"It's Wanda. It's all Wanda."

ᗢᗢᗢ

A large, purple man came through a blue and black portal, the gold on his hand holding 5 stones, the blue one glowing.

"Wanda, it's time," The red man with a yellow stone in his forehead on the ground panted. The red haired woman, Wanda, looked at him over her shoulder and let out a shaky 'no'.

"They can't stop him, Wanda," He pleaded, grabbing her hand , "But we can. Look at me. You and Natalya have the power to destroy the stone. You must do it or Natalya will have to. Please."

He pulled her hand so it rested against his cheek, Wanda's jaw trembling as she held back tears, "We are out of time."

"I can't," Wanda whispered shakily, and that's when a red haired girl, probably just turned a teenager, ran up to them, red energy fizzling out from her palms.

"If you can't... then I'll do it I guess" The girl said with an Eastern Europe accent lacing her voice, fear and sadness in her eyes. She took in a shaky breath.

"Natty, you can't do this," Wanda pleaded, but Natty shook her head,

"Vision's been like a dad to me, so if this is what he wants... so be it," Natty blinked back the tears welling in her eyes, "Y-you keep Thanos away and you want have to watch, alright?"

"If he gets the stone, half the universe dies," The man, Vision, backed her up, "It's not fair. I shouldn't be you or Natty, but she has decided to do it so you don't have to. It's alright. You could never hurt me." He gave Wanda a reassuring look, "I just feel you."

"You shouldn't have to do this," Wanda muttered and pulled Natty in for a quick hug.

"I love you, mum," Natty whispered, watching her mum go and use her energy to postpone the purple man, Thanos. Natty turned to Vision and gave him a small smile, her hand hovering over his forehead as the red energy pooled in her palms. With a grunt, she sent a powerful beam of it at his forehead. The tears spilt over the edges and ran freely down her cheeks but she kept herself quiet. She was going to destroy the only father figure she'd had in her life, even if he was an android and tried to kill her once or twice.

Looking over her shoulder, Natty saw a blonde woman get thrown by seemingly nothing and unbreakable roots covering her body to prevent her from moving. Wanda sent energy at him, but Thanos deflected them like they were nothing, even though they knocked him back a few steps.

"Can't you split him in half with the mind stone?" Natty tried to joke despite the tears. She added another hand to shoot energy from her palm and she could feel her heart breaking. An uneasy feeling settled in her gut as her shoulders moved up and down. Natty tried her hardest to keep herself from breaking, but slowly and steadily, her heart was chipping away. Vision gave a small smile from the teen's attempt of lightening the situation, but it fell almost immediately. Wanda backed up so she was back-to-back with her daughter, sending energy to keep the purple man at bay.

"You can do it Natty," Wanda reassured, tears also falling down her face.

"So young, yet... so powerful," A gruff voice observed.

"Sweet, sweet Tommy, don't you wanna sleep?" Wanda cooed as she walked into the living room, bouncing the baby in question in her arms. She was answered with a cry. "Mommy wants to sleep."

"So does sister," Natalya called from the sofa.

Wanda had noticed her daughter hadn't been making as many jokes or sarcastic comments lately, her usually stoic-but-bubbly personality slowly fizzling down. She hoped that her daughter trusted her enough to tell her if anything was going on.

"If you go to sleep, I promise you will be my favourite twin," Wanda sung the last few words, keeping her voice quiet.

"Oh, come on now, darling," Vision scolded lightly but it held no heat, "You know we love them both equally."

"Well, don't tell him that," Wanda gasped, moving Tommy as if he understood what the parents were saying.

"Ah yes, because newborn twins can understand what we're saying," Natalya mumbled, which brought a small smile on Wanda's face.

That's the Natalya I know, Wanda thought happily.

"No luck with Billy?" Wanda asked, seeing that the other twin was still awake.

"Tried reading to him, but for some reason, Charles Darwin's The Descent of Man made him cry even harder," Vision seemed clueless as to why the baby didn't like it. Natalya rolled her eyes from the sofa.

