Little Pup (part 2)

The wolf within Jade stirred, taking the form of a young wolf pup, too young to be without its mother and pack. Katie placed a hand on Jade's shoulder. She felt the torture Jade was putting herself through. As the thoughts of her old life flooded her senses, the growl slipped from her lips, harsh and cold.

Katie trained Jade on how to shift. "The wolf is nature through and through. It needs its connection to the earth. That is why most werewolves live out here in the woods." Katie said as she and Jade walked into the woods. Katie then let out a loud, sharp whistle which summoned a small group of wolves who looked like spirits that were all black except the eyes, which were a royal blue, with wisps of their black coats being taken by the breeze. "The wolf inside must be able to run wild and free. But." Katie waved a hand as the wolves started to become wild like dogs, but then Katie made another gesture, like pulling a leash. The wolves stopped what they did at sat like normal house pets. "It must also be disciplined and sharp-witted. My training will help you if you need to find a pack, for I am one of the last Wolf Keepers. My father was one before he passed away. But the skills he and the other Wolf Keepers in my family taught me will help you." Katie continued. Jade sat on the grass, listening to Katie's words on how to shift into a wolf form.
