"Are you afraid now?" I ask Enoch as tears flood my vision, making everything blurry. No one I have shown has ever liked my true self, let alone loved it. I'm just a weird, abnormal freak with blue skin. 

He's gonna break up with me now. I don't blame him either. I brought this upon myself.

"Are you scared of me Enoch?"

The next word he utters shatters all the protective walls I have put around myself, all the dark clouds of hate above my head, all the masks I have ever worn.

"Never."
