Chapter 197: Hawaii Full Day 1/Happy Birthday Justin Hawaiian Style

The next morning Meredith and Tristan woke up to the smell of the ocean and a breeze blowing in their faces.

"I love waking up in Paradise." Meredith says.

"I know me too.   Tonight we will actually sleep out on the balcony." Tristan replies.

"Okay." Meredith says.

"We better get up us guys have a fun day planned for us." Tristan says.

"Okay baby."  Meredith replies.

"It's Justin's birthday.   He is turning the big Thirty so we are going to celebrate him tonight." Tristan says.

"Aww I forgot it was his birthday." Meredith replies.

"Its okay I got us covered with a gift." Tristan replies.

"Good." Meredith says.

"And  tomorrow will be on our own.   I got a special day planned just you and us.   Mom is watching the kids and they are going out onto our beach for the day. " Tristan says.

"Okay baby." Meredith says.

"Yes I think the others are doing the one thing but we are not doing it together at different times." Tristan says.

"Okay baby." Meredith says.

They both get up and get dressed.   They put bathing suits on and then what they wore over it.   They then head downstairs.   The guys take the dogs outside.    The girls get the kids up, dressed and ready.    When they come back in they get ready to go.   Ruth was staying behind and enjoying some of the amenities the resort had to offer.   She would also keep an eye on the dogs.

"Happy Birthday Justin." Kris says.

"Yes Happy Birthday." Sid replies.

"Happy Birthday old fart." Geno says.

"Yes Happy Birthday." Jake says.

"Welcome to the Dirty Thirty club." Madison says.

"Yes welcome.   Thirties are your best years yet." Nadia says.

"Yes they are." Anna replies.

"Haven't gotten there yet." Taylor says.

"Me either." Meredith says.

"They are right its your best years yet." Autumn says.

"Thanks guys." Justin says.

The gang heads out.   They head out to their first adventure of the day.   They touch down on the Big Island to discover its highlights, like rainforests, black sand beaches, coffee plantations and Volcanoes National Park.     Explore the Big Island on this one in a lifetime tour.   They arrive at their first stop the  Royal Kona Coffee Center.   Where they were able to sample some  of Kona's different  coffee brews as well as they were able to take a stroll through a lava tube.

"That was pretty neat." Madison says.

"Who can say they walked through a lava tube." Kris says.

"Us now." Nadia says.

"Yeah but not many people can." Sid says.

"No they can't.    It was pretty cool." Autumn says.

"I agree it was." Justin says.

"I agree.   I love coffee and everything about it." Taylor says.

"I think we all love coffee." Jake says.

"Yes I do." Meredith says.

"Me too." Tristan says.

"Coffee is good." Anna says.

"Yes is." Geno says.

They head to their next location Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park.    They walk around following different paths.   They see rain forests and waterfalls.   No Volcanoes yet nor black sand beaches but the girls got lots of pictures.    Finally they come across  Punalu'u Black Sand beach.   The beach has black sand made of basalt and created by lava flowing into the ocean which explodes as it reaches the ocean and cools.

"This is awesome." The girls say.

"Yes it is pretty cool." The guys reply.

The kids were excited too.    The girls got their pictures with their feet in the water but on the sand as well.      They took lots of different pictures.    It was fun.   They then head off to their next stop, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.   They got to see a lot of volcanoes.   They reach  the heart of the park.   And there stood  Kīlauea and Mauna Loa active volcanoes.    They got to go down inside and see them from the inside out.   That was pretty cool and a good experience for the kids.     They continue on coming upon  the Volcano House restaurant is located within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and is perched on the rim of Kilauea's Halema'uma'u crater.    Amazing view.     The girls took lots of pictures for sure   They continue on to the  Kilauea Visitor Center.   They go inside and walk around.   The visitor center features exhibits covering the park's environment, history & culture.   It was pretty neat to learn different things about the park.   They finish up and head to the Steam Vents.   At the steam vent location, ground water seeps into the warm volcanic rock and returns to the surface as steam.   They  can safely feel the heat from the Volcano through exploring this special thermal area.     Next was   Self-guided tour of factory and grounds of the Big Island.    They leave the park.