She had a pit in her stomach, a dreading, twisting feeling that something wasn't right. That something was going to go wrong soon.

"Oh, care to dance, darling?" Vision proposed and the adults went closer to each other, bouncing the babies in their arms and doing a small step-dance.

"It's almost like we're on a date," Wanda said.

"Keep it down, lads, I was about to get my leg over," Vision told the twins when they made a loud noise with their mouths. Natalya gagged, barely catching what he was saying.

Vision could also tell that Natalya was getting stuck in her head more often and easier lately. She would jump at the slightest sound and her gaze was always on her hands.

"Vis?" Wanda asked suddenly, earning a hum from Vision and Natalya to snap out of her thoughts and look toward her parents. "Would you mind grabbing their binkies?"

"Oh. 'Course not. Binkies all around, I think," Vision answered. Wanda and Vision placed the twins in their allocated cots. They started wailing loudly as Vision walked into the kitchen and Natalya pulled her legs to her chest, resting her chin on top of her knees.

She was probably overreacting, yes, but what would anyone else do in her situation? She had red energy coming from her palms, she made Dolly act strangely, she hurt Agar, witnessed her mother throw someone out of their house with the same red energy, she's been getting strange visions that mostly included her mum and now she was a big sister with a million questions running through her head. So, her strategy was to become quiet and overthink. A defense mechanism, she decided.

"Well I don't think it's very funny. Why won't you do what I want?" Wanda asked the twins as they laughed from her failed attempts of using magic to make them quiet. Vision walked into the room and Natalya laughed softly when she saw the binkies in holes either side of Vision's head where a human's ear would usually be.

"That is not where those go!" Wanda laughed and plucked the binkies from his head and the space closed over with silver.

"Noise cancellation is not their primary function?" Vision asked, sarcastically or not, Natalya couldn't tell. She felt alienated in her own home. Wanda put the binkie's in the twin's mouths and their wails were instantly silenced.

"Look I think it's working."

"Three, two, one..." Natalya counted down, and on que, Tommy and Billy spat their binkies into the air. Wanda leaned against Vision in defeat and said his name.

"What are we doing wrong?"

I mean, when you threw Geraldine out of the house, all of your children were there, so they're probably scared, Natalya thought bitterly, but inhaled and exhaled, imagining the bad vibes leaving her body with the breath. She needed to stop being so cold toward her parents.

The doorbell rang and Vision went to answer it, but Agnes had already opened the door and greeted them. Vision went over to the couch quickly and Natalya threw a cushion at him so he could discreetly change his skin to look human.

"Oh, Agnes, I was just fluffing this pillow. With my face..." Vision gave the cushion a pat and sat it down next to his daughter, who didn't react, once again having her legs pulled up to her chest and stuck in her thoughts.

She was thinking about the vision she had gotten the previous night. A girl that looked an awful lot like Natalya had killed Vision. It was like thing were clicking into place in her brain.

The red haired, probably teen girl was her, the brunette/orange haired woman was Wanda, the man with red skin was Vision, and the silver haired man was Pietro. What did any of this have to do with anything in her life? Why was she plagued by these dreams?

Agnes came over and dropped her duffle bag next to Natalya. Agnes inhaled deeply, and tried to discreeetly read Natalya's mind, but was met by a thick red wall she couldn't break. She hid her frown with a wide grin.

"Oh, I was just on my way to Jazzercise when I heard your new little bundles of joy were on a sleep strike," Agnes explained exuberantly.

"Oh, who told you that?" Vision asked, putting his hands on his hips.

"Uh, my ears," Agnes joked, pointing at her ear with one hand. Natalya tilted her head.

"You're telling me that you simply heard what was going on inside our house," The teen asked bitterly.

"Natty, manners," Wanda scolded and Natalya didn't answer, staring at the wall.

