Y/n L/n
Dionysus' Bar

°°°

Y/n picked up their drink from the wooden counter, relishing in the cold condensation that had began to appear. The bar was crowded which was surprising due to it being fairly new. The large crowd was exactly the reason why they were there, it was an easy way to gain more money. Wherever they looked, the patrons of the bar were staring in their direction, averting their eyes when Y/n made eye contact. It was all due to the rumours across the kingdoms that gave Y/n more attention than they wanted.

Y/n took a sip of their cold drink, the ale slipping straight down their throat in one gulp. Easy jobs like this were simply boring if they didn't get a buzz before hand.

After finishing the drink, they slid a couple of coins across the counter to the barkeeper, who had come back in hopes they'd like a refill. Y/n nodded to the young man and got up from their stool, entering the large group of people separating them from the door.

Though their expression remained neutral, a glint of mischief flashed across their eyes before they disappeared within the many bodies. Y/n's hands moved at a lightning speed, reaching into coats and pockets, robbing the drunk men of the money they had.

Once they were a fair bit away from the bar on top the hill, Y/n looked at their bounty. Their fingers were covered in wedding bands and their pockets full of coins of different sizes and colours.

The moon was watching from up high in the sky as Y/n walked down the beaten path to their home. It was secluded from the rest of the houses out this way. Nobody lived out here besides farmers and those who could afford a house, but couldn't afford Olympus' taxes.

The King had decided years ago after the war with its grandmother kingdom, Gaea, that he'd put more money into their army. That meant a rise in taxes, leaving most people homeless. Y/n had tried hard to help those that they were raised along with gain some hold of their lives after the raise. Living on the streets was something Y/n didn't wish upon any child and usually gave their earnings to the unfortunate beings.

Tonight was a selfish run and Y/n was worried that their curse would act up. It never did around the children, which Y/n was very glad or else they wouldn't know how to support them.

Their fear came true when they walked through the threshold of their house and all of the 'borrowed' items disappeared without a trace. It wasn't their fault that one of the sons of Zeus left out his precious weapon for anyone to take, but it was their fault for getting caught with it. They had been taught better to not get caught.

A rustle of feathers stopped them before they could relive that hellish memory of that one day. Y/n turned to the open window and made eye contact with the eagle that had perched itself on their windowsill. There was a scroll in it's mouth, but Y/n made no advances towards it. The bird scared them as well as the person who owned it.

Noticing their lack of approach, the eagle let the scroll drop, creating a mess as it knocked over a bowl of stew. Y/n snatched the paper up before it touched the leaking liquid. The eagle screeched at them and flew off, most likely flying back to it's owner in the center of Olympus.

Y/n leaned up against their table and opened the scroll, pulling it straight with both hands.

°°°
Y/n L/n, child of Circe
The King of Olympus requires your presence at his palace in three days time. Failure to comply, you shall be hung for your crimes that the King has so kindly put past him.

°°°

Y/n sighed and stretched over towards the counter, shoving everything away from the desired bottle in the back. They pulled out the cork with their teeth and took a big swig of the glossy brown liquid.

'I'm too sober to deal with this'

°°°
Piper McLean
Witch's hut

°°°

"Love potions don't work for the ugly," Piper stated to the young woman in front of her.

They were in Piper's house, far south of the borders of Olympus. The swamp-like area made it undesirable to anyone wanting a house outside of the King's taxes. It was the perfect spot for a witch like Piper; nice and secluded from everyone and everything.

Though Piper did tell the truth about the love potions, she was completely lying about the ugly part. The maiden in front of her was like a rose come to life. She was someone that Piper would wish she could've courted long before her curse.

The love potion, however, was completely useless in any way. It would simply cast more problems onto the victim and the one who had done the act. There was no point in searching for a love potion, but Piper needed money and this was the fastest and easiest way to make it.

Proving her point was the lady in front of her, who happened to be the third one this week and it was only Tuesday.

"I'll gave you a sack of gold pieces for the bottle," The lady squeaked, her hands shaking as she held the leather pouch. The coins rattled around, clinking against one another with each tiny movement of the hand.

As much as Piper hated making useless love potions, she always seemed to be swooned by two things: money and women. Maybe that's what landed here in the dilemma in which she faced herself. After debating with herself inside of her head, Piper went against her better judgement and took the sack out of the girl's hand.

Piper turned around and snatched a small bottle about the size of her pinkie. Once the liquid was jostled around slightly, the dim pink began to glow, illuminating the dark storeroom with its florescent light.

