Y/N POV

As the cold winds blew on your skin, you stood by the entrance of the 1MillionDance studio, waiting for your precious girlfriend, Hanni, to finish up her practice. You guys had planned a cute little hangout after her practice, so you could spend time together before she had to return to her dorms before her curfew.

Due to the number of people under the HYBE label, trainees and groups preparing for comebacks often occupy the dance room. After the massive success of NewJean's latest album, the girls were able to have a short break. However, during their break, they would still have to practice, which was why you were waiting outside of one of the best studios in South Korea.

As time ticked, you stood there and looked at the night sky. With the moon visible, you stared at its vast beauty while thinking about Hanni.

You knew that when Hanni finished practice and saw you waiting her adorable face would light up with her pretty smile. You couldn't wait to see that smile and feel her small arms wrap around your waist as she pulled you into a deep hug.

As you waited for your smol bean to get out, you played on your phone, going through all the socials until you saw a group of people leaving the studio. As you scanned the group of people, you noticed it was members of NewJeans, and then you saw your sweet Hanni emerging from the building.

Your girlfriend's hair was tied up in a messy bun, and wore comfortable baggy clothes, but she still looked as cute as ever. As she walked closer, you watched as her eyes met yours, and as Hanni spotted you, her pretty face broke into a smile, and she began running towards you.

"You were right." you thought to yourself since you knew this was exactly how she would have acted. She ran over and hugged you. As she held you in her tiny arms, your heart swelled with love, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for this wonderful partner you had.

As you melted by her warm embrace, your heart skipped a beat as you felt Hanni's body close to you, her warmth enveloping you. You closed your eyes, savoring the feeling of being with her.

She holds on to your lovingly while looking deeply into your eyes. As you stared at her beautiful eyes, you couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked, even though she just finished a probably intense practice session.

After hugging for a bit, you two eventually pulled away. Hanni looked up at you with a soft smile, and you could feel your cheeks heat up as you looked into her eyes, knowing that you could get lost in them.

Hanni: "Thanks for waiting for me, Babe," she said as she looked at you with a big smile.

Minji: "Wow! Look at the happy couple!" she said, as she began to tease. "Don't get home too late," the leader warned. "TAKE CARE OF HANNI!" Minji said with stern eyes.

Hanni: "We won't," she said as she said her farewell to all her members.

You also said bye and headed over to a nearby plaza with many stores that the two of you wanted to explore.

With Hanni latched onto your arm, you two walked around the well-lit plaza and explored the area.

As you roamed around the plaza, you guys saw many things. A cute store that sold great clothes, a place with all the essentials for decorating your home, and a big toy shop, but you eventually were led to a cafe by the aroma alone, the place smelling great.

You guys walked into the cozy cafe, and it was filled with people.

Hanni: "Wow! It's pretty packed in here! It had to be popular!" she said, amazed by the number of people inside.

Y/N: "Want to eat here?" you asked your girlfriend. She nodded in response, and you guys went to order.

As you order, you then feel Hanni pulling excitedly on your sleeve, her mouth dropped. You looked back with Hanni pointing at a sign.

You glanced at what she was pointing at, and it was a sign that said an "open mic night." That means that there would be singing performances tonight, and anyone could sign up.

Hanni: "Do you want to try Babe?!?" she asked excitedly. "PLEASE!?!?" she said while jumping up and down with excitement.

Y/N: "Uh.... I think I'm good..." you replied back, feeling a bit shy.

You were not a bad singer but a little shy about singing to other people. You always sing with Hanni and have a karaoke night at your house. But you didn't feel too comfortable singing in front of other people.

Hanni: "Why?!?!?" she exclaimed. "'We literally sing all the time other! This would be no different," She said to you, trying to persuade you.

Y/N: "I'm good..." You rejected her once more. "You can sign up, though," you said to her, only receiving a pout. She then lets go of your arm in a jokingly mad manner.

Hanni: "You're lame.." she said as she walked over to the table and wrote her name down, entering herself into the performances.

As you guys waited for Hanni's turn to sing, you guys ate your food, and it was delicious. Hearing everyone sing was also a considerable boon, making the night 10x more enjoyable than usual. With all the performances passed by, you were impressed by all the talent. Everyone singing was delightful, and you had a lot of fun.

Hanni's turn was coming up next; you grabbed your phone and got ready to record her. You watched with excitement as the host announced which group was next.

Host: "Next up is a duo of love..." he said, instantly dropping your face into one of confusion.

"Duo? Hanni said she would be up next. Guess they messed up the order of performers," you thought to yourself as you continued to listen.

Host: "Please welcome to the stage, Hanni and Y/N!" he said with the crowd cheering.

"WHATTTTT!?!?!?!?"

After a couple of seconds of processing, you quickly turned your head and looked at Hanni with disbelief, with her having her cheeky smile.

Hanni: "Don't worry, I put our favorite song," she said with a wink, and she grabbed your hand and led you to the stage.

Y/N: "WAIT!!! I'M NOT READY!" you said as she dragged you on stage, but her grip was too tight, and you didn't want to be too forceful.

You got on stage, and you looked out into the audience. The room was filled with people chatting, drinking coffee, and ready to listen to you sing.

Host: "Are you guys ready?" they asked with you shaking your head violently no. But it was no use; he just ignored you. "Okay! Que the music!"

Hanni said that she picked our favorite song. You wonder what she chose...

You closed her eyes and took another deep breath. You hear the intro of the song, and you instantly recognize it. It really was your favorite song.

You guys then began to sing, with your voices blended together perfectly, and the room fell silent as your sweet voice filled the air.

Y/N & Hanni: "Now I believe

You look over to Hanni, singing beautifully with her honey-like vocals. She looked gorgeous...

As you look at the audience, you see smiles on people's faces; some even start swaying to the music. Although you were slightly embarrassed to be on stage, the crowd's reaction made it all worth it.

Finally, as you two reached the end of the song, your and Hanni's voices soared together in perfect harmony. The audience erupted into applause and cheers.

You and Hanni stepped down from the stage, feeling exhilarated and proud. You two held hands as they walked back to their table, grinning from ear to ear.

Hanni: "See, we did it!" she said while giving you a big hug.

Y/N: "We did..." you said, still perplexed you did that.

As they sat back down at their table, you two were instantly greeted by a bunch of people who loved our performance. You and Hanni knew that they had created a memory that would be cherished forever—a memory filled with love.

Another little fluff moment between the lovers. I want more fluff in the beginning, so sorry for the mess up. I will make the chapters a little shorter but still packed with fluff.
