As the bright sunshine hit your face, your eyes twitched as you slowly became awake. As you rose from the bed, you looked at the clock on the wall and noticed the time. It was 9:15, almost time for your date with Hanni, your girlfriend.

You and Hanni have been dating for quite some time, and she is the best smol bean you can ever ask for.

Hanni Pham was a beautiful person with a radiant smile that could melt anyone's heart. She was kind and had an excellent sense of humor. She could be a brat, but she was your brat and a person you trusted and could lean on for mental and physical support.

Hanni was a girl who has been by your side even through your worst times. If anything happened, she would always be there to lend her ear and be a reliable person to talk to. Even though we, as a couple, went through a lot of problems, she stuck by your side, and you were proud to be able to call her your girlfriend.

From what felt like an endless amount of time when you had a crush on her, you couldn't believe that you were dating that one person you had been going after. From the constant back and forth of the classic question "What are we?" y'all finally sealed the deal and became official.

You guys have been in a happy relationship for roughly a year now, and you guys were planning on having a long-awaited date at a mall.

You begin to get out of bed to freshen up, wanting to look at your at least decent before your date. You wore simple clothing, just a regular hoodie and some jeans.

You were actually planning on wearing a specific white hoodie, but you couldn't find it. You looked around your house, but you couldn't find it.

*Ring Ring*

As you get ready, you hear your phone ring. You looked at who was calling you, and it was Hanni wanting to facetime. You answer her call, and as soon you press accept, you hear a cute voice.

Hanni: "Hello!!!" she said with an excited voice. You looked at her cute face just inches from the screen; Hanni being thrilled to see you.

Y/N: "Hi, Honey," you replied.

Hanni: "What are you doing right now? Getting ready?" she asked you.

You nodded your head in response, and then you showed off your fit.

Hanni: "Wow, look at my boyfriend, cute as ever," she said with a smile on her face.

Her smile was a tender one. A smile filled with soft and gentle love and affection. With her pearly white teeth and her beautiful eyes, her smile could melt anyone's heart.

Hanni: "What about me? Do I look cute?" she asked, showing off her outfit. She was wearing her usual baggy clothes.

Y/N: "Yeah, you always do, you replied casually; however, as you looked at her fit, you noticed something. She was wearing a hoodie that looked similar to yours. You should have figured that she took it, as it is a common occurrence.

Y/N: "Hanni? Is that my hoodie?" you asked.

Hanni: "Hm?" she said, looking at her hoodie. "Uh... no... Y/N you trippin'," she lied, not looking at the camera, making it obvious. You watched as she put on a clueless face, acting like she didn't know what you were talking about. She was such a silly girlfriend, but you loved her for it.

Y/N: "Stop lying, Silly," you said, breaking her facade and putting a small smile on her face.

Hanni: "You caught me," she said, sticking her tongue out. "You know I love wearing your hoodies," she said as she hugged herself. "Anyway, I got to go, don't wanna be late," she said, trying to change the topic fast. "Bye baby, see you at the fountain," she said as she waved to the camera before hanging up.

You chuckled at her action, Hanni still being as cute as you first met her. As you leave the house, you get a snap notification from Hanni. You opened the message up, and you couldn't help but smile.

We planned on meeting at the park, by the water fountain in the center of the plaza. It has been quite a while since you could see her in person due to her hectic idol schedule, so you were excited to see her.

You got there first and waited a bit. You looked around, and this place always stayed the same. This park was yours and Hanni's usual meet-up spot since it was secluded and close to our homes. You guys have many memories here, from our casual dates to you asking her out. You looked at the time and noticed that she was a little late.

You wait a few minutes and then see your smol girlfriend in the distance. A happy feeling fills your body as you are excited to see her, but then you notice that she is with some people. It looks like her group mates.

Hanni: "Sorry I'm late!" she said, with a slight pout. "They wanted to tag along," she said while pointing at them.

Minji: "Sorry, Y/N, but we wanted to go to the mall too," the leader said with a cheeky grin.

Hyein: "I can't wait to go shopping," you watched as the maknae jumped up and down.

Hanni: "Sorry about that, Y/N. I hope it's okay if they come too," she said with a disappointed face, while giving them a side eye.

Y/N: "It's fine. The more, the merrier," you replied while giving Hanni a small head pat. You watched as her frown soon became a smile—the smile you love to see and the thing that made you fall in love.

As you walked around the park, walking on the path that leads to the nearby mall. As you walked, the four other girls were in the front leading the charge while the two of you were in the back, walking side by side.

