Yu Ishigami (5) - Angel *

WARNING: THE * MEANS THE STORY HAS GORE, CURSING, OR VERY SENSITIVE SUBJECTS SUCH AS SELF HARM. SINCE THIS IS THE FIRST CHAPTER WITH A * I'M PUTTING A WARNING. I'll add the notice in my first page, the Request Page.

You sigh, your job as an Event Planner really stressed you out, so many clubs and students harassed you for special events, competitions, or special parties so they didn't do any school work, which alone is awful. If you decline you get pushed around and harassed even more. It also didn't help that Kaguya thought you liked Shirogane which made no sense what-so-ever.

"(Y/n)!" Someone snaps. It was a common student who asked for events, a lot. "You planning a party yet or what? I'm getting tired of waiting!" He growls, grabbing you by the collar of your shirt. "NO! I'm not planning any parties we just had the Spring Festival!" You exclaim, grabbing his wrist and pulling it off your collar. "Oh yeah? Well if you don't..." He began to threaten. "Oh please! Spare me from your empty threats I'm so tired of it!" You shout, glaring at him. He sneers at you, clenching his fists. "Tch, you think you're so cool threatening me." You grumbles, turning around.

"You know no one here even likes you." He starts. "And everyone would be so much better off without you. If you disappeared, no one would miss you. You're so worthless, you're better off in hell." He insults with a smug smirk. "You don't know that." You reply, gripping your bag tightly. "It's so easy to tell, you're good for nothing here! You don't do anything, you're just a lazy sloth. It's hard to believe anyone likes you." He continues, dealing as much damage as he could. You disregard his comments, walking into the council room, looking at the ground.

"(Y/n)?" Ishigami asks. "What was that?" Fujiwara asks. They heard yet had no intention of helping you, of course things can get worse. "Oh nothing, just one of the daily approaches I get!" You hiss, eyes glossed over. "I don't even know why I'm here! I get bullshit all year about parties and events that don't matter and I'M the bad guy! I sure as hell never even asked to be part of this council but somehow I got dragged into it! I can't take this anymore!" You shout, tearing up, throwing your bag against the wall, turning around and leaving.

"That was quite the tantrum." Kaguya deadpans. "I'll go see if she needs any help." Ishigami volunteers, leaving as well. You ran home, who the hell cares if you felt pain? So what if everything hurt? No one cared, you were alone. Not a single soul worried about you, or so you thought. You throw open your front door, slamming it closed. You turn off all the lights, shut the curtains, close the blinds, and just drop into your bed, feeling your life drain from your body.

Ishigami knocks on your door, there wasn't an answer. He tried for about 10 minutes, then called your cell. He was surprised the call was accepted, but his hopes died down when it was Fujiwara. "She left her phone in her bag." She states and Ishigami sighs, hanging up. There was nothing he could do, besides try to communicate through a game if you ever decided to go online.

It's been 3 days since you had a breakdown, only Shirogane, Fujiwara, and Ishigami worried for you. "Just because she's sad doesn't give her an excuse to skip school." Iino states, crossing her arms. "Agreed, it's quite pathetic." Kaguya agrees, nodding. Ishigami got a notification you went online, making his eyes widen. He went to the online game without even hesitating, typing in your private chat.

"(Y/n) where have you been?"
"Home, Yu."
"Shiro, Fuji, and I are really worried."
"No, no you're not."
"Yes, we are."
"Well you're real shit at proving it."
"Then let me talk to you, I can come over and we can talk."
"No."

Ishigami sighs in frustration, scratching the back of his head.

"(Y/n) please, don't push me away because of a few petty students!"
"A few petty students?"
"..."
"You have no idea, Yu. Everyday some club member, a group of students and that same prick harasses me, DAILY. I always have people telling me I have no worth."
"That's not true (Y/n)."
"I don't care, I can't afford to care anymore. I'm coming to pick up my stuff, then I'm going back home."