"Such a high cost for a tiny bottle!" The girl exclaimed, rocking the bottle gently once it was given to her.

Piper winked and leaned over the wooden bar. "Sorry sweetheart, but the cost of living and ingredients are so high these days."

The girl looked unconvinced and glanced between the sack of coins and the tiny bottle. It seemed like she was considering taking the bag of coins and leaving.

Piper groaned internally and stared at the young girl. "Look, this bottle will make anyone, and I mean anyone, fall in love with you. All it takes is a sip of this and they'll be yours."

The lady nodded her head and turned to leave. It seemed like her mind was made up and she was ready to travel back to Olympus, where Piper assumed she lived. Piper only wished she could convince the lady to stay a little while, to warm up her bed with her, but she knew that would never happen.

It was almost dawn when Piper closed down her store. She had had a few more visitors throughout the night, but none as beautiful as the love potion woman. Her doors and windows closed and locked with a simple flick of the wrist, signaling that she was done until later that night.

Piper walked downstairs, hoping to get in a bowl of whatever she had left before she passed out. Before she got the chance, her mirror, which was placed beside the cauldron, started rippling like water.

Whomever it was clearly had no care about the time of day they were summoning her at. Piper was a bit miffed when she swiped her finger across the cool surface. A message started playing and Piper only wished she had went to bed.

'King Zeus of Olympus requires your presence in three days time at exactly high noon. Failure to comply will result in the burning of the stake the kingdom has had picked out for you'

Piper slashed at her mirror, cracking it into several pieces after hearing the message. Oh, how annoyed she was at the message, especially the stake part. She was sure to leave some curses once she crossed the threshold of the palace.

Percy Jackson
Poseidon's castle

°°°

Percy sat on top of his bed, staring at the fish moving freely within their glass cage. Typically, Percy would approach them and ask about their day, but there was a sinking feeling in his stomach.

"The King wishes to speak to you, my prince," One of the castle's servants said from the other side of his door, knocking a couple times at the end to make sure the prince was listening.

Percy sighed and stood up from his bed. There was no use in taking his time for this matter. Percy already knew why he had been summoned and expected nothing but parting words from his father.

The fish traveled through their connected tunnels as Percy walked through the large halls. The fish were whispering supportive words to the prince, the only person that they had met that could talk to them. It would be lonely and cold in this palace without Percy, but it was nothing new to anyone who lived there.

The doors creaked as the positioned guards opened them, allowing for Percy to glide through them. They shut immediately, leaving nowhere for the young prince to escape.

"You wanted to see me, my King?" Percy said, kneeling at his father's feet with his head bowed. A rule that Percy had learned at a young age was to show respect, the utmost respect, to his father before he was allowed even an ounce of attention or love.

Just the short sentence left Percy's lungs burning and his throat wrecked. It was a condition that came from a consequence long before Percy understood what 'consequence' actually meant. It seemed like he was done talking for the day unless he wished to burn from the inside.

Poseidon's face was grim as he took a moment to collect his thoughts. It wasn't everyday that you had to send your only child away to your bastard of a brother.

"My brother wishes for your presence in his kingdom. You must leave tonight in order for you to arrive on time," Poseidon said, his shoulders dropping, the weight of his son's well being barring down on his body.

Percy nodded, not wanting to speak another word. He was afraid his voice would crack with the upcoming sob or his throat would feel as if it was aflame.

He was dreading walking into Olympus. Percy didn't want to meet the eyes of the King that caused his disability. He knew Zeus took pride, something he used to have, in stoking the flames inside his lungs.

He let out a shaky breath and rose from his bent form. He was not at all ready for this journey, but it looks like he had no choice.

°°°

Percy Jackson
Olympus

°°°

Percy arrived at the huge metal doors and pulled his horse to a stop. The horse whined at the abrupt stop, almost knocking their rider off of the saddle attached.

Percy wished to have had his voice at the moment, to calm Blackjack down like he used to do as a child, but unfortunately, Percy had the worst luck.

After a few minutes of pacing in front of the doors, a loud voice shouted from inside, telling the guards to open the doors for the prince. The doors creaked open, letting all the hustle and bustle from inside the walls to seep out into the quiet countryside.

"Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon, do you swear an oath of protection towards our royal family?" The loud voice from before exclaimed the typical greeting of the kingdom Olympus. It was no 'how are you' like Percy was used to, but he wasn't surprised by the question. The royal family had been attacked many times before, mostly because none of the family could keep their mouths shut, but Percy couldn't judge. At least Percy knew to keep his closed these days.