It was a peaceful walk with barely anyone around, the dark green grass filling your vision and a gentle breeze hitting your skin. With the birds chirping and the squirrels roaming around, it felt like a perfect day.

Eventually, you entered the mall and walked into one of their favorite clothes shops. As you look around the store, you eventually hear one of NewJeans songs playing on the speaker.

After their Debut, NewJeans, having been winning award after award, was already famed as one of the best groups of their generation. They were massively popular now, making it somewhat hard to keep a healthy relationship. But throughout the bad, you and Hanni stayed together, us still loving each other very much.

"Stay In the Middle..." you hear Hanni's opening line. It sounds smooth, like butter. Her voice was like honey, and her singing was something you could listen to all day.

Y/N: "Wow, you sound great," you said to Hanni. You watched as a big grin appeared on her face.

Hanni: "Hehehe... That's why I'm the group's main vocalist," she said with a proud smile.

Y/N: "Oh?" you said, seeing a chance to tease her. "I thought you were just the shortest of the group?" you teased, watching her smile instantly drop.

Hanni: "Hmph!" she said, folding her arms and looking away from you.

Y/N: "You know I love you, Honey," you said, even calling her favorite nickname. You gave her a back hug, but she broke free. With her chest held up high.

Hanni: "I know you love me so much. You're literally obsessed with me," she said loudly, teasing you with her whole chest.

You were a bit blushed at her response, her now bragging about how much you loved her. Her inner brat has appeared. You wanted to humble her in the cutest way possible.

Y/N: "Yeah, you're right, I am," you replied. You watched as she was a little shaken by your response, Hanni shutting up instantly.

You walked closer towards her, now in front of her. You place your hand on her cheek, gently caressing it.

Y/N: "I love you, Hanni," you said sincerely. You stare into her beautiful eyes, and then you look at her delicate lips. You lean closer, going in for a kiss.

With your lips getting closer to hers, you watched as she whipped her head to the side when our lips were just a couple of inches away. She moved her head so fast it could whiplash. You looked at her, her face being red as a tomato.

Hanni: "No PDA, Y/N," she said, sticking her tongue out. You watched as she smiled, truly happy. You begin to give a fake pout but she laughs it off. "Hey Hey don't get like that. Now, Hurry up! The others are leaving us," she said while turning around and running over to her other member that was about to leave the store.

Y/N: "Fine fine..." you said as you quickly walked over.

As you guys walked around the mall, exploring all of their favorite stores. You weren't into shopping so much, you were honestly just there to spend time with Hanni and be her personal bag holder. Even though you weren't buying any clothes, you still had fun, you were happy just to be by Hanni's side.

As you accompany Hanni shopping, out of nowhere in a random clothing store, you watch as she hides behind an aisle out of sight of the other members.

She then looked at you and made a signal for you to get closer.

Does she need something?

You watched as she looked left and right, checking her members were looking. As you get closer, she grabs your arms and pulls you lower, out of sight. You then feel her warm delicate lips on your cheek.

As her soft lips came in contact with your face, you instantly felt your face blush red. You watched as she quickly retreated, her face also as red as yours. Even though you still haven't processed the kiss on the cheek, you feel her quickly press her lips onto yours.

The quick taste of her cherry lip balm, Her lips felt so soft, so gentle, the feeling of her lips on your making your heart skip a beat. You feel all types of euphoria, as the quick peck lingerie on your lips. With your face now a deep crimson, you look at her, her face filled with happiness, her bright smile radiating throughout the store, her face also crimson.

Y/N: "I thought you said no PDA?" you teased.

Hanni: "S-shut up," she said slightly flattered. She leans into your ear. "I Love you" your heart fills with so many butterflies. She smoothly wraps her fingers around your hand, giving it a loving squish.

She looked at your eyes with a loving simile, based on the way she looked at you, you knew she truly cared about you.

Hanni: "You're not gonna say it back?" She said, looking at you deeply in the eyes.

Y/N: "I love you too Hanni..." you said back at her, her even smiling even more.

Minji: "Ooo~" you hear someone say. You look over and you see the rest of the group, looking at the both of you.

You feel then Hanni throw your hand towards the side and completely move away from you. With her face an even darker shade of red, with steam practically flowing out of her body.

Hanni: "Don't look at us!" she shyly screamed. You and they all laugh at your girlfriend's bright face and shy expression.

Memories that felt like so long ago...

Now the two of you have broken up, our love separated. What you remembered as a love that burned with an eternal fire, reduced to ashes. Even after years, you still felt heartbreak every time, you saw her. It hurt... It really did. You miss her.

You miss what you two used to have... You began to reminisce about all the time we spent together, the good and the bad.
