Neteyam's Pov:

"Should we head back now?" I asked aonung once we started to steer away from the beach. "If that's what you want" aonung shrugged. "But do you want to?" I asked again. "Do you want to go back?" He asked a dumb smile gracing his face.

"Stop" I said flatly, realizing he was teasing me. But I couldn't help but smile too.

"Sure let's head back" aonung said giving me a final answer.

As we headed back to my den with every steps our hands would touch or brush up against each other but neither one of us moved away. It was comforting. I don't know why it was but it was nice being with aonung.

"Oh you probably shouldn't come to close to my den" I chuckled lightly when I could see my den in the distance.

"Why?" Aonung asked confused, I looked at him sheepishly. "My parents are still really mad at you" I said, tensing my jaw. Aonung seemed to laugh. "That makes sense" he smiled. God he was beautiful.

Once we had reached closer to my den we stopped to give out fair wells.

We struggled to find away to greet each other good bye but we soon decided on a shoulder pat, I laughed once we actually greeted goodbye.

"Bye aonung!" I called after him as he turned around to wave. "See you tomorrow!" I cheered happily before walking back to my den.

Once I had gotten there I was greeted by my sister Kiri and my mom neytiri who was doing Kiri's hair.

"Why are you so smiley?" Kiri asked and I instantly realized I still had that stupid grin on my face. "Just happy " I laughed off. Mom seemed to raise an eyebrow at me.

She sees right through me

"Welp Im gonna go to my room, bye!" I said awkwardly, rushing back to my room before she decided that she wanted to say something.

--time skip.

Neteyam's Pov:

"Come on neteyam, get on" aonung said, pulling the ilu to a stop next to me. I looked up from my own ilu in confusion. "Where are we going?" I asked, taking his hand and hoisting myself up onto the ilu's back.

"You'll see, hold on" aonung smiled, grabbing my hand and placing it on his waist I could feel my face heat up.

When the ilu went I tightened my grip on his waist, aonung had strong muscles and I could feel them all on my chest. He's going to kill me.

When the ilu broke out of the water there was the most beautiful sky, the stars looked perfect in the night sky and it was lit with colors.

"Pretty ain't it?" Aonung asked. I nodded my head in awe. "It's so beautiful" I told him and he smiled at me. "It reminds me of you" I told him and I could see his cheeks instantly darken. "Thanks" he mumbled awkwardly.

"Neteyam!" A voice shouted and I shot up out of my sleep. Lo'ak stood beside me. "jeez dude you sleep like a rock" lo'ak said. It was a dream. "Come on sleepy head it's time to eat" lo'ak told me, grabbing my wrist.

Holy shit I dreamt about aonung.