They head to their next and final stop Rainbow Falls.    A drive through Hilo Town, see the King Kamehameha Statue & Shinmachi Tsunami Memorial and Rainbow Falls.   It was pretty and the girls were in their picture taken glory.    They head back to the marina.    They were picked up by a boat to start their next tour.    They board and  follow their  guides to see the wild spinner dolphins native to the region.    Swim alongside them and watch as they jump and spin in the air and then move to another location to see brightly colored tropical fish and Hawaiian green sea turtles.    A professional photographer captures images of the day, which they  purchase.     After playing with kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and the onboard 20-foot (6-meter) waterslide, dine on a variety of different breakfast foods in a buffet style.

"The food is delicious." Madison says.

"Yes it was." Nadia says.

"Yes it was and the kids loved it too. "Autumn says.

"Yes they did." Taylor says.

"I enjoyed it." Meredith says.

"Yes we all did." Anna says.

They finish eating and head back to the marina.   They board the boat and head back to the villa.   They get off and head inside.   The kids were tired so the girls laid them down for a nap.

Madison and Kris head to their room and lay down for a nap as well.     A little bit later they wake up.    They head out into the kitchen and they start to make lunch.    Everyone joins them and they all pitch in.    When lunch was done they sit down and eat together.   They then play a few games with the kids and the dogs.

Much later in the evening  they are picked up from their villa, they board a comfortable coach for short ride to the Paradise Cove Luau.  It was a private event just for them they were celebrating Justin's big day Hawaiian style.    The staff  greets them  with a traditional Hawaiian lei and a Mai Tai cocktail,  virgin for the kids and the pregnant ones.   They had decorations and signs up for Justin.

"What is this?" Justin asks.

"Happy Birthday baby.   We are celebrating you Hawaiian style." Autumn says.

"Yes we are." Madison says.

"Thanks." Justin says.

"You are the guest of honor.   This is all for us." Nadia says.

"Yes it is." Meredith says.

"Its going to be fun." Taylor replies.

"Yes it will be." Anna says.

"Well let's go." Justin says.

"We will have fun." Sid replies.

"Yes we will." Geno says.

"I cannot wait let's party." Tristan says.

"Yes let's party." Jake and Kris both say.

They head inside.   As they entered to savor the memories they got a  few different souvenir arrival photos and gift.   They walk around taking  in the views of downtown Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki and Diamond Head as they find their special table.    Take some time to peruse the Hawaiian Village to see traditional arts, crafts and games.    After the Shower of Flowers, participate in the Hukilau on the beach and learn the net fishing techniques of old Hawaii.    Following the pageantry of the Royal Court Procession and imu (earth oven) ceremony, their  evening continues with a Hawaiian feast.     Taste traditional Hawaiian dishes, typically roasted in an underground oven or imu.     It was served buffet style and they all had seconds and some thirds.

"The food is amazing." Nadia says.

"Yes it is." Sid says.

"I agree its a pregnant woman's dream." Madison says.

"I am sure it is." Kris says.

"I love Hawaiian food." Autumn says.

"I think we all will end up liking it." Justin says.

"True fact." Taylor says.

" Yes it is." Jake  says.

"Food is just good." Meredith says.

"Yes it is." Tristan says.

"This was fun I am glad we came." Anna says.

"More coming." Geno says.

They then bring out the cake.

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Justin, Happy birthday to you." They all sing.

He blows out the candles with the help of Holly and Noelle.

"Happy Birthday Ustin." Noelle says kissing him.

"Thanks princess." Justin says.

"Happy birthday daddy." Holly says kissing him too.

"Thanks baby girl." Justin says.

They then do presents.   Justin got a lot of gift cards and money so he could get whatever he wanted.    After dinner, enjoy live music, songs and dancing from across Polynesia as you witness the Paradise Cove Extravaganza.    The kids and the girls even got to join in learning how to hula dace.   They each got their own grass skirt and coconut bras.    It was fun.    Finally it ended and they head back to their boat.     They head back to the Villa and head inside.     The girls put the kids down for bed.  It didn't take long for them to be asleep.   Meredith then heads to find Tristan.   He was out on the balcony.   He had the awning stretched  over it so if it rained they were covered. Meredith joins him in their make shift bed. Tristan kisses her and that led to another kiss.   They end up making love a few times before falling into a much needed sleep.
