our best friends is Theo and he just can't keep his mouth shut, "it's going well, you can have a look over the guest list if you want?" I said "yes!" She said grabbing the list, I laughed as she ran her finger down the piece of paper "no seamus? Or Hannah?" She asked "Seamus couldn't come...Ron and dean stuff and Hannah's got a bad cold and didn't want to get you sick on your birthday" I said "oh, well no matter. Guest list looks great, although I would have been fine with just the 7 of us" she said

"I know but this is your 18th! Your gonna be a big girl now, all independent and stuff. You deserve a big party" I said "you're the best!" She said, hugging me before walking away "I'm gonna make sure the rooms ready" I said to Blaise "I gotta go find Ginny anyway" he said as we walked the opposite ways.

The room was amazing, it had green and silver decorations with a hint of black around the room. The food table was laid out with snacks and there were plenty of bottles of firewhisky "hey love" Draco said, putting up decorations. I walked over with my clipboard and checked the image I had drawn up "no need to check, I've measured there length so they aren't too long or short and I've made sure they sit perfectly so you wouldn't have too" He said with a laugh

"awww, you know me so well" I said with a laugh as he climbed off the ladder "I wish you would let us use magic for this" he said, draping his arm over my shoulder "no, it has to be done to perfection. This is for Pansy, she gets the best" I said with a smile "you sound like her mother, or are you cheating on me with her?" He said with a serious tone at the end "nooo! How did you find out!" I said sarcastically, we just laughed "nah you'd never leave me, you love me too much" he said, wrapping his arms round my waist

"do I now?" I said, my arms reaching the back of his neck "indeed" he whispered, I let out a small giggle before placing my lips on his. Every time we kissed I got the same fireworks I did as if it were the first time again, "you are far too distracting, pulling me away from my work" he said sarcastically "awk I'm sorry I've been such a bother, I've to leave now anyway dear. Party to organise, people to see" I said, walking away slowly, he grabbed my arm and spinned me round

"hope that doesn't mean you leave without saying goodbye" he said, I gave him a quick kiss "actually in a rush love, I really need to go I'm behind schedule. I love you bye!" I said running out the door before he could respond. After some last minute party details it's was 5pm and her party started at 7pm.

"Pansy get out of the shower I need to get one!" I said, she was using the head dorm to get ready "I'm out I'm out" she said, I quickly jumped in and got washed and then jumped out. I dried my hair and walked back into my bedroom to see Pansy curling hers. I done my makeup, finishing it with some eyelashes and a crimson lipstick. Next was hair, I placed it in a braided crown, curling the bottom half of my hair before getting in my outfit. Pansy wore a black bra-let body suit with a green denim skirt while I wore a red bra-let jumpsuit with a black denim skirt, we honestly could have passed as sisters.

I grabbed my clutch and put my wand and some extra bottles of muggle drink in it, I grabbed some potions as well. Things are always crazy with us so it's always good to be prepared. We ran down the stairs making sure not to trip and grabbed Draco's and Harry's hands. "You look stunning" Draco said "thank you" I said, blush spreading across my cheeks. We walked down to the room if requirements and knocked the door. It opened with magic and when we walked in everyone in shouted happy birthday.

Pansys face lit up as she thanked everyone and before we knew it the party had started. I had a dj brought in so the music was amazing, I had walked over to get a drink when I felt something was wrong "Draco, love. These drinks look a different colour from the others" I said "they are all the same drink love, maybe it's just the lights" he replied, pouring a drink from one of the tinted bottles. Seconds later the glass melted "what the fuck" I said, I grabbed all the bottles of drink and binned then, grabbing extras I had stashed away "they were un-opened bottles right? No one had drunk from them?" I questioned

"no one had drunk from them" he said "good, maybe there was a mistake in shipping or something" I said, ignoring the fact a glass had just melted. I got back to dancing and enjoying myself but before I knew it something else went wrong. "What's going on with the lights?" Pansy said, Ginny, Blaise, Harry and Theo had also come over "I'm not sure, they shouldn't be going like that" the lights were going on and off and then with a loud bang they were off and we stood in darkness, the faint light of some glow sticks round us

"what the fuck?" I said, "lumos maxima" I said, pointing my wand around the room. Everyone was gone "what the fuck is going on" Pansy said "where is everyone" Blaise said "they probably left when the lights cut off" Theo said "yea but we would have heard them" I replied, we huddled up, backs against each other's. Wands pointed round the room. Seconds later another bang "who's there!" I shouted "didn't I tell you to pick your friends wisely" a mysterious voice said

"who's there!" I shouted again, another bang. The others looked round the room, Blaise and harry had grabbed Ginny and Pansy, putting them behind them. Theo had his back against mine as Draco walked around the room "hello?" Draco said, walking round the room "let's get out of here" Theo said heading for the door. He pulled on the handle but there was no movement "it's locked" Theo said "locked? What the fuck is going on here" Blaise said. Theo tried some charms on the door but nothing

"Theo move" I said pushing him out of the way "STUPEFY" I shouted at the door, nothing "stupefy!" Pansy said, once again nothing "Right all together, three, two, one STUPEFY!" We shouted, nothing "you've got to be taking the piss" I shouted "you'll not get through that door unless I let you" the voice in the shadows said. "Wait a minute..." I said looking at Harry "Doesn't that sound familiar...the voice" I said to him. "Lumos maxima" I said, pointing my wand at the wall to see Ron and dean in the corner. Everyone looked shocked, I felt the anger building up inside of me

"you fucking dickheads" I shouted charging at them, it took all four boys to hold me back as I pointed my wand at the two "Fucking let go of me, I swear I'll kill you two dickheads!" I screamed. Ron and dean ran out of the room and I forced myself out of the boys grip, grabbing Pansys hand and chasing after them. They stopped at a dead end and looked at us "who the fuck do you two pricks think you are?" I said, my wand pointed at Ron. Pansy had hers out and pointed at dean

"I swear to god if we let you go, if you put one more foot out of line Weasley and I'll murder you, I'll kill you. I promise I will" I said, my wand against his throat "get lost you fucking prats" Pansy said, they ran off. I looked at Pansy "that was some birthday...I'm sorry it got ruined" I said "it didn't get ruined, up until the last half hour it was amazing. You took so much time to make it a special day for me and I'm so thankful for that" she said

"you're my best friend, I wanted you to have a special day" I said "I know and I did, I love you" She said hugging me "I love you too" I said, hugging her back. We heard the footsteps of the others and before I knew it we were in a massive group hug "thank you all for an amazing birthday. I love you all" Pansy said.

I knew Ron wasn't finished, he's obviously playing some game. But for now, I let it slip my mind. I'll deal with whatever he has coming when it comes.