Percy crossed his heart with his pinky finger, hoping the guard understood what he meant. He physically couldn't speak and he hoped the guard allowed him entrance despite this.

The guard looked at him and down. Everything had went silent as the tension rose. Even Blackjack seemed to know that keeping quiet was the better option.

"Follow me Perseus, but walk by your horse. We don't allow anyone but the royal family to ride on horses within our walls."

With the order, Percy slid off of Blackjack and lead them into the inner walls of the kingdom. He followed the guard, who was smaller than him by almost a foot he may add, and avoided the stares from the villagers. Percy was soon separated from his loyal horse because the road had stopped and the palace was straight ahead. He knew that he wasn't going to see Blackjack anytime soon, but had no time to say a proper goodbye since the guard pushed him along.

The palace left Percy in awe as he walked through the white and golden walls. It was more grand than his own home, almost blinding his eyes with it's beauty with every glance. The one difference between this palace and his father's was that everything here felt unnatural and too planned. Everything was too clean and it made the palace feel cold, like a blinding prison cell. The small guard pushed opened the golden doors, which Percy assumed lead to the slightly more blinding throne room.

"The royal bastard of Atlantis has graced us with his presence at last!" A booming voice exclaimed, echoing through the room as thunder does in the sky.

Percy's blood felt like it was boiling underneath his skin. The King had no right to say that when many of his own children, that had been accepted inside the royal family, were born out of adultery the same as he was. Instead of arguing with Zeus with the little voice he had left, Percy knelt down on the ground, the same action he had done to his father three days prior.

Zeus' booming laugh echoed throughout the room. Percy wondered if the room was built in a way which allowed sounds to bounce off the wall much louder. It shocked the poor prince out of his skin to hear Zeus' mocking laugh.

"We don't do that here, silly boy. Stand up before you make a fool out of the royal family in front of our guests!"

Percy stood up, his face burning in embarrassment as he stepped back. Zeus' words processed in his brain and he looked 'round the room, just noticing the other six persons, who were just staring at him.

To his left, was a tall blond male, who's skin was so pale that he could see the green veins that weaved throughout his body. Whenever the blond turned his head, Percy took notice of his pointed ears and striking blue eyes. On his hip was a white sword handle that poked out from what looked like a sheath made of leaf.

Beside the blond was a much shorter boy, who was hovering above the ground with the wings sprouting from his back. His skin was as dark as his eyes, both glowing an orange hue that pulsed with each breath he took.

The farthest person on Percy's left was a blonde woman, one Percy had seen many times in his father's throne room. Percy had always thought she was quite pretty from a distance, but now being as close as he had ever been, he thought she was the most dangerous person in the room. The bottom half of her face was covered with a black mask, leaving her gray eyes to glare at everyone in unprovoked anger.

Across from the masked blonde stood another masked figure, but this person had their whole face covered with a fox inspired mask. They wore an all leather outfit, covering them from head to toe, not allowing any skin to be shown. It was the get-up of a thief and Percy knew that much. They seemed to be ignoring all those around them, fiddling a golden coin between their fingers.

Lastly, Percy turned his attention towards the one person Percy knew quite well, mostly from rumours if he were to be honest. Her hair had been braided to the side with some sort of pink thread woven throughout. Her eyes changed colour with every blink of the eye, confusing Percy with each switch.

Zeus cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. Percy hoped this meeting would be over quickly. He didn't want to be in the same room as Zeus for any longer than he had to.

"I have gathered all of you because you all owe me your service as payment," Zeus said, swiping his hand around the semi-circle they were standing in.

Percy couldn't help but to wonder what the others owed Zeus. Judging by their reactions, Percy could guess their situations were as bad or worse than his own.

"What is so impossible that you called a group of nobodies to do it instead of your own military?" The leather-clad person asked. They had pocketed the coin Percy last saw them with and was now using a slim throwing knife to play a dangerous game of catch with themselves.

Zeus glared down at the person, who wasn't bothered at all of the heated gaze upon them. Zeus muttered something under his breath and continued on with his briefing. It surprised Percy that Zeus hadn't punished the person as he would have normally done, but Percy assumed the quest they were about to be sent on was much worse than any punishment possible.

"Gaea has slipped out of her slumber and has started to work with her children, the Titans, to crush every human that inhabits the world," He said as if it was an everyday occurrence.

