The Threat

Back in Arendelle . . .
Anna's P.O.V.

"Elsa! Where are you?" I called out anywhere. She hadn't come out of her room in what seemed like years. When Phoenix finally got in, she was nowhere to be found. "Phoenix, what are we going to do? What if she never comes back?" I asked, pacing in front of her, biting my nails.

"Anna, relax. We'll find her. Don't worry about it." But I could tell I wasn't the only one worried about my sister. She seemed just as worried as I was. Scared even.

"Princess Anna. We have a message from the Southern Isles," a stout man said to me, handing me a note. My heart dropped and I felt lost. What if something happened to her. King Henry wouldn't just send a letter if she wasn't here.

I took the note, breathing heavily. I cautiously turned the letter in my hands, examining every detail. The Southern Isles seal was placed between the flap and the envelope. I inhaled once more and opened the letter.
Dear Princess Anna,
Have you missed your sister? Well, she's right here with me. Safe and sound.
She will stay unharmed under one condition. You come to the castle and get her. It's nothing really. Unless you really don't want to get her. But then that would be murder.
It's your choice. Come and get her or she dies.
I expect to see you here within 48 hours.
That is, if you really do care about her.