Who else would name their kid Natalya and have their mother that's name is Wanda and a man with red skin called Vision nickname them Natty. I think I have proof now that this was a memory, Natalya thought rapidly, her heartbeat speeding up and her thoughts not making any sense.

"Anyway, Auntie Agnes is here and I've got a couple of tricks up my sleeve," Agnes' hand made a small motion with her hands.

"Oh, Agnes, you're a lifesaver," Wanda praised, grabbing the other woman's hands. Natalya tilted her head slightly. Something smelt like... lavender? in Agnes' bag and Natalya didn't dare inspect further. Yes, she can be headstrong at times and act without thinking, but this moment was not one of them.

"Very well. But be careful of their belly buttons and remember to support their heads and when was the last time you washed your-" Vision rambled, nervous about letting someone else take care of his children, "Actually, you know what? It would be... just... Maybe we better not."

Natalya agreed with her dad on this one and went over to the babies' cribs. Their cried seemed to soften as she neared, bringing a soft smile on her face.

Agnes seemed disheartened, tripping over her words and facing Wanda, "Do you want me to take that again?" Wanda and Vision shared a look and Natalya looked down at the twins, her cold hands softly brushing across Billy and Tommy's clothed bodies. Suddenly, Billy seemed to jitter, red and blue flashing across his face before going back to normal. Natalya bit down on her bottom lip to conceal a gasp and turned to listen in on the adult's conversation, thinking her brain was playing tricks on her.

"I'm sorry?"

"You want me to hold the babies," Agnes explained, "Should we just take it from the top?" The dark haired woman's gaze switched toward the teen girl standing between the cribs, the twin's cries soft and mentally smirked. Agnes could practically see the cogs turning in the teen's mind. Agnes wondered how her 'parents' hadn't been able to tell something was up with Natalya, the woman had been there not even five minutes and she had spotted the change in the teen's behaviour.

Wanda and Vision started laughing stiffly while Natalya stared at Agnes, making the woman uncomfortable under her gaze, with a small head tilt. Natalya thought there was something up with her but couldn't tell what.

Agnes started laughing as well before going over and rocking the cribs and simultaneously doing lunges. Natalya stood opposite Agnes, her arms crossed over her chest and a hand near her mouth. Anes suddenly got a perfume bottle and started doing side lunges, spraying the contents onto Tommy and Billy.

"What is that?" Natalya snapped, going into over-protective big sister mode, catching the attention of her parents to Agnes.

"Lavender. It's supposed to have a calming effect." Agnes explained and Natalya calmed down a little, "Ralph sprays it on me every night but there's no taming this tiger." She shook her behind.

Agnes went over to the separator and grabbed some liquor, reminding Wanda and Vision that they hadn't seen Natalya drink coffee since the day before. Maybe she was finally getting over her addiction?

"Don't mind me. I'm just looking for your dark liquor," Agnes grinned and Natalya went over to her, reaching up and pulling the dark liquor from where it was. "Not for me, for the twins! What kind of babysitter do you think I am?"

Natalya opened the lid of the liquor and took a sip, enjoying the burning sensation travelling through her body.

"Mommy?"

"Daddy?"

"Sissy?"

Wanda, Natalya and Vision turned from the empty cots to see two small brunette boys at the platform of the stairs. Wanda let out a gasp and a low whistle came from Natalya. Vision and Wanda shared a look of concern.

Agnes sighed from where she was sitting on the counter, "Ah, kids," She let out a chuckle, "You can't control 'em. No matter how hard you try." Agnes couldn't help but glance over at Natalya as she spoke, her words sinking into the teen's mind.

If Natalya wasn't suspicious of Agnes before, she certainly was now. Normal people would've freaked out if previously newborns had suddenly grown to about five years old. Agnes' calmness put the teen on edge.

Tommy and Billy went over to Vision and Wanda, giving them a hug as the parents picked up the children. A soft smile formed on Natalya's face and her head tilted to the side a little bit, momentarily forgetting about her thoughts about Agnes.