After that message you went back offline. Ishigami, sighs again, closing the game. "Was that them?" Fujiwara asks softly. "Yeah, from the looks of it they don't want to talk." Ishigami sighs, staring at his screen worriedly. "That's pathetic, she doesn't need to be so shameful. She's a dull mark on this school's reputation." Kaguya continues to insult. "Not to mention this is all because of one student." Iino sighs, shaking her head.

You push open the door, wearing a(n) (f/c) oversized hoodie and shorts, as well as (f/c), scuffed up shoes. "Where's my bag?" You ask. You had bags under your eyes, your skin was pale and your voice was groggy. "Near the wall where you left it." Fujiwara replies quietly. You grab your bag and Iino stomps over, about to grab your shoulder. "I don't know who you think you are, but if you think your stupid sadness is so problematic that you can't get over it–".  She begins to rant. You turn swiftly before she touched you, grabbing her wrist way too tightly for her to stand. "Hey, shut the hell up before I beat your pathetic face in." You hiss, glaring into her soul.

She squeaks struggling against her grip. "What's wrong Miko? Stop being so weak and just get out of my grasp. It's not that hard idiot. What are you waiting for?" You sneer as she falls back. You let her go as everyone stares at you in shock. "(Y/n)! That's such a baseless behavior!" Kaguya scolds and you laugh coldly. "Aren't you the girl who claimed you'd be superior at the beginning of the year and yet no matter how hard you try you always lose to the president? You try to hard. Too stuck up." You grunt, turning away. "This is why no one likes you (Y/n)!" Iino exclaims in tears.

You look back at her with a dead look in your eye. "I know that more than anyone, but one thing no one can surpass is the sheer amount of hatred I hold for myself. Oh, and since you're so strict, no one likes you either." You respond, slugging your bag over your shoulder. "Also, you wouldn't believe how many people talk behind your back in these halls. Funny, really." You add and Ishigami stands up, tucking his laptop under his arm and following you.

"(Y/n) please just talk to me." Ishigami pleads, following close behind you. "Okay, about what. We have an entire walk to my house so I guess I'll humor you until then." You shrug tiredly. "This isn't a joke, what's wrong? I really do want to help." Ishigami states worriedly. "Ah, wanna see something cool?" You ask as a group of students notice you. "It's (Y/n)." "Wow they're looking rough." "Well, they were gone for so long. They probably started skipping." "Hey, (Y/n)!" That boy shouts, approaching you again.

He glares down at you, about to grab your collar, but Ishigami steps in. "Leave them alone." He sighs, and the students glare at you before leaving. You start walking again and chuckle coldly. "They would've done much worse if you weren't there." You state as he catches up again. "What...so they do?" He asks. "Push me, shove me, trip me. Those students are brutal. The one boy would always grab me by the collar and threaten me if I didn't promise a party. The first time I lied and he punched me in the stomach." You recall, shaking your head.

"Why do you never tell us?" Ishigami asks, clenching his fists. "At first, I really wanted to, but that means you'd have to waste your time helping me. I didn't want to burden you with my problems if you already have your own. So I jus couldn't bother, I didn't think it'd last the entire year." You respond, and Ishigami sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I certainly wouldn't have minded helping you." Ishigami corrects, and you glance at him. "I couldn't do that to you, Yu. You're the only person who had more than a little meaning to me, but I can't trust anyone anymore. I just want to isolate myself, to be alone." You reply, looking down at the sidewalk.

"I'm really trying to help you, (Y/n). Can't you see that? I genuinely care about you!" Ishigami exclaims as you stop in front of your door. "You didn't show it when you had the chance, in fact, you always treated me like a stranger or a mere acquaintance." You respond, opening the door. "But I have a reason, (Y/n)!" Ishigami exclaims, before you shut the door and disappear forever. "What reason do you have?" You ask, narrowing your eyes at him.

Ishigami sighs, hugging his arms. "Can we at least talk about it inside?" He asks. "Fine, I'll at least hang out with you one more time." You give in, reopening your door. Ishigami was both relived and terrified, he didn't want this to be the last time, not now, not ever. He walks into your home, it was dark, gloomy, almost grey. He missed when you'd open the door, give him a smile and sometimes a hug. He peered into the kitchen, it looked untouched, no dishes were in the sink. "Have you been eating?" He asks, looking back at you as you hung up your bag.