Percy stood in shock, a chill was sent down his spine. The Titans were almost impossible to stop, especially for seven nobodies that Zeus had chosen. What could Percy do to a Titan? He couldn't even speak three words without feeling like a hole was burning through the skin of his throat.

"The kingdom of Olympus and all the other kingdoms in the world rest their fates in the hands of you eight. I'll allow you half a day to prepare for your journey. By then, you must leave and only return when the Titans have been defeated."

Percy's brain was working at maximum speed to process the words Zeus had spoken. He was sending them to their early graves. None of those around him looked older than twenty winters, meaning they had just barely reached adulthood before being sent to their deaths.

"You may leave now. My guards will show you to a room full of supplies that may aide you." Were the last words Zeus said to the seven of them, hopefully they weren't the last words forever.

°°°
Y/n L/n
Supply Room

°°°

'We're all going to die,' Y/n thought to themself as they followed a guard to the supply room. Everything about this plan, if you could call it that, was terrible. None of them knew the trouble that laid in front of them besides Y/n. The group was being sent to fight Y/n's mother's family, people who used to take care of them when they were younger or those they'd see during family reunions. Y/n didn't want to fight anyone but it seemed as if they had no choice. Zeus was already breathing down their necks and they had only been gone for at least three minutes.

The guard lead them inside of a room filled to the brim with whatever they were to bring with them on their quest. Along one wall were different types of weapons ranging from the smallest of knives to the longest of spears. Y/n didn't hesitate to push past the other six to gaze in awe at the wide selection of weapons. The throwing knives were particularly their favourite.

"Y'know how to use those properly, thief?" The blonde masked figure asked whilst Y/n was twirling a golden knife on their left hand, checking the weight of it.

Y/n gave the person a side-eyed look and smiled when they realized who it was. 'The assassin, how nice,' Y/n thought to themelf as they turned back to the table of throwing knives.

"Hey Blondie, cut any innocent throats lately?" Y/n asked, slightly referring to the last time the two of them had met.

Y/n knew they had hit a nerve within the blonde girl and smirked as she turned away. They left the girl at the knives table, already having finished tucking away numerous knives of different weight and design into their outfit.

Y/n snatched a brown leather satchel that hung off a peg nailed into the door. They were planning to fill it with as much food as they could. Y/n could hunt, but that was too much effort and they knew how much walking the group would have to do. The more snacks available, the better.

As they were at the food table, collecting whatever food would last the longest, Y/n felt a tap on their waist, alerting them to someone's presence.

"Are you going to be okay fighting your family?" A low voice asked, their words were whispered, not wanting to bring any unnecessary attention to the two of them.

"Truthfully, no. How can I kill the ones closest to me, Jason?" Y/n asked, refusing to look up at the elf. They knew they would start to cry if they made eye contact with him.

"Ask that to anyone and they'll just guide you to me," He responded, each word forced out of his mouth as if each word was sour. "I'll be by your side no matter what you choose. For you are the only importance in my life."

It was proving harder than Y/n thought to keep their tears from falling. Jason was as dedicated to them as he was when they first bonded all those years ago. It warmed their heart that they had someone on their side no matter what.

Before Y/n could respond to his confession, the guard cleared their throat, alerting the packing criminals to stop what they were doing.

"It's time to leave if we want to get to our first stop before dusk," The guard said, seemingly making eye contact with each member in the group.

Y/n felt as prepared as they could be at the moment, physically not mentally or emotionally though. They briefly touched Jason's hand as they passed by him.

"Time to go monsters," The witch, Piper, said as if she wasn't as much as a monster as the rest of the criminals in the room.

°°°
Percy Jackson
Half-Blood Forest

°°°

If there was one thing that Percy paid attention to in his studies was the mythology of each region. They were mostly the same no matter where he looked within each culture. Percy had to do a lot of digging into each regions culture to find even a tiny bit of difference. If he had to compare it to anything, Percy would compare it to the term 'Mesopotamia', a word that covered a bunch of different cultures, but were put together simply because of how close each civilization was to one another.

Being within this group of different people, Percy can see the differences in cultures and mythology clearly. He was the only one from Atlantis and it was clear by his slightly blue-tinted skin from the water and his abnormal green eyes. His clothes were looser than the others and were covered in rippling patterns, something the fae boy could not stop looking at.

