Burning with Kisses πŸ’›

Ethan's PoV

Lizzie was currently cooking a delicious meal for our lunch. This time, she made a special course from her native province from her dad's side.

"Poultry, huh?" I asked suddenly stuck my head at her beside the kitchen stove. "Gah!" she startled. "You idiot! My cooking would've slipped out of my hands!" she said with an angry serious tone. Oh no.

"I'm sorry babyyy," I whined at her as I hugged her from behind. "Okay okay, now shut up." That was good enough for me.

"Hold on a second, I'll get some paprika. DO NOT touch anything." she warned. Lizzie knows that I'm that type of 'always touching everything I'm not even supposed to touch' guy.

I looked behind for her as I kept her tracks in mind. Making sure she wouldn't come back too soon, I held the laddle and scooped for some soup. I tasted it and my eyes flew wide open. It was hot. REAL HOT.

"Ah! Too hot!" I shouted as I carefully returned the laddle and held my lips. "Owww," I cried. Lizzie heard it. Shoot.

"Babe? What happened? I swear if you-" she didn't continue her sentence as she ran towards me, holding my face in her delicate and soft arms. "Let me see." she looked at my lips, not caring how dangerously close our faces are. Once she noticed, she blushed. "U-uhm." I smirked. "You burned yourself, you prick. What an idiot." she snapped.

"I'll get you some ice." she starts to walk towards the fridge when I held her arm and stopped her. "No. You're all I need." I said. "What no, you need ice for the swelling." she explained.

(Insert All I Ever Need Song lmao)
You're all I ever need
Baby you're amazing
You're my angel come and save me
Aaaaah...

I didn't say anything else and started to lean onto her. I felt her smile as we kissed. "Oh. I get it now. You think you're so smart, huh?" she pulled back. "Your kisses are my medicine." She did her sweetest smile as we slowly closed the gap between us once again.

Our sweet kissed turned heated, then into something else. More passionate and filled with love and want from each other. "Baby," she gasped. "Shh, I want us to stay this way." Our lips touched again as our tongues danced together in complete harmony.

Then we smelled something burning. She gave me a puzzled look as she remembers what could be the smell's source.

"Oh shoot, my cooking!" she exclaimed and placed the pot on the other side of the stove. "This is all your fault." she laughed. "Guilty as charged. You loved it anyway."
