One Messy Couple ❤

Ethan's PoV

Lizzie finished her last day of filming on set for the Age of Ultron movie. It's also our last day living together since we'll be moving back to L.A. tomorrow, so we'll be back to normal. So I though of something to do to commemorate our last day in Atlanta.

Before I pick her up from set, I did a quick stop by the baking shop. I've seen lots of sweet scenarios happening in movies when it comes to baking, and I'd do anything to experience that with Lizzie. So to hell with it, why not try it?

Flour, Cocoa Powder, butter, bowls, mixer, Chocolate Chips, you name it. I got everything set. I placed the bags at the back trunk so that Lizzie won't find out.

I drove to the set as quickly as I can and there I see Lizzie, talking to her co-stars just outside the studio. I got out and approached her. "Hey, babe." She looks up at me and leaned in. "Oh hey babe, I waas waiting for you."

"Yeah? Well, I'm here now." I said tucking my hands in my pockets. "Let's go?" I offered my hand nd she accepted it. "Let's."

I escorted her back to my car as we both start to hit the road. An emotional song plays in my music player, so I had butterflies in my stomach. Damn every time. I had mixed feelings and emotions that I felt from the song. Then a question popped in my head.

"Hey, baby?" I called. "Hm?" she acknowledges. "Don't think of me as cheeky right now but, do you um, see me in your, you know, future?" I asked between uncertainties. I wouldn't know how she would react and answer to my question.

"Oh," she said, still staring at the window. "Well to be honest, I'm enjoying my every day with you. I love it. I wanna see where it goes. For me, time will always tell. There's no certainty in what tomorrow is, but..."

My whole body starts sweating as I wait for her next words.

"I'm hoping you're in mine." She finally looks at me and I did too. I can't believe it. She wants me to be a part of her life. "I want someone I love and treasure to stay. They're hard finds so, I'm hoping they'll be with me until my end." she added.

"It's a relief to hear you say that, sweetheart." I reach for her hand and she eagerly holds on to it as we both smile to each other and continue looking at the road.

We arrived home at our apartment. I let her in first before gathering the stuff I bought to sneak behind the kitchen cupboards.

I cleaned the kitchen, knowing that Lizzie is still in our room, resting.

I entered our room to see Lizzie slouching at our bed. "Hey, are you tired, babe?" I ask.

She looks up from her phone. "Oh, just a bit. I rested my body off for a bit already. Why?" I sat down beside her and held her hand.

"It's our last day here at Atlanta. Do you not wanna do anything else before leaving?"

"Oh shoot, I forgot about that. Sorry baby. Well I'm too tired to go anywhere else." She said disappointed.

"Oh yeah I know that, it's fine. But maybe could do something fun here at home." I smiled.

"Oh? What do you propose?" she said placing her full attention on me. "Want to bake with me?" Her face lightened up after hearing the word 'bake'.

"Absolutely, YES! Now come on!" she dragged me out the room and to the kitchen.

She stops dragging me as she remembered something. "Wait, we don't have the things we need! My baking equipment are back at home..." her excitement slowly faded.

"I got that under cover, baby." I smirked and open the cupboards, revealing her the stuff I bought. She gasped. "You sneaky bastard! She jumped on me and almost dropped her. "Whoa!"

She pampered me with her sweet kisses. "I'm so lucky to have you." she whispered through my ears. "Nah, I'm the one who's lucky." I whispered back. "Looks like we're a perfect match." she said back. "I can't argue with that."

I started to wipe to containers with oil to prevent the ingredients from sticking while she rummages through the ingredients, already taking a taste test. "Hey! We haven't even started yet!" I laughed. "Sorry not sorry!" she said licking her fingers from the chocolate.

"Stop that!" I hurried over and carried her bridal style. "Ah!" she was surprised. "Put me doooown!" she whined like a small girl. "Hm, how about...no." I said. Then she 'accidentally' put a smudge of chocolate on my nose. "Hey!"

"You have a little something riiiiight here." She pointed at my nose and kissed it. "Oh what a brilliant plan. You did that on purpose." I smiled. "So what if I did?"

"We haven't even started and we're already messy." I commented. "Stop being too responsible and have fun with me." We looked at each other for some time before she pulled me in for a kiss. Moments later we struggled breathing for air.

"Okay okay, let's start baking." I sliced some bananas to include the mix while she puts in the dry and wet ingredients to the bowl.

"Wait, what are we even making?" She laughed. "I have no idea." We put our ingredients altogether and she started to mix it up. "Oh wait! The flour!" she exclaimed.

"I got it!" I ran down the cupboard and started to lift it. "Wait no, the other way arou-"

Before I knew it the flour was all over me. I couldn't see anything so I dusted off the flour on my eyes and when I saw her, she was pissed. She was also covered in flour. I forgot the fact that the fan was open so It blew the flour around the kitchen.

"Oops." I said. "If you just listened to me first, this would've never happened." She glared at me and huffed at the flour around her. We both burst out laughing. "Tell me the truth, you knew this would happen." she said while clinging onto my neck. "From the movies? Yeah I did." I said while slowly leaning in. "I knew it." she leaned in as well.

"You know me so well."

"You bet I do. Now come on, help me pop these in the oven."

I opened the oven's door as she slides the baking tray in. "And now we wait." she crossed her arms, leaning on the counter.

"Stop looking at me." she glared. "My girlfriend is just so beautifuuuul. Why can't anyone see that?"

"Shut up." she rolled her eyes, ignoring the fact that she is blushing.

She was about to go to the sink but I stopped her, hugging her from the back. "Stay." I said. "What? I'll just wash off this flour you put on me." she explained. "No, stay messy with me." I felt her body shake as she laughed. "Okay fiiiine."

Soon enough we heard a ding from the oven so I slipped the baking gloves on and got the cupcakes out. "Hey, it's not so bad! It's smells deliecious already." I smell the aroma of the cupcakes, already inviting me to eat them. "Of course they are, I baked them." she said lifting her chin up.

"I'll let you have it this time. Fine, your bake. It's amazing baby. Now it's time for a taste test." I said and before she eats hers, I fed her a piece of mine. "Mmh!" she mumbled while trying to eat it. "You're a hopeless romantic alright."

"So, how is it?"

"Amazing. Just how I expected it to be."

"You got something on you lip."

"Where? I can't see, could you get it for me?"

"Right here." I kissed her tender lips. It's so glossy and sweet. "You tricked me, didn't you?" she scoffed.

"Sweetest payback yet."