Percy assumed the assassin and the thief were raised in the same area based off a few reasons. They both were paranoid, glancing around the too silent forest they were currently walking through. Their speech was something Percy had only heard from those in the darkest parts of Atlantis. They spoke in a thick accent, something that Percy could not understand only hearing proper speech from his family and servants. The two figures also held their hands over their weapons, each finger twitching closer to it with each noise.

The elf wore shades of dark greens and browns, colours Percy have never seen on a person up until now. His limbs were long, much too long for a human, though Percy assumed he shouldn't make that comparison because the person was not human. The elf carried no leather and only used a bag of leaves to carry his items. How he got those leaves to stick together was strange enough for Percy to think about. The elf spoke in as if he was always whispering. If Percy had to compare it to anything, it would be to the breeze. His voice was gentle and seemed to wash over Percy with each word. It was weird for a man of the elf's height to talk in such a soft voice.

Piper McLean, the witch and one of the few that Percy knew the name of, was raised within the courts of Olympus. Percy had been to gatherings of the Royal family and had seen her there many times. She shared the same proper dialect as he used to speak, but her words were always spoken like warm caramel while the actual speech was spoken with the feeling of biting into a piece of toasted bread. She still held herself as the royal she was raised to be, but her tight dark clothing went against every dressing rule placed in the palace.

The fae boy was dressed in all orange, though in different shades as if he was dressing like a flame. These were colours that Percy was familiar with since they were often seen in the tropical location of Atlantis. Percy assumed the fae boy lived in a neighboring community of his own, likely in the volcano region of Volcan. The boy was mostly born of the volcanic fumes, resulting in his coloring and the heat radiating off of him. His speech was cracked and wavering, like a fire on a windy day.

The only people he couldn't pick anything from was the guard leading them to their deaths and the newcomer who followed them in the back of the group with a black hood drawn over their face. There was only so much Percy could assume from their sizes and he didn't want to make any assumptions without any other evidence.

The guard had stopped, shaking Percy from his thoughts he was so deeply in. He took a glance around his surroundings and was surprised they had gotten this far into the forest in such little time.

They were pretty deep within the forest. The trees had slowly been getting thicker and taller with each step the group had taken. Percy could tell that it was now dusk, but the leaves and branches of the trees made it seem like it was well into the night before they had stopped.

"We're setting up camp in this clearing. No fooling around since we'll be up at dawn tomorrow. We need to clear much more ground before we get to the half-way mark," The guard said, gesturing to the clearing that they had arrived at.

The six other criminals darted to a space, grabbing the ones they thought were best. The unknown figure changed into a bear, laying close to a trunk of a tree and the fae boy shrunk to the size of Percy's pinkie and found a wild flower to curl up in.

The assassin and the thief had a glaring contest in front of the biggest tree in the clearing, waiting for the other to break. The glaring only stopped when the elf spoke something the thief, making them lose the tree to the assassin. The assassin climbed up the tree and the elf and thief slept on the ground, using each other for warmth.

Percy didn't know where to sleep. Even though he was raised as a disgrace of the Royal family, he was still raised in wealth, never having to sleep outside or without the proper blankets and pillows.

"Come on your highness, if you don't sleep now, you'll lose whatever charm and beauty you currently have," The witch said, smirking as she gazed up at Percy.

She flicked a few of her fingers, turning a fallen log into a comfortable looking bed that she quickly climbed on to.

Percy decided that complaining wouldn't get him anywhere and would just make everyone else thing he was a spoiled prince, which he technically was. He went over to a tree that none of the others were occupying and sat down by the trunk. He rested his head back and said a quick prayer to his father, wishing for a good night's sleep in these new conditions.

°°°
Hazel Levesque
Half-Blood Forest

°°°

Hazel knew all if their names, backgrounds, and most importantly, their crimes against the Olympus kingdom. Saying this out loud would make the group immediately hostile towards her so she kept it to herself.

King Zeus had pulled her aside a week ago and gave her the written reports on each of the criminals. Due to the impact of each crime and the religion that the Olympians followed, the criminals were named The Seven Sins, how original I know. Each crime was acted in response of seven emotions that were taboo in Olympus and since Olympus was the ruling kingdom of the regions, each person was guilty due to the emotion that was said to be present at the time.

Piper McLean, a witch that had been documented for years well past Hazel's own life, was charged with Lust twenty years back. Due to her mother, Aphrodite, Piper was allowed to live in the Royal kingdom though as a servant instead of a heir to the throne. She was born from adultery between her mother and an artist in the wealthy part of Olympus. The report had stated that when Piper was around fifteen in human years, in witch years it's unknown, she had tempted the young prince Ares into unforgivable acts. The King, in response, exiled the servant to where she resides in Alifornia Swamp. It's said that in the act to save himself from the witch's control, Prince Ares clawed her face until it became the scarred version it is today.

