'this is when they think'

The sun poured through my window as the early morning sunlight hit my face gently making me turn over and over on the couch.

Finally I woke up feeling the warmth that was emitting from the blanket which was draped over my body.

I got up stretching, looking around the room as I recalled all the memories that happened last night.

I look over at the other part of the couch where Goo was supposed to be, seeing that he wasn't there anymore.

I hum a soft tune still feeling tired as I check the time knowing I should get ready.

'I'm gonna be late if I continue to stand around like this.'

I grab my uniform, get dressed and even brush my hair but...there was something missing.

I couldn't figure out what it was no matter how hard I tried to recall what I must've forgot.

I shrug grabbing my backpack and walking out the door trying my best to get rid of that annoying feeling at the back of my head.

'Well if I must have forgotten it, then it's not that important.Right?'

I kept telling myself that and trying my best to just forget about it, but it got even worse as I reached the school grounds.

Everyone kept whispering and pointing at me as I looked at them in confusion.

The buzzing sounds made me even more annoyed as I walked through the crowds of people trying to get to class.

'Nosy fucks.The hell is wrong with them today?'

I rub my eyes tiredly seeing that I finally reached my class, opening the door and looking at them in confusion.

There in the middle of the classroom was Zack hugging little Daniel with Zoe, Jay and Mira also in confusion.

They turned around and looked at me in surprise making me tilt my head in confusion.

"...Y/N?"

They all say in union making me wide my eyes and furrow my brows as I turn around looking behind me.

"Where?"

I ask still feeling in disbelief only getting a glimpse of my reflection at the window leaving me in shock.

"No, no ,no."   I mutter to myself repeatedly running hand through my face in stupidity.

'It wasn't important huh?My wig and binder wasn't that important?"

It was taking all my willpower not to make a run for it and disappear but instead I gather all my courage and turn around with a smile.

"Hey you guys.How have you been?"

I say waving at them, fully entering the classroom.

"Y/n." Zoe calls out to me running over and hugging me while I hugged her back.

"It's nice seeing you too Zoe." I say with a small chuckle patting her back.

"And what are you doing here?" Zack asks looking at me with a raised brow.

"I'm uhh...I'm covering for Elijah.Yeah.He suddenly got sick and all."

I say looking at him with a neutral expression but deep down I was sweating buckets as I prayed that he would believe me because I have used that lie too many times.

"See Mira.I told you that Elijah and Daniel are the bad guys here.See how he tortures his little sister to come here.Tell them he is forcing you to do this."

Zack says turning me around to face Mira as tears streamed down his face, while I wanted to punch him for the bullshit he was spewing out.

"Still it's good to have you and piggy here. Can't you two come here more often?" Zoe asks hooking her arm around Daniel's.

"Zoe,could you let go of me first and..."

Daniel says but before he could finish his sentence we see Logan crashing through the window breaking it to pieces as I widen my eyes at the sight in front of me.

He stood on top of a table holding Daniel up by his clothes.

"Long time no see Pikachu.You forgot your job already?Be my personal ashtray already."

"That's really ugly Logan." Daniel says removing his glasses and turning around to face him.

"That's it.Stomach for talking back to me."

Logan was about to hit Daniel but I couldn't let that happen as I quickly took out a book from my backpack and threw it towards his face making him stop and look at me.

"Don't you dare touch him you little...pig."

I say hesitating to say the last word as I looked around and saw everybody looking at me after I forgot that I was no longer Elijah.

"Two pigs chatting like little girls.Just get lost will you."

Zack says enraging Logan even more making him rip his shirt in anger while I gagged in disgust.

"Why can't I have one normal day please?Is that really too much to ask for?"

I mutter dreadfully as I see Vin Jin offering Logan his help but after Logan didn't accept it Vasco, Jace and the whole Burn Knuckles entered the small classroom intimidating Logan.

After that Logan grabbed Vin Jin's hand just like he did when the God Dog fight happened.

I stood there as a literal brawl broke out with chairs flying out the windows and people getting smashed through walls making me rethink everything I did wrong to deserve this.

'I'm so done with J-high.'  I think to myself dazed as I walk out the classroom walking to the only place that could console me.

The vending machine.

I walked there ignoring every whisper and look wanting to get to my destination without any disturbance...but of course that was too much to ask for.

"Hey cutie." A guy from the the practical music dept says to me blocking my way.

"What?" I say sneering at him while he looks at me with a cocky smile.

"I have a phone number, you have a phone number-think of all the possibilities."

He says using a cringy pick up line making me frown in disgust.

"You're so right.Suicide hotline on speaker so now you better move out of the way before I actually bash your brain in."

"Oh come on.What could a little girl like you do to me?"  He says with a grin making my eyes twitch in annoyance.

"What did you-Hm wait a minute.Haha. You're just a high school student who isn't an adult that acts like a teenager.Haha."

I say with a smile before bitch slapping him in front of everyone making him move out of the way immediately after he got humiliated by me.

'Finally.'

