After all that had happened, things had...well calmed down.

Matsuda still received short evil glares from Ryuzaki every once in a while... but otherwise than that, it was okay.

"We have a month. It'll depend on which of us is fastest.."
Not paying attention, you didn't know what Ryuzaki was talking about as he started walking across the room with his hands in pockets

...Yeah, he wasn't stopping either.

He started to go up the stairs, forcing Light to go with him

"R-Ryuzaki! Where are you going?!" The boy asked , stumbling on his feet

"Misa's room. Ritsuko, follow behind."

"O-Ok.."
You quickly walked with them

"I'm sorry, Light. I know you're on your father's side, but i'll need you to come with me as I cannot remove the handcuffs"
The raven said, pulling the other with him

The second Ryuzaki opened the door, Misa started speaking
"Light! Is it okay if we go on a date today?"
She asked loudly, and then furrowed her eyebrows
"...Even if Ryuzaki's got to come.."

And then you came in, and she brightened up immediately, smiling
"Oh! Ritsuko's here! It can be a double date, then!"

You widened your eyes and looked to the ground, blushes

Ryuzaki rolled his eyes and started walking towards Misa
"Misa..."
He put his food on the side of the couch and leaned over towards her, coldly staring deeply into her eyes as he spoke
"Do you love, Light?"

"Y-Yes..! Very much.."

"And yet...you also admire Kira?.."

"Y-Yes.."

He got even closer into her face, making her back up.
Light was behing Ryuzaki, pulling on his chain, trying to get him to stop, but he wouldn't budge

"So, if you had to choose between them, who would you pick?"

"Huh?!"
She got up and ran behind Light, latching unto his shoulder
"Light, of course! It's true i'm grateful to Kira and i've wanted to meet them in the past, but that isn't love..!"
She hugged his arm
"It'll definitely have to be Light!"

"...and Light, you want to catch Kira, don't you?.."
Ryuzaki asked

You were just standing there awkwardly, why were you here? What's your purpose?

"Yes, of course."

Ryuzaki went right back up to Misa
"Light wants to catch Kira. Now, what do you think of that..?"
He asked her

"I-If Light to catch them, then I want them caught too..."

"So, if it was possible, you'd want to be of use to Light and help him investigate, correct?"

Light furrowed his eyebrows
"R-Ryuzaki!-"

"-Yep! I would do anything for Light!"
The girl excitedly held her fists to herself and smiled

You bit your lip and started chuckling to yourself

"Just wait a minute!" Light told her, looking back at Ryuzaki
"What are you planning?!"

"We'll get Eraldo Coil to report to those seven that he's got a lead that suggests that Amane may known L in some way, and that 'Misa was interrogated of suspicion of being the second Kira."

"That's true too.."
She said

Ryuzaki had his back turned to the couple, he looked at you
"If they think that there's a chance that Misa knows L, they'l definitely employ her to be in their commercials and attempt to question her... That time Matsuda messed up, he did ask for her to be hired for a commercial, after all.."

"Yes!"
Misa got excited, but Light had different plans

"No way! That would put you in danger."

Misa gasped and smiled
"You're worried about my safety?! Yay!"

Can I just go..?

Misa was all over him
"But I would do anything for you, no this is nothing!"

And this moment, both you and Ryuzaki looked at each other, both disgusted and annoyed at the two

Light sighed, and put his hands on either of Misa's shoulders
"Listen Misa, if they think you know L, they'll try anything possible to get you to admit it."

You started to quietly walk out the door, but Ryuzaki grabbed your arm and pulled you back in

The girl raised up her fists with a smile
"It'll be fine! No matter how much they torture me, I won't say a thing!"

"Sounds about right."
Ryuzaki spoke in a sarcastic tone as he walked across the room, yanking you with him

Light furrowed his eyebrows
"We know that Kira can manipulate people before their deaths. There's a real chance that they'll manipulate Misa into talking before killing her."
Misa gasped beside him
"In fact, if they kill L, they'll no longer have a use for her and will kill her in order to silence her."

"I-I wouldn't want that.."
She stuttered

Ryuzaki then put his finger up at Light

"As long as we win, Misa won't die."
He then held up the chain
"Also, as long as we're connected by these handcuffs, we'll share the same destiny. If I die, you die too. And if that happens, the saddest person will be Misa."

You widen your eyes as Misa runs over to you
"B-But what about you, Ritsuko? Won't you be sad too if Ryuzaki dies! You like him, right?"
She asked

Ryuzaki widened his eyes

"Uh-I..I guess I would be.. sad.."
You nervously stuttered

Misa smiled and pointed at you
"See? You'll make Ritsuko sad too, Ryuzaki!"

Light sighed
"She doesn't support Kira, and has been helping him since the beginning, Misa.."

"W-Well.."

Ryuzaki groaned
"Either Light and I die, or we catch Kira. So, which is it?"
He motioned his hand towards Misa who excitedly jumped in the air as a response

"We catch Kira! I could never dream of living in a world without Light!"

He smirked
"Yes, that would be dark.."

"Ryuzaki! This is going too far!"
Light exclaimed

"We don't have much time, i'm in a hurry.I've turned to her because her bravery and love for you is boundless .."
Ryuzaki said dramatically

You put your hand over your face

The girl held her hands together, believing every bit of Ryuzaki's words
"R-Ryuzaki.. I-I've misjudged you all this time! I-I even called you a pervert.."

You choked-

"-But, you actually do understand me, don't you?"

Ryuzaki sighed, speaking sarcastically again
"Yes! Misa is indisputably the most perfect and worthy woman for Light."

She threw her hands up in the air
"Yay!"
-She then ran over and kissed Ryuzaki on the cheek

"You're such a sweetie! Thank you, Ryuzaki!"

His eyes widened as he looked up at you

You nodded with a smile, signaling that it was okay

-He wiped the kiss off of his cheek

"Could you be a friend of mine? Would that be okay?"
She asked

Ryuzaki looked up, his fingers on his chin
"Yes... so now i've gained yet another friend..Does this count tor Ritsuko as well?"

"Of course! Any friend of Light's is a friend of mine as well!"
She giggled and grabbed your hands, pulling you all in a circle

A very, very, uncomfortable circle

"Let's all be friends together!"

"Y-Yay..."

"Yay...fun..heh.."
Ryuzaki mumbled

She pulled away with a smile
"And, of course, I would never think of betraying any of my friends! With our powers combined, we'll arrest Kira!

I'm ready to go...
