You and Misa watch in utter horror as L and Light flip across the room from the hard impact of his punch

A vase broke on the ground, you started trembling. Misa backed away, stepping on cake that fell on the floor

"Hey, that hurt, y'know.." L mumbled, he looked a bit taken aback as Light had looked angrier than ever

"Look at me when i'm talking to you, brat!"

Stop it... don't think about it..

"You have no motivation because your little theory about me bring Kira was wrong?!"
Light boomed

You watched as Ryuzaki wiped his mouth
"Perhaps I phrased that badly... I meant that making the first move might work against us, so-"

"How are we supposed to catch them if we don't even chase them!?"
Light looked so angry as he yelled at Ryuzaki who looked at him very calmly
"How many innocent people do you think have already been embroiled in this!?"

He pulled up Ryuzaki by the collar
"Besides, weren't you the one who imprisoned both Misa and myself!?"

Ryuzaki paused, his raven hair covering his face
"I know... but whatever the reason.. "

Your eyes widened

He completely flipped himself into the air, kicking Light hardly in the jaw

"An eye for an eye, my friend..."

Light flipped over, sending both him and Ryuzaki onto the couch, flipping it over on it's back.

"M-Mother please..."

"Do not call me your mother!"

"Please, Mother... y-you're drunk..."

"What did I just say you bitch?!"

You could hear the sound of glass breaking on your skull as it repeated over and over

You hid yourself in a corner

"It's not that my theory was wrong.. Merely that "Light Yagami is Kira" and "Misa Amane" is the second Kira" wasn't enough to solve the case. That is why I am depressed."
Ryuzaki spoke calmly, yet so sternly.

Light got up
"I'd say it was wrong.. The way you're talking, it sounds like you won't be satisfied unless I really am Kira."

Ryuzaki looked unamused
"I'm not satisfied unless you're Kira..? Well there may be some truth to that..."
He had a dark look in his eyes
"...Maybe I wanted you to be Kira..."

And with that sentence, sent Light throwing another hard punch at L, you flinch at the impact

Ryuzaki stood his ground, and didn't move an inch
"...I-I'm a lot stronger than I look, you know?"

And Ryuzaki flipped around, kicking Light in the face

You've never seen Ryuzaki physically injure anybody on purpose

And you didn't like it

You were crying, but nobody even knew. Misa hid behind a the fallen coffee table, covering her ears as the boys practically were tearing each other apart

You couldn't take it anymore

You stood up and ran out of the room, slamming the door

And that's when Ryuzaki stopped

"Ritsuko? What's wrong?" Matsuda asked

You shook your head, tears fighting their way down your face
"I-I need to go to the bathroom..."

Ok.." Matsuda said, watching as you walked to the bathroom

Soon, the boys walked back into the main room, leaving Misa inside.

"Where's Ritsuko?"
Ryuzaki asked, looking around

"Yeah, she just ran out." Light shrugged

Aizawa pointed towards the bathroom
"She was crying. Don't ask me why, I don't have the answer."

Ryuzaki bit his lip
"Aizawa, watch Light for me. Don't take your eyes off of him."

"What?"

Ryuzaki took keys from his pocket and unlocked his handcuff

"Wait- you had that the entire time!?"
Light looked annoyed

Ryuzaki smiled and walked over to Aizawa
and clicked the handcuff around Aizawa's wrist
"Wait- What the hell!"

"I've concluded that my assistant has a severe form of PTSD. Something must have triggered it, which is why i'm going to her. It won't take long...You can be patient, can't you?"
Ryuzaki smiled and walked away, the entire team was speechless

You were breathing hardly on the floor, hearing knocks on the door made it no harder

You couldn't even speak

You didn't even lock the door, so the person let themself in

You looked up and-

It was... Ryuzaki

He closed the door behind him and locked it

He crouched down and scooped you into his arms, your legs wrapped around his waist only allowed him to hold you tighter

He pet back your hair, holding you. You both stayed like this for a few moments as you cried into his shirt

"Shh... i'm here.. nobody's going to hurt you..."