As soon as I got to the vending machine I could almost hug it but then it would just be weird so I put my money in the machine and buying many chocolates and other candy.

I kept eating and eating feeling my sugar level rise making me relax a little.

As I turned around the corner I bumped into a figure making me fall to the ground feeling more frustrated than I was.

'I can't catch a single break today can I?'

"I'm really sorry." The voice says to me reaching a hand out to help me out.  "Wait Y/n?"

The voice says making me raise my head up to look at him only to see Eli.My face softened and a smile took over my face.

"Eli." I say grabbing his hand as he helped me up.

"What are you doing here?"

"Ah I'm covering for Elijah. He's sick today."

"Well Im sorry for him but I'm glad, because I got to meet you today."

"Aww you're too sweet.Oh you dyed your hair!" I say running my hand through his hair as he leans in closer.

"Yeah you like it?" He says with a grin.

"Very." I say with a small chuckle.

"Do you want to go with me to the cafeteria?" He says inviting me to go with him.

"I'd love to." I say hooking my arm with his and walking towards the cafeteria.

Looks of jealousy followed our every step as it was either about me or Eli.

He was totally oblivious while I was feeling uncomfortable like stop staring.

As we got there the whole place was filled with students that were looking at Daniel in envy.

I had to stifle a laugh at how funny this scene was.

There sat Daniel with Zoe in his left side, big Crystal on his right and Joy who was pulling on his cheek and calling him a marshmallow.

There I could also see Mary promoting her new book on *HOW TO CHARM A GIRL*as a way to scam people and get their money.

'Smart.'

I think to myself but then I was pulled out of my thoughts as me and Eli had reached our destination.

We grab our food and he turns to me with an excited look.

"Come with me I wanna show you something."

In the end I let him drag me to god knows where only to stop at the top of the rooftop.A place where no student was allowed.

"Won't we get in trouble?" I ask him with a raised brow.

"Nah.I come here all the time." He says with a grin etched in his face.

I never went to the rooftop or even thought about it so just imagine my surprise when I look at the view from above.

"Oh my god.Eli this is just beautiful." I say looking around in complete awe.

"I figured you'd like this.I sometimes come here when I want to get away from everything and just be me."

He says sitting down on the ground while I sat next to him.

"I understand you. It's so tiring to be someone who isn't real but still knowing that in the end you're that person."

"Glad someone understands me." He says closing his eyes as the wind started blowing gently.

"So Big Daddy of Hostel huh?" I ask him with a light chuckle.

"You know about that?" He asks kind of embarrassed.

"Yeah.Is there anything else that I don't know about Big Daddy?

I ask him teasing him while he turn his head away not facing me.

"Come on don't be shy.I was just joking."

I say with a laugh leaning against him while he turns around and looks at me with a smile of his own.An actual smile and not those that were practiced or forced who he would fool the whole school with.

He looks at me as if thinking about something as he then moved some strands of hair that were framing my face and he leaned in closer stopping just inches before my lips saying in a husky voice.

"Can I kiss you?"

I freeze not being to fully able to comprehend the situation, I merely nod but that was enough for him.

He leans in fully connecting his lips with mine.His soft lips brushed against mine, his head tilting as a way to deepen the kiss and pulling me closer by the waist.

I wrap my arms around his neck with our bodies pressed together while I could feel his heartbeat and mine racing like crazy.

After a while we both pulled away panting like crazy
needing to catch our breath as the both of us looked at each other still not believing what happened.

"I-uh...we" He says stammering in his words while I immediately shot up, making him flinch.

"We should leave, lunch will end soon right?"

I say with a flushed face not knowing how I was able to say all those words without stuttering once.

"You're right." He says also getting up.

"I guess I'm gonna go now." I say with shy tone heading towards the door as my head was still spinning.

"Wait...let me walk you there."

He says making me stop in my tracks as I look at him with a blush covering my cheeks.

"I-I guess."

After that we started heading towards my class still not saying anything to each other but still feeling comfortable.

'That....that was my first kiss.'

Even though the moment was long gone I was still in a daze as I never thought that things would go like this.

"We-We're here." He says while clearing his voice.

"Ah-yes.Thanks.Thank you for today too.Bye Eli."

"Bye Y/N."

As we both said our goodbyes I was suddenly met with the sight of Zoe who was standing before me with a shit eating grin and raised eyebrows.

"Sooo...you and Eli huh?Never knew you were such a charmer?"

"No, no it's nothing like that. It's just that we have also met before and we're friends and stuff like that."

I say trying to clear up anything she was thinking even though I myself couldn't believe what happened.

"Mmm.Yeah right."

"Zoeee."

"Alright.Alright.By the way the guys told me to invite you and Elijah to a trip."

"A trip?"

"Yeah since the weather is still really good we all thought to take a short trip to the beach where we'll be staying at Jay's villa.Even you can come along."

"Then I'd love to join you guys."

"Then don't forget to meet us at Seoul station at 8 am."

"Of course." I say with a smile as the both of us went over to our seats and sat there waiting for the teacher to come in.

'Wait where even are the teachers?'
