Chapter One

I admit, it had been quite some time. Maybe I should let him live his life, not muddle in it like I had tried to do so at thirteen, but then again it wouldn't actually impact him. That was the idea of a simulator. Put it any location, from any time or era and you would be able to interact with it fully. It was a interesting yet existential idea of a creation. I'd lie awake at night sometimes wondering if I were in a simulation, but even if I were it'd mean I would have had to exist at some point, as the simulation software could only use people who have existed, and not make any sort of NPC or AI, yet.

I remember the day I first used my CALLISTER was when I was around thirteen. It was late in the evening and I was home alone, with nothing of much importance to do; besides homework. But the thing about the CALLISTER that made it even more incredible was the fact that time in the real world scarcely passed when in the CALLISTER, leaving someone to be able to live inside of it for years, while only seeming to be connected for mere minutes. Maybe that is why socializing has become so bleak to me, when I could much easier, and much rather socialize to people of actual importance, with something to actually say and offer to me, Someone like Alexander Hamilton