Then there was the elf, Jason Grace, who had been arrested for Sloth for the slaughter of his race. It was a known fact that the elves were creatures of the light and that they were pacifists. This fact worked against Jason during his trial in front of the King. He had lived in the, now decimated, town of Jupiter with his mother and older sister. Jason pleaded to the King that Prince Ares had destroyed his kind, leaving him the sole survivor so the blame would fall on him. The Prince had denied this and stated the the elf's mental state had deteriorated due to his mother's and sister's abandonment and he took it out on those of his own kind.

Leo Valdez, the fae boy, was arrested for Envy. The record had been written long before Hazel's grandmother had been born, resulting in the ink fading. There was no writing understandable for her to read on, but Hazel knew to watch out for his mischievous ways. Though he was the least intimidating besides the Atlantis prince, it doesn't mean the fae boy was any less dangerous.

The assassin, Annabeth Chase, had escaped arrest more times than Hazel could count. The amount of scrolls written of her crimes took Hazel over a day to look through them all. Though there never was enough evidence to put her into the dungeons, there were many murders that involved her technique of throat-slitting that the King put her on the most wanted list for Wrath. King Zeus claimed that because she was a woman with no family nor husband, that she was mentally unhealthy and was mad with rage. He stated that no woman in her right state of mind would act like Annabeth did. This case made Hazel angry, but she couldn't state that to the King, who would only reply with the same diagnostic as he did with Annabeth.

The Atlantis Prince, Percy Jackson, wasn't labeled as a criminal in his crime report. The crime, or whatever it was called since it wasn't a crime apparently, was Pride. It had to do with Prince Ares, the third report to have him involved, and resulted in the burning of Percy's throat. It was said that the Atlantis Prince had a silver tongue, unfit for a heir to the throne and in result, Prince Ares acted to cut out said muscle. With intervention from the King Poseidon, Percy escaped with a handprint burnt around his neck, ultimately affecting his speech and vocal cords.

Y/n L/n was arrested for Greed. Being raised in the poor district of Olympus from birth is what was said to be the reason why they started stealing. At first there were accounts of food stealing, but they were never reported to the King for he has no care for those he calls 'dirt on the bottom of my boots'. Her mother, known titan and witch, Circe, was arrested and burned at the stake when Y/n was five winters old. Y/n was abandoned to the streets and continued their thievery throughout their childhood and pre-adult years. The law of not arresting those under 18 winters, was tested greatly so by the time Y/n turned the age, they were to marry Prince Ares or rot in the dungeons. They escaped from the dungeons two nights later, taking Prince Ares' prized weapon along with them out of spite. The King brought known witch, Piper McLean to curse the thief and the curse continues until their last breath.

Lastly, there was Frank Zhang, the shape-shifting criminal arrested for Gluttony. There are many variations of the crime Gluttony, but Frank's seemed to be the worst. His family where known shifters, born of a child of Poseidon, making him a possible heir to the throne if not for Prince Percy. To achieve the ability of shifting to many animals requires the consumption of the body of a fellow member of one's family. Thogh it is an ancient rule, there's a law placed by King Zeus that claims no cannibalism within each family unit. Cannibalism itself is allowed, due to the sick nature of Prince Ares and his strange rituals, but no mother is allowed to eat their child unless born dead. Frank had been found eating the contents of his mother's and grandmother's bodies in their house outside of Jupiter. Therefore, the boy has been arrested under the Gluttony rule.

All seven of the criminals had been arrested, but allowed some freedom outside of the dungeons because of the title placed over their heads. They were constantly watched by the King and the royal family and were only to be detained if they committed another act of sin. The King had placed curses on all seven, making sure they wouldn't commit their sins or if they did, it would backfire. They were sent on this quest in hopes that they would either die or they would beat the Titans and then they would be killed.

Hazel just didn't know why she was placed in the group, leading them to their deaths. What had she done to deserve this treatment?

Hazel had stopped questioning herself when she made eye contact with Y/n, who had silently been observing her and the area they were in. Though it was dark, Hazel could tell that they had spotted something within the forest.

The ground had started shaking, waking up the other criminals, some standing up ready to fight while others were still sluggish.

"Something's here."