He knew exactly what was wrong, yet he took this time to be quiet for just a few seconds on each others arms. He knew you didn't want to talk about it, and he respected that

You slowly pulled away, your face was damp, red, and swollen from tears

Looking at Ryuzaki, his pale face was covered in already darkened bruises and small scratches

You frowned and gently touched them
"R-Ryuzaki... y-your face.."

He smiled gently and took your hand, kissing the back of it, then putting it down

He cupped your cheeks and gently wiped your tears away
"Baby, my face is the least of my worries right now..."

You blushed

He chuckled softly at your reaction to his words
"Are you alright, love?" He asked

You nodded, sniffling
"Y-Yeah.. i'm fine.."

"I apologize for not being able to control myself , i'm afraid my actions were the reason for this..."

You smiled, already feeling better in his arms
"N-No... it's okay.. i'm fine now.."

You looked at his wrist that no loner had a handcuff on it
"W-What about Light..?"

Ryuzaki smiled, he smiled a lot today. He was happy to see you

"Aizawa is taking care of it as we speak, but it won't be like that forever. I can't do this all the time.."

You frowned
"I know..."

"Did you get my letters?.."
He asked, his fingers caressed yours as he held your hand

You nodded

"Did you read them?"

"Every single one."
You smiled, a blush emitting from your cheeks

"Then expect much more to come."
He kissed your forehead, gently turning your chin up to look at him
"You know... the more time that passes without you beside me is beginning to make me feel crazy.."
He caresses your cheek
"It hasn't even been that long, yet I miss you more within every passing second..."

You start to cry again

"Love, what's the matter?.. Did I make you cry?"

He wiped your tears away

You shook your head
"I-I.. just love you so much..."

Well, yes. But

The actually reason was that you had never thought you would ever receive such love

All the nasty words your mother said about you...you believed every single one of them

You would have never thought that you deserved this, yet here he is...

Ryuzaki smiled, drying your tears with his sleeve.
"I love you more than you could ever know... I long to hold you and touch you, but I can't... it's so..frustrating..."
He scrunched his nose, pouting in a funny way

You giggled, playfully hitting him in the chest

"There's that gorgeous smile I was missing.."
Ryuzaki smiled yet again

He stood up, helping you up as well

"You ready to come back out, now?"

You nodded, but before you could even get close to the door, Ryuzaki grabbed your wrist and pulled you into his arms.

His lips were immediately on yours, leading into a gentle, passionate kiss. Your arms found themselves around his neck as his arms held you tightly by the waist

To assure that you wouldn't carry yourselves away, you both pulled away at the same time.

Ryuzaki wiped some saliva off your lips with his thumb
"I'm going to make sure to write you letters as much as I can... you can write them back, too, you know?"

"R-Really?"

He nodded
"Mhm, instead of taking the paper out, you put the paper in and it goes down to me. I forgot to mention it."

"Oh.." You giggled

He chuckled and kissed your forehead
"I love you so much, (Y/N)."

"I love you too, Ryuzaki..."

He leaned and and kissed you one last time

"Come out a few minutes after I leave, so it doesn't look bad, okay?"

You giggled and nodded as he walked out

He winked playfully and closed the door, leaving you to yourself to regain your composure.

"I-Is she okay..?" Matsuda asked

"Just a panic attack, i've helped calm her down. I left her in there so she could have some time to herself."
Ryuzaki said as he grabbed the key and unlocked the handcuff around Aizawa's wrist

"Was this really necessary, Ryuzaki?"
He says, annoyed

"You'll be okay."
He says as he clicks the handcuff around his own wrist
"Okay, where were we...?"

The men went back to their research fairly quickly

You got excused to your room by Ryuzaki where you quietly and comfortably watched movies, anxiously waiting for Ryuzaki's letters and the next day to come..
