The Plan

Back in the Southern Isles . . .

Hans's P.O.V.

I strolled casually through the halls of my castle, thinking, When will I ever see her again? She was beautiful and I regretted ever trying to take Arendelle from her. Passing by Henry's study, I heard whispering and, once in a while, mysterious laughter.

I slowly moved closer to the entrance of the study and saw Henry speaking with two men dressed in black. "We must get her. Take her down from the throne. Kill her if you must. It won't be long now before I will be ruling over Arendelle as well." I gasped quietly and moved away from the study. Sure Anna would be next in line for the throne but I couldn't risk losing Elsa again. She was my heartbeat.

I scurried to the chamber of magic, avoiding any guards and servants that would happen to come across my plan. I carefully snuck into the large room and began scanning for a sleeping potion. I had to hurry before a guard came to check on the room. I was prohibited to enter certain rooms; this one was one of the many I couldn't enter. But to save Elsa, I would give up anything.

I walked through every isle, my fingers brushing through every book and potion. I was starting to give up hope. Right then, I stumbled on a box and fell. I heard footsteps coming into the room and I ducked behind the box. Luckily, the box didn't tip over. The footsteps seemed to just pass by the isles, not bothering to come near me. I turned to face the shelf to look for the potion. Smack in the middle of everything, I found it. I carefully took it and wrapped it in the handkerchief I had in my pocket. Just then, I heard the footsteps exiting the room so I decided to get up and check to see if they were gone. Sure enough, they were.

I stalked back to my room, hiding the potion in my suit, avoiding everyone. Once up in my room, I slammed the door shut and hurried to my bed. I gently placed the potion on the bed and walked to my desk. I grasped a small vile and walked back to my bed. I slowly poured the potion into the vile until it was filled completely. I snuck the potion between my pillows and hid the vile in my suit once more. I carefully opened the window that led outside and climbed out.

I finally arrived at the ship that led to Arendelle, that led to Elsa. The night disguised me well; nobody had seen me enter the ship. I hid between two crates and waited until the ship started moving. It was really late and my eyelids were drooping from how tired I was. As soon as I felt the ship jolt forward, my hand immediately flew to the vile and I held it there. Not long after, I gave in and drifted off.