"Why?" You ask, shoving your hands in you pockets, about to go upstairs. "If you haven't then that's really unhealthy." He replies, looking up at you from the bottom of the stairs. "No shit Sherlock." You grumble, continuing up the stairs. "That doesn't answer my question." He pushes, following you into your room. "Not often, I'll eat ramen if I feel like moving from my bed." You state, sitting on your bed. "(Y/n), I cannot stress enough–" Ishigami starts, and you give him a plain, dead look.

"Yu, I don't care. I stopped caring about myself, because I'm a waste of space." You interrupt, leaning back onto your arms. "I care about you!" Ishigami shouts, staring into what was left of your soul. "Why?!' You shout back, glaring at him. "I'm a complete waste of space, I do nothing right!" You start, tearing up. "Everyone hates me for no valid reason, I can't go to school without being harassed!" You continue, balling your fists up tightly, curling the sheets between your fingers.

"Everyday I come home and I feel like screaming! It's so painfully overbearing with students nagging him, not to mention Kaguya and Iino are part of it! I'm so tired, Yu. I just want to go to sleep and never wake up. I just want to finally feel peace, even if it means I'm deceased!" You sob, making his eyes soften almost instantly. He sits down and wraps his arms around you, resting his head on top of yours.

"I don't want to feel pain anymore, Yu. I want it to go away..." You whisper weakly. He stares at the open pocket knife on your bed stand sadly. "Did you cut?" He asks, pulling away, yet not fully releasing you from the hug. "I-I..." You stammer, gripping his sleeves tightly. "Can...I see?" He asks softly, and you allow him to pull up your sleeves. There were tons upon tons of slashes up and down your arms making his eyes gloss over. "How long have you been doing this?" He asks, looking into your eyes. Your throat felt like it was sealed, you could barely breathe. "When I s-started believing I d-deserved it." You reply quietly, more tears coursing down your face.

"Will you please let me disinfect and wrap these?" He requests, looking at you torn arms. "I guess." You sigh, allowing him to carefully help you up. He puts disinfectant on your arms, wrapping them up, not too tightly, but they won't come loose anytime soon. "I'm so sorry if you felt like I didn't care, (Y/n). I really did care about you when you joined us." Ishigami apologizes, putting everything back. "No, please don't apologize, it was never your fault." You reply looking up at him sadly.

"I can't help but feel like I'm a part of it though, I could never make this up to you." He protests, shaking his head. You both leave the main bathroom, heading back to your room. "Why...Why did you treat me like a stranger?" You ask, sitting back down and Ishigami sits next to you. "I...didn't know how to act, I was so afraid of saying something to make you hate me. I was so scared I'd just appal you away from me." He replies, staring at the ceiling.

"But why was I so different then?" You ask tiredly. "Because..." he started, falling back into silence. "Because I fell in love with you, and I didn't want anything between us to change because I was so sure you didn't feel anywhere close to how I felt." He confesses, covering his mouth. "Maybe not when we first met." You start, wrapping both of your arms around his left arm. "But...when you played online with me, you treated me like your best friend. When you agreed to play online with me I was so surprised, and thought you'd just be embarrassed, but you'd always help me when I fell down or lagged behind." You smile weakly, pushing your face against his arm.

"I started feeling for you, when you showed you cared, you'd be one of the only." You finish, feeling his eyes stare at the top of your head. He removes his arm from your grasp, wrapping both of his arms around you carefully. "Then...the feelings mutual?" He asks softly. "Yes, Yu." You reply, just as softly, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Then, will you let me come over more often? I want to help take care of you." He requests, keeping you close to him. "If you promise, life won't hurt as much as it does now." You reply, listening to his heartbeat.

"I'll do what I can, I'll never leave your side." He states, pulling away to smile for you. You give back a weaker smile, but it was an effort. "I know school is awful right now, but we'll get through it together, you'll never have to be alone, I promise." Ishigami states in determination. "Thank you, for everything." You thank, and he leans forward, kissing the bridge of your nose. "Anything for my precious Angel, (Y/n)."
