Aonungs Pov:

The dinner was slowly drawing closer.

Right now neytiri and Jake had come back and they were helping set up for the dinner.

"Must be important huh" Jake chuckled and I could see how nervous Kiri looked.

"Yeah, some good carp for dinner" I said, trying to distract the parents.

"Carp?" Neytiri said confused. "I've never tried that one before" she said, looking deep in Thought.

"You'll have to try it sometime, I think it's good" I smiled and neteyam nodded along. "I'm putting my new seasoning I got!" Neteyam smiled happily.

"I'm really nervous!" Kiri whisper to me and neteyam as we were checking the boiling fry bread. "Just breathe and take your time" neteyam whispered back and I nodded along.

"Okay" Kiri said, letting out a huge sigh before going back to sit down at the table.

Me and neteyam brought the fry bread over and you could see how sad nana looked. I came around to give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Are we aloud to eat?" Lo'ak was the first one to asked and Kiri let out a small giggle as tuk joined in. "Yes eat" Kiri smiled.

Everyone began dishing up their plates, talking and chatting.

I glaced over at Kiri and she was picking at the food of plate she had.

I bumped neteyams are trying to signal over to Kiri since neteyam say right next to her.

Neteyam got the que and whispered something to his sister and she nodded.

After everyone was about halfway done with their food kiri stood up, letting out a loud exhale.

"Everyone I have something to tell you" Kiri announced but almost everyone was already looking at her.

"And before I announce this I will hope that nobody's opinion would change on me" Kiri said and everyone looked at each other confused.

Ronal squeezed Kiri's hand, giving her reassurance.

Kiri took a big sigh before saying. "I'm pregnant"

It went completely silent in the room. Almost everybody was shocked.

"No..." Jake whispered.
